The gang had split up. Males and females. Chat Noir needed second chance more than the others did, he also would be safer with Carapaces shield and Pegasus' teleportation power. Kim remained on guard just in case an outside attack took place. His powers would give them time and a warning to protect.

The males made their way back into the room Adrien had just left, ready to commence battle. The girls on the other hand had a different mission. One they needed Queen Bee's venom and Rena's illusions to help succeed.

Boys vs Set.

Girls vs Amelie.

It was time to finish this once and for all.

Ladybug led the girls through the front door of the warehouse Amelie had taken up in. Knowing her powers were at full strength and her kitty was safe there was no way Amelie was going to win, she wouldn't let it happen. Adrien had described the object they needed to find and break to get rid of the sentimonster, and unfortunately, Nathalie too.

As they entered the hallway it was silent. Lights flickered on and off with the obvious lack of use, it seemed this had been abandoned for some time. Rena walked at the back looking for any possible need for her illusions.

"Rena, can you take upfront?" Ladybug called back. Rena nodded in response before moving to the front of the three women about to battle evil.

"Queen Bee, I need you to prepare your activation. I can feel we're about to hit something ... or someone."

As they turned the corner Ladybug's abilities were found correct. Sitting in a chair was none other than Nathalie. But where was Amelie? They couldn't do anything unless they managed to steal the object where the amok was hiding.

Walking over to the sentimonster, Ladybug trod carefully. Nathalie looked to be asleep, she looked to be almost dead. Did sentimonsters not breathe? As Ladybug stretched forward, a scream was heard from behind. Amelie had Queen Bee. There was no way for her to escape the vice-like grip she'd been placed in.

"You think you're that smart? You think I'm just going to let you come in and take me without a fight! Do you think I don't know where your other half is right now bug? I hope you said goodbye because you'll never see him again."

A flare ignited in Ladybug's stomach and all she could think about was defeat and conquer. Without wasting a second more she shouted the signal to the other heroines. Thanks to Ladybug's enhanced senses Queen Bee had already activated her power and struck Amelie taking the woman off guard. As she was frozen to the spot Rena created illusions of mirrors surrounding the woman's body and filling the room.

Ladybug stood so she would be reflected in the majority of the mirrors and closed her eyes. She began to think of her love for Adrien, her love for Chat and everything they stood for. Life was simple now, she just needed to step forward and take the necklace from around her neck.

Walking calmly using the mirrors as deflection, she made her way over to Amelie. Stretching up to grab the necklace, she was thrown back, crashing and taking out the mirror illusions. Nathalie stood in front of Ladybug ready to fight. This was going to be harder than she thought.

Meanwhile, Chat Noir and Viperion had set a trap. They needed Set to enter after them and then corner him into one room. The door swung open and Carapace swung himself in. A large cut was slashed across his cheek allowing a red river of blood to exit and slide down his cheek.

"Hide!" He hissed, as Pegasus joined them in the room.

Set opened the door setting foot into Adrien's once lived in prison.

"Shelter." Carapace trapped them all inside his shield. Set, Chat, Viperion and Pegasus. One by one they took the battle, Chat saving himself for last. He was hoping the others could tire him down a little, though this idea seemed far fetched as Viperion was taken down a second time.

"Cataclysm charm!" With the combined miraculous of Hugo, Chat had received a new power. A new staff fell into his hands, each end glowing with the bubbles of his usual clawed cataclysm. It was time for this to end.

Ladybug jumped, flipping herself in the air and away from Nathalie. She'd managed to get a couple of hits, but Nathalie's strength seemed to have multiplied. This wasn't a normal battle and she could already feel the exhaustion. Queen Bee was currently in a deadlock against Nathalie, as Rena was taking on Amelie with six illusions of herself. There needed to be another way. There had to be another way.

"Lucky charm!" As Ladybug threw her yo-yo up into the air, the magical array of pink ladybugs made their way out and around her. They collected themselves together form a Kwagatama and along with it a creature, but not just any creature.

As the butterflies disappeared a tiny kwami fell into Marinette's hands. His eyes opened wide and Marinette recognised who it was.

"Hugo?"

"Maman?"

Before they could speak anymore Nathalie was on them. Hugo flew out of Ladybug's hands and round to the left as Ladybug took the right. She quickly looked around noticing both Rena and Queen Bee were down. Battered and broken. This was it, it was down to her.

Chat Noir began to spin his staff as he advanced towards Set. This was it! It was all coming to an end, he just hoped he came out on top.

