Y/n's POV.

Y/n L/n is currently in hell standing at the top of the highest point in hell training with the power of His balance breaker fighting Legions of demons and other creatures of hell eventually it is done he has slayed all of his opponents and now he stands amongst hundreds of corpses.

Abaddon: once again Master you have shown your strength and skill and proven that you deserve the throne.

Y/n: I'm an engine of War it's kind of what I do it's what I'm best at even before I became what I am.

Y/n disengaged his balance breaker and returned to his normal state.

Abaddon: yes you can slay any opponent but that is not all you can do you can destroy but you have proven that you can do something far beyond that.

Y/n: and what would that be?

Abaddon: you have shown that you have the power to create.

Y/n: yes you're right I do like to design and create things.

Abaddon: and since you have proven you deserve your place on the throne of hell I believe it is time to take you to that throne.

Y/n: There's an actual throne?

Abaddon: Yes Dear Boy every King needs a throne and it's time to take you to yours follow me.

With that said Abaddon led the way and Y/n followed him the trip was taken in relative silence eventually they found themselves in an expansive desolate plane full of razor sharp rocks protruding from the ground in the distance Y/n could make out the outline of something

Y/n: what is that in the distance?

Abaddon: that is the Royal Palace your Royal Palace to be exact.

The closer they got the more Y/n could see the Royal Palace and to say the place was big is an understatement of the century the Royal Palace was massive.

Y/n: wow that is a big Palace!

Abaddon: it was built before the Great War sometime after Lucifer fell from Grace and became a devil there is the birthplace of the Forbidden gear it's sacred locks can only be unlocked by 1 who has truly earned the right to call himself the new Lucifer and that would be you or one of his original descendants and since you have earned the right to take the throne you are the only one who can unlock the sacred seals locking the power of the palace away.

Y/n: interesting so let us undo the seals.

Y/n walked forward before he can get any closer a large red barrier appeared you took the form of a dome with strange writing written all over it in some sort of old language Y/n scanned the language but unfortunately his systems could not translate or identify the language.

Y/n: I cannot identify this language either it's an old dead language that Skynet could never identify or it's some sort of made-up language can you translate Abaddon?

Abaddon: of course I can it is the language of the devil a language most sacred to us demons how to read it has been lost for many centuries not even the Devils can read it but I can it says to those who wish to past this barrier one must have the blood of the Noble House of Lucifer and wield the blade of my own creation to all Intruders abandon all hope for there is nothing to gain but your own damnation.

Y/n: wow ominous I guess when he means the blade of my own design I guess he means the blood saber and technically the blood of the original Lucifer does run through my veins now since I have taken possession of the Forbidden gear question is how do I open this barrier?

Abaddon: it is simple master take the blood saber and stab it into the barrier just like you would a lock and key.

Y/n: got it!

Y/n unsheathed the blood saber and proceeded to stab the barrier with the sword to his surprise the sword pierced the barrier as if it were coming through warm butter Y/n gave the sword a quick counterclockwise turn the sound of shifting tumblers and moving gears to be heard and soon enough part of the barrier opened as if it were a large door.

Y/n: Wowza now that is pretty cool.

Abaddon: that is indeed pretty cool I never thought I'd see the day when the barrier would open again and I would enter my old home.

Y/n looked at the giant demonic serpent with a confused look.

Y/n: you used to live here?

Abaddon: of course I used to live here with my original master this was my home.

Y/n: how did you fit? No offense buddy but you're extremely massive I bet you can wrap yourself around the whole Palace 7 times over.

Abaddon: none taken and it is quite simple I have the ability to shrink and grow as I see fit I can be as small as a baby garden snake or I can be large enough to swallow the moon whole.

Y/n: shit that's pretty cool.

Abaddon: why thank you master I shall demonstrate now.

With that said Abaddon began to shrink he became smaller and smaller until he was the size of a Burmese python.

Y/n: wow I bet that's a really fun party trick.

Abaddon: oh you have no idea master.

Y/n: so let us continue on shall we?

Abaddon: yes let us I have become very homesick over the many years I have not been here.

