"Hey, you know break is coming up soon...."

YeongMi halted, and Namjoon was too slow to react. Their interlocked hands were victim of an unintentional game of tug of war, and YeongMi stumbled forward as a result.

"What's wrong?"

"You just surprised me, it's fine. What are you saying?" YeongMi wasn't sure whether to be scared or elated; it depended on where Namjoon was going with this.

"Well, I visit my family over break, you know."

YeongMi nodded; he had left for a week during the summer, and YeongMi had stayed with Miss Yi. She hated to admit that she really missed him.

"Yeah, that's cool, I understand," YeongMi started walking again, but Namjoon pulled her arm, and she halted once more.

"Wait, I'm not finished."

A deep sigh, and YeongMi nodded, leaning against the wall and waiting for Namjoon to continue.

"Well, I've talked about you," YeongMi smiled, "and they want to meet you."

"What are you saying?" YeongMi brought a hand to her face to keep from speaking again.

"Well, if you want to, you could come with me this time."

"Seriously?" Namjoon was saying that YeongMi could come home with him? He was okay with her meeting his family? It would be her first time, and she was nervous, but insanely happy.

"So, do you want to?"

YeongMi let out a short laugh, biting her lip before composing herself, a serious look on her face.

"I mean, I guess I could. If you really want me to... I suppose it'd be okay with me."

Namjoon rolled his eyes, grabbing YeongMi's hand and pulling her down the halls before they missed lunch.

"I'll pretend that I didn't see that cheesy grin when I first invited you, you know, since you're all nonchalant about this."

YeongMi smacked Namjoon's chest, but she was laughing, and Namjoon knew he was right.

"I'd love to, Namjoon."

"Great," Namjoon grinned, beyond excited. His mother was very important to him, and having her meet YeongMi was definitely something that he needed to do. Aside from that, he thought his younger sister would be happy to have someone else to talk to.

"I think GeongMin will like you. Just don't talk about Jungkook. They're the same age, and she always bothers me about introducing them."

"It's not like he would do anything, except maybe cry," YeongMi laughed.

"Yeah, but I'd rather she met you instead."

YeongMi smirked, "aren't you scared I'll be a bad influence?"

Namjoon snorted, "no, because she'll see how terrible you are and do everything that you wouldn't, so it works."

YeongMi gasped, glaring at Namjoon. "I take it back, I'm not coming with you." She pulled her hand away, quickly walking away from him. She wasn't really mad, but it was fun to make Namjoon a little nervous.

"Wait, I'm kidding," Namjoon rushed after her, and soon they were running.

He didn't have to do much work, as she stopped a few paces away, causing him to nearly slam into her back.

"What," Namjoon copied YeongMi, looking where she was staring.

"Fuck."

Directly in front of them, coming through the entrance, was Bora.

She was paler than YeongMi remembered, different from YeongMi, who was tanned from all her time spent at the beach. Her blonde hair was now a pale pink, and she seemed to have regained her arrogance over her extended summer.

She had been greatly upset when Namjoon and YeongMi reconciled, but she had seemed to forget it now.

She noticed their stares, and her lips pulled into a disgustingly pretty smile. She had the nerve to send them a delicate wave, flipping her hair before disappearing down another hallway.

"Fuck is right."