Set swung his staff in similar movements to that of Chat, preparing to fall into combat comparable to that of his fencing days. Set went for the first strike putting full force and effort against Chat's staff. Chat Noir used all his might to hold it back, to keep the Egyptian God from getting too close to him.

With a quick thought, Chat pushed back, making God stumble and try to regain his balance. Using this to his advantage Chat sprung back into his counter attack. Attempting to hit Set's staff with the end of his own. There was no doubt about it though, they needed to end him. This time the enemy could not have redemption.

Hugo began to circulate Nathalie, as Amelie continued to send in her requests. It seemed with the other heroes out and Nathalie displaying such strength, she didn't need to attack herself. Ladybug looked around as she dodged the next attack. There was something off with Natalie. Something she couldn't pinpoint. The power she was possessing was advanced for just a sentimonster. There must be something else linked to her.

Dodging again, Hugo managed to create a shield for himself and Ladybug.

"Somethings not right." She announced. She looked at the small Kwami before looking over at Nathalie again. She was currently circulating the shield looking for the weakness to allow her to enter.

Ladybug didn't get nervous often, if at all. She'd been fighting crime for seven years. There was nothing new, except for the abnormal glow around Nathalie's neckerchief.

"Hugo? Can you see something unusual around Nathalie's neck?"

A shock came for the young kwami as he peered to exactly where Ladybug was indicating.

"She's wearing a Lapis Lazuli pendant. We need to get it off her if we want any chance of winning."

Ladybug looked at Hugo confused.

"A Lapis Lazuli pendant?" She queries.

"It represents protection, renewal and resurrection. As long as she's wearing it there's nothing we can do."

"Then that's where the amok is."

"I don't think you'll be able to just break this one free, Maman," Hugo announced as he looked nervously at his mother.

"You're right, there's only one man that can."

Chat felt an unease course through his veins. Ladybug! His Marinette! She needed him. The battle once again would come down to the two of them. Them against the world.

The extra fury at his soulmates struggle caused Chat to take an attack rather than remain on the defence. Before Set knew what was happening Chat's staff struck his turning it to ash.

"No!" The God screamed.

Chat wasn't in a talking mood for a change and placed a foot directly into Set's core. Each strike hit harder, each attack took the God down. As Chat continued to move against Set he noticed his ring was glowing. Not the Miraculous, the Graham de Vanily twin ring.

"Cataclysm!" As Chat sounded for his special power his whole body was engulfed in the black dots he'd come to know. His full body had taken on this unworldly power, the incredible power of destruction seemed to radiate from all his limbs, unlike anything he'd ever felt before. He felt powerful, he felt like he could win. Charging towards Set, who was still down, he used his advantage and went for the hit.

Set rolled just in time, meaning Chat struck and demolished the floor. Going for a second attempt, Chat stepped out and connected his foot with Set's leg, in a matter of seconds, it turned to ash, stopping just at his hip line.

Set's roar was loud! Very loud and Chat managed to step in again kicking his other leg dissolving it to ash. He knew now he was at an advantage. Chat had taken his two legs out, and now following Horus' footsteps from the original fight, it was time to take out his arms. With any hope, this would then send Set back to the underworld and away from humanity.

Flipping up through the air Chat landed behind Set's head.

"Death is just the beginning." With a final placement of his hands, Set began to disintegrate away from this world.

"Plagg, claws in." Adrien released his transformation to give Plagg a rest. He wasn't sure exactly how this would have affected him, he wasn't even sure if it was Plagg's power he had used.

The shield around them dropped as Carapace got to his tired and beaten legs, followed by his other fallen friends.

"Epic battle, Agreste!" Viperion was first to speak. "Hurry and recharge Plagg, we need to find the girls."

"Got to admit Adrien, you are pretty kick-ass as Chat Noir, though the Mummy quote? Not too sure about that one." Carapace slipped a piece of Camembert to Plagg which he swallowed in one.

"That power was nothing I've ever felt before. I always knew you were a special one, kid. Oblivious, and sometimes an idiot, but special." The Kwagatama began to glow around Adrien's neck causing all the heroes to stop and stare.

"It's a sign," Adrien spoke out his thoughts, "we need to get to Marinette."

"Plagg claws out!"

Ladybug had done everything she could to keep the battle commencing, she was broken, beaten and in need of that vacation Adrien had promised, as long as she could get out of this mess alive.

"Give it up Ladybug. You're down and your out. Just give me your Miraculous and we can call it quits before you die." Emilie had Nathalie holding the superheroine down in her grip. She was strong, immensely strong.