Y/n and Abaddon made their way to the front door of the palace the barrier behind them closed the double doors are massive and they are written in the same language as the one written on the barrier on the doors or massive demonic knockers Abaddon wrapped his long body around his master not strangling him but just hanging on to him Y/n grabbed one of the knockers and hit it against the door three times he then waited patiently for something to happen soon enough someone answered the door the one who answered the door was a strange looking person he looked like a some sort of supercharged devil he has horns Darkness just float off of him he had three eyes tendrils of Darkness came off of his back and he has strange markings on his chest.

???: hello sir are you the one we've been waiting for?

Y/n: if you mean I'm the new king of hell then yes yes I am.

The man looked and saw the blood saber his expression changed from neutrality to shock he then fell to his knees and bowed down to Y/n.

???: I humbly beg for your forgiveness master I did not mean to be so rude to you.

Y/n: arise my dark child you are forgiven please tell me your name.

???: yes my Lord

The man gets up and stands at attention.

???: I am Grandmaster Leonard and it is an honor to meet you master.

Y/n: it is good to meet you too Leonard I am Y/n L/n what exactly are you Leonard.

Leonard: well master I am the devil in charge of caretaking of this Palace.

Y/n: excellent I do have a question what is that strange energy flowing off your body?

Leonard: it is extremely rare and Powerful Shadow Magic it can only be found here in hell to very high-level powerful demons such as myself.

Y/n got a brilliant idea and a Sinister smile spread across his face.

Y/n: would you mind if I were to take a few drops of your blood?

Leonard instantly knew what his new master was talking about.

Leonard: Yes master it would be quite an honor for you to have my magic added to Your Arsenal!

Y/n: excellent now please give me your hand.

Leonard happily did as his master requested Y/n slit the palm of Leonard's hand with the blade of the blood saber his blood dripped onto the blade of the saber the blood was instantly absorbed into the blade the blood traveled through the veins of the sword and into Y/n's body Y/n lifted his hand casting a shadow under him and with a flick of his wrist his shadow shot off the ground and turned into razor sharp spikes.

Y/n: trippy And intuitive now I can use my shadow and everyone else is Shadow like a weapon with this new power I'll have the element of surprise in every battle.

Leonard: it is an honor to have my magic added to Your Arsenal master I also have another ability you might now have.

Y/n: and what would that be?

Leonard: I have the ability to change into any animal I see fit so I believe now you can too!

Y/n: interesting how does it work?

Leonard: all you have to do is imagine the animal and will your body to change and it will happen.

Y/n: huh well let's try it out shall we?

Y/n imagined a great falcon he willed his body to change just as Leonard told him too and soon enough his body began to change and morph and within a few seconds he turned into a falcon.

Y/n: okay now this is trippy!

Y/n flew around the grand foyer for a few minutes until he reverted back into his normal human form Abaddon still in his smaller form slithered up Y/n's leg and wrapped himself around his body like he were a grand long scarf.

Y/n: all right I can really get used to that power the question is are you Limited just certain animals or can you change into any animal you see fit?

Leonard: I can change into any animal I see fit even if it's just a fictional creature I can also combine different animal parts to create more dangerous forms.

Y/n: now that is going to come in handy when I'm on stealth missions tell me Leonard are you the only one resigning here?

Leonard: oh not at all master there are multiple others work here all waiting for their Master to return and serve him with every ounce of their beings.

Y/n: summon them I wish to meet them.

Leonard: right away my Lord!

Y/n: also get that wound treated we don't want you bleeding all over the place.

Leonard: yes of course my Lord I shall right away.

Leonard summoned the others and soon enough a multitude of butlers and Maids showed up and lined up in two rows.

Butlers and Maids: it is good to meet you master we are humbly at your command!

Y/n: wow that's a lot of maids and butlers.

Abaddon: Master Lucifer always did say it's best to have more than less.

Y/n: agreed now that we have met each other I would like a grand tour of my new Palace.

Leonard who just finished treating his wounds stepped forward.

Leonard: I would be more than honored to give you the Grand Tour Master!

Y/n: excellent let us begin shall we?

Leonard: yes of course master!

Leonard ordered the Butlers and maids to get back to work the Butlers and Maids filed out of the grand foyer to go do their own individual tasks Leonard began The Grand Tour first he showed them the grand dining room the dining room was massive two large Grand chandeliers blood red crystals hung from the chandelier hung from the ceiling an nice stone fireplace adorned the right wall a long table graced the center of the room on the left wall wear multiple Grand windows after the dining room they went to the kitchens the kitchens were magnificent not a spot of dirt or dust can be seen on any surface the design of the kitchen looked like it came out of the Mind of a French Chef's wet dream after that they went to the ballroom the ballroom had a large grand chandelier made from blood red crystals the ballroom itself was massive it look like it hold up to a hundred guests and it definitely put the one at the Gremory estate to shame after that they visited the basement otherwise known as the dungeon the dungeon looked like well a dungeon except it looked like a dungeon forged in hell after that they visited The Wine Cellar which had thousands of choices of wine some of them so old they dated Back to Before the Great War which was hundreds of years ago after that they visited the library to say the library was massive is an understatement it was ginormous there were thousands of bookshelves all holding thousands of books.

Y/n: Leonard what kind of books are these?

Leonard: well Master Lucifer did love to read in his spare time so there are all kinds of books here books from the human world books full of magic spells and rituals some created by Lucifer himself the Serpent's have managed to keep the library up-to-date all these years.

Y/n: the serpents?

Y/n heard the sound of snakes hissing he looked around the walls and saw a few serpents each one of them holding a book in their coils.

Leonard: yes the serpents they travel all over to take books to keep the library up to date it was Master Lucifer's Last Wish that we keep the library up-to-date and keep it fully stocked everyday the Serpent's come by with at least 50 books this Library has special Wharf magic so that we never run out of room any book you could ever desire would be right here and if it was the only copy we managed to create copies of certain books that were supposedly inaccessible to us even a few books from the place called The Vault at the new age Academy and all these books are all for you master no knowledge in this library is forbidden to you you have unlimited access to it 24/7.

Y/n: wow I have got a lot of reading to do good thing I do like a good book in my spare time whenever I can find spare time.

Leonard: let's move on there are so many sites to see so little time.

With that said they moved on to the next place in the palace next was the conference room the conference room was quite functional there were multiple charts hanging on the walls a few maps schematics there was also a Round Table in the center of the room with multiple chairs sitting around the table after that they visited a long hallway with many doors this was the guest wing we're guests may stay after that they visited a large entertainment room it had everything an entertainment room should have a huge ass TV a nice long couch multiple comfy recliners a vast collection of game consoles hooked up to the TV a very powerful computer setup a pool table a foosball table multiple arcade machines a poker table and finally a nice big bar with a large selection of alcohol.

Y/n: now we're speaking my language!

Leonard: I see you are pleased with Your Entertainment Room Master?

Y/n: of course I am very happy where did you get all this stuff?

Leonard: well every now and then whenever I'm not busy I'll head up to the human world and I'll retrieve something to add to this entertainment room I know how much my old Master loved to be entertained and it was one of his final commands to make sure that this room was kept updated to the times.

Y/n: you got Wi-Fi down here?

Leonard: of course Master we have the fastest and most secure internet you'll ever come across.

Y/n: very neat I'll make sure to definitely come down here more often maybe I'll bring a friend or two.

Leonard then showed Y/n the master bedroom his bedroom to be more Pacific the room had a nice little Chandelier it had a large four poster bed a lounge couch coffee table a chair multiple mirrors a nice footrest a fireplace and a lovely ornate rug.

Y/n: wow how swanky looks comfortable as hell can't wait to give it a try.

Leonard then let them down another hallway there they encountered a pair of stone doors Leonard waved his hand in front of the stone doors multiple symbols appeared on the doors the sound of a lock undoing itself could be heard and the door opened.

Leonard: Master I'd like to introduce you to your private Workshop.

Y/n looked around this place looked like it was made for creating items of power weapons of all shapes and sizes it basically look like a blacksmith's wet dream.

Abaddon: this place here was the place where the Forbidden gears were born most famously the blood saber was forged here here you'll be able to create any weapon or item of power your heart desires.