"I don't think you understand how stubborn I am." Ladybug shouted back. As she looked up she noticed something swinging above her head. The Lapis Lazuli pendant. If she could just get slightly free she could reach it and pull it off. It was so so close.

Ladybug attempted to get Hugo's attention. Unfortunately, he had ideas of his own, to get the necklace holding the original amok. The one around Emilie's neck.

"Bug, you need to watch what you say with that pretty little mouth of yours." Emilie advanced on Ladybug as Nathalie continued to hold her still. Ladybug wouldn't give the satisfaction of blinking or looking away. Only one thing was on her mind and that was to show she wasn't intimidated. It was her job to save people, it was her job to put her life on the line to succeed and succeed she would. Emilie continued talking as she bent down to Ladybug's eye line.

"You wouldn't want to be a bug that got squished now, would you!"

As Emilie spoke Ladybug noticed something in the corner of her eye. Something that made her heart soar. He was here. He was alive, and he looked incredibly powerful. Ladybug noticed the surrounding black dots around Chat Noir's body. A power upgrade. She smiled to herself as she looked into his eyes, before turning back to Emilie's.

"Game over." She announced before pushing back into Nathalie with all her might and striking Emilie in the ribs with both feet. As Emilie stumbled back Viperion and Carapace held her still, whilst Pegasus' began to prepare his portal.

Hugo lunged for Emilie's necklace as Ladybug grabbed hold of Nathalie's and flipped over her head, pulling it from her neck and sending it over to Chat Noir.

"Cataclysm it!" She shouted as she skidded backwards on the floor from her landing. Chat grabbed the Lapis Lazuli pendant and it disappeared into thin air. Now it was fair game. Breathing in a deep breath Ladybug placed her hands forward and the little bugs appeared floating around Nathalie's body.

"Papa! I need help!" Hugo was wrestling with Emilie for the pendant containing the amok. Soon Chat had it in his hands and pushed Emilie towards Pegasus.

"Police station now!" Chat announced as the portal opened for the two of them.

"Break it, Adrien!" Ladybug shouted out, knowing that everyone in the room knew their identities.

The bugs continued to leave her hands, hitting Nathalie and holding her back. For every step forward she was pushed two back.

Chat Noir's cataclysm broke the second charm, sending Nathalie to the floor and allowing the second amok feather to run free.

"Time to de-evilise." It was painful, all Ladybug could feel was the pain. She had never been this affected by battle before and she prayed her Miraculous ladybugs could heal her. As the amok's turned white and floated away, she began to collapse to the floor.

"Wow there M'Lady. You falling for me again!" She chuckled as she buried her head into her partner's chest.

"So that vacation?"

"We'll leave tomorrow." He laughed as he kissed her forehead.

The two looked around the room seeing the heroes comforting each other. Each with their partner, and their soulmate. As a portal opened again Pegasus arrived with King Monkey. Within seconds they were all on the floor supporting each other.

"Well, that was interesting for a weekend." King Monkey spoke first and everyone laughed.

"Maman, Papa, there's one thing you need to do. You need to allow me to create what was lost." With tears in both their eyes; Ladybug and Chat Noir said their goodbyes to their kwami. So much had been lost, that hopefully from their sacrifices, new hope could be gained. Each kissed the small creature on the cheek before Ladybug attempted to stand up on her broken and injured legs.

"Miraculous Ladybug!"

Hugo flew into the sky and bust into a million ladybugs, flying around the city and the heroes. Each cut becoming flesh, each break becoming mended.

"I didn't think it would work." Ladybug spoke in shock.

"It must be because of finally capturing the two." Chat replied.

"Plagg, claws in."

"Tikki spots off."

As everyone began to detransform they collapsed onto the floor in tales of battles and woes.

"Your Kwagatama is glowing," Marinette said as she snuggled closer to her partner, determined never to let go.

"As is yours, Princess." They grabbed hold of the Kwagatama's and connected them, suddenly it exploded into an array of black and red swirls. The swirls circulated the room surrounding all their friends before heading back to Marinette.

"Oh my! Mari! Your stomach." Alya stared in shock as the swirl ended connecting with Marinette.

Marinette's stomach began to grow. It was perfectly round and perfectly bump-like.

"Adrien? How do you feel about being a father?"

The room broke into cheers as Adrien scooped up his lady, taking her lips in a ferocious kiss.

"I love you so much, Mari."

"I love you more, Chaton."