Y/n then noticed another pair of doors.

Y/n: what's through those doors?

Leonard: I'm not exactly sure no one has ever been in that room except master Lucifer it is locked and no magic of mine can undo it's lock.

Y/n went over to the doors and noticed there was something weird there was a large slot in the door it was way too big for a normal key to fit it was rectangular in shape and very slim as if you are supposed to put a blade in the hole Y/n instantly understood he took the blood saver and jammed the blade into the slot and soon enough he gave a quick counterclockwise turn and the door unlocked the door opened Y/n removed the blood stay burr from the door and put it back in its sheath and in there stood thousands upon thousands of materials schematics designs blueprints books of forbidden Magic a chest full of gold and jewels there was a strange gem sitting on the pedestal on the back wall it was floating in mid-air it was blood red in coloration and it had a strange cut.

But the weirdest thing of the room was the strange black scythe it looked like it was made out of a strange black Crystal and the handle had a slight curve to it.

Y/n: what a strange Scythe why do I get a strange vibe from it.

Abaddon: that's not just any scythe that was Death's Scythe it belonged to the Horseman of death one of Lucifer's original generals one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Y/n: what happened to them?

Abaddon: simple after the Great War they were sealed away until their one true Master could free them again and that would be you.

Y/n grabbed the scythe and gave it a few experimental swings it felt right in his hands it felt like it was meant for him.

Abaddon: that weapon has the ability to kill anything even gods.

Y/n: just like the Tempest?

Abaddon: exactly like your Tempest it can stop all regenerative abilities kill anything and make sure that they stay Dead Forever!

Y/n: oh I'm so taking this thing!

Y/n hung in the Grim Reaper's scythe on his back.

Y/n: so what's with the gem over there?

Y/n pointed to the strange Crystal on the pedestal.

Abaddon: that Crystal is a soul trap.

Y/n: okay for a second let's pretend I have no idea what that is and you just tell me what it is.

Abaddon: simple it is a special device created by Lucifer himself when an enemy is defeated you just deploy the soul trap and their soul is ripped from their body and trapped within the gem granting immeasurable strength to whoever is using the gem.

Y/n: wow that is pretty cool.

Abaddon: souls are like small nuclear power plants each one can grant someone immeasurable power but collect enough of them and you will have power to rival and surpass the Gods.

Y/n suddenly had an idea a horrible wonderful idea.

Y/n: oh I am so taking it!

Y/n grabbed the soul trap and put it in his pocket.

Abaddon: I can understand why you want it but what are you going to do with it?

Y/n: oh you'll find out~

With that said they left the room and the workshop as soon as they left the doors slammed shut.

Leonard: and now you have access to both rooms whenever you desire.

Y/n: excellent!

Leonard led the way two more parts of the palace it was mostly uneventful just the normal stuff that a palace that belong to the devil would have multiple bathrooms a torture room a security surveillance room a personal study a battle arena and finally they were lead to a large set of double doors.

Leonard: and this is the final room and this one is the one I think you'll like the most.

Leonard waved his hands and the door slowly opened the room was long and rectangular on the walls hung brilliant tapestries telling a story multiple beautiful red pillars sat between the tapestries and at the end of the room was a a beautifully ornate red stone throne and behind the throne was a beautiful blood red stained glass window.

Leonard: and this is your throne room my Lord.

Y/n: wow when you said I would take the throne I didn't really think there was a little throne.

Abaddon: well there is and it's all yours for the taking just sit down in your throne my Lord and one true master.

Y/n walk along the floor and soon enough he sat down in his throne it was extremely comfortable to say the least.

Y/n: now this is what I'm talking about the new dark lord on his dark throne I truly am the new king of hell and I will most certainly enjoy my reign.

Y/n looked at his hand and noticed he was fading away again signifying that he was waking up in the human world.

Abaddon slithered off of Y/n and looked at him.

Abaddon: it looks like our time is at an end once again I will see you tomorrow master.

Y/n: till we meet again Abaddon.

With that said Y/n vanished Without a Trace heading back to the human world.
