Chapter Thirteen

Adrien settled on the sofa and began to flick through Netflix. He had a tough decision to make. How much should he scare her? Obviously the more scary the film the bigger the make out session, and a lot of the time it would advance to more mature things just so Marinette didn't have to watch the film. He smiled to himself at past memories. 'IT' was definitely one of his all time favourites.

He wanted her so much. At the moment she was standing in his kitchen wearing just her pink panties and his white work shirt. It was taking all of his resolve to not walk over to her, slam her on the kitchen counter and remove those damn pretty panties.

He looked over to where she stood making the popcorn and drinks, hair down and flowing over her shoulders. She looked up from what she was doing and her eyes met his. They smiled at each other not needing to say a word. She looked away shyly, keeping her smile firmly placed on her lips.

She finished off their drinks whilst thinking about the blonde model sitting on the sofa looking at her with so much love she thought her heart would explode. What had she put him through? She'd basically ignored him for months, she'd jeopardised everything with him yet he'd stuck with her. Doing whatever he could to protect her and her parents. He really was too good to be true.

Thinking over the past month the amount of time she'd been spending with Chat made sense. He was always worried about her asking her a million questions about how she was doing; he'd also wanted almost daily patrols, which they hadn't done since their official Hawk Moth days.

Marinette finished off the popcorn and emptied it into a big bowl. She remembered she'd brought the bowl as an apology to the boys after she decided to play cheese catch with Plagg. It was all going well until Plagg crashed into the bowl and smashed it on the floor. She wasn't sure if the boys were more angry at her smashing the bowl or for waking them up after an infamous Kim poker night. She giggled as she carried the bowl over, remembering what she had to do to apologise to Adrien.

"What you giggling at?" He asked as she placed the bowl down.

"I was just thinking about this bowl." She winked at him before walking back to get their drinks.

Adrien sat in silence for a moment going through his memories before breaking in a enormous Chat grin. That had been a great night. It had involved her yo-yo, his belt and an apology to the Mayor the morning after.

Marinette set the drinks down on the table next to the popcorn. Adrien saw this as a worth while opportunity. He slid his hands up her thighs as she bent over before they placed on her hips. With a gentle tug she landed in his lap and he began to trace her neckline with his lips.

"You taste so sweet, mon amour." Giggling she slapped his hands away before standing up and moving to sit next to him. She smiled as she grabbed a piece and popcorn and placed it on her tongue. She sucked it into her mouth and let out a little groan. She was playing him and he knew this wasn't going to end well.

"What's the game, Bugaboo?"

"Best of three matches, Mecha Strike III-"

"Ooooo going old school are we?" He rested his left ankle on his right knee as his right arm moved onto the back of the couch.

"You win, I'll take my clothes off and will be naked for the rest of the night." He bent forward and kissed her on the lips.

"And if you win?" He asked.

"I finally get to see you wearing a dress." He burst out laughing. Before placing his hand out to shake on it.

"This time," she stood up and looked over her shoulder, "I will win." She strolled over to the television and pulled out the remote controls underneath in the cupboard. She made sure when she bent over it distracted Adrien enough that she would have a head start.

When the couple played Mecha Strike they never played fair. Both had crazy gaming skills, one of their many similarities, however Marinette was a champion and a very tough opponent. Max refused to play her anymore due to her constant annihilation of his characters. Including those he'd built himself and input into the game. Adrien was the only one who could beat her but he usually had to result to dirty tricks.

She walked back and swore she could see him drooling. He didn't take his eyes off her and she never felt so alive. This was what was missing when she came out of hospital. This is what she felt that night at his birthday.

His birthday?

"Adrien?" She asked as she handed him his personalised controller.

"Yeah?" He began pressing buttons to load up the game.

"You know your party?"

"I do." He looked at her and wiggled his eyebrows. She laughed as she sat down, and gave him a shove with her elbow. He flopped sideways on the couch before springing back up and wrapping his arms around her waist. She turned in his arms to face him.

"I remembered, didn't I?" He nodded slowly.  He loved and hated his birthday this year so much.

"Tikki thinks the alcohol lowered your defences to a level that you could regain some of your memories from the Kwagatama. Though there's still no real answer for it. They should never have been able to return." She nodded.

"I'm going to throw a wild guess out here ... just because of how everything else has worked out. You risked your life again that night didn't you?" She placed her legs over his and he positioned a hand on her thigh to keep them there. He was desperate for as much skin to skin contact as possible.

"Yep, but as Adrien."

"The power of love. Our Miraculous' are obsessed with love and romance. I understand about the whole meant to be thing now. Honestly Adrien, we're a living a real life  fairytale." He laughed as he leant forward and placed a kiss on her forehead.

"I couldn't agree more Princess. Who knew Plagg was linked to something so romantic? He's like the anti-love."

Suddenly a voice appeared out of no where.

"I may not be in the room with you two, but I can still hear you." Adrien and Marinette laughed before leaning in and meeting their lips together, as the kiss became more heated Marinette's phone started to ring. Groaning she stood up and walked to where her phone was drying out on the kitchen work top. She's lucky it hadn't completely broke from their tumble in the snow.

"It's Alya." She said out loud. She really did not want to answer it, but she had no choice. She knew Alya wouldn't give up, she'd suddenly become quite possessive of Marinette and what Marinette was doing. She had a slight fear that Alya had added a location link to her phone just to keep track of her.

Adrien stood up and walked over to Marinette placing a supportive hand on her shoulder. How were they going to get out of this mess? From what Nino had told him Alya had a tracker on Marinette's phone to make sure she was safe. He wasn't sure whether this was information Marinette knew or Alya was keeping secret.

"Hey Al."

Marinette, why does my phone say you're in Adrien's building?

"Because I am." So she did have a tracker.

I hope you're not with him Mari, we're with Lila at the moment and you won't believe some of the stories we're hearing about Adrien. Especially when they were on shoots together.

"I thought she said it was only one time." She looked at Adrien and rolled her eyes. Lila was up to her old games again. He wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a quick brief kiss on the neck.

What? She never said that.

Yes she did, Marinette thought. Her phone began to vibrate, Alya wanted to FaceTime. Adrien directed Marinette so her back was against the window. That could be any floor in this building. He then had the most crazy idea possible. He ran into the hall and towards where Plagg and the others were.

"Mari, answer the FaceTime." He called back before opening the kwami's door and summoning Plagg into his ring. By the time he made it back Alya was ranting about it being Adrien's apartment, that was until a black cat made his way onto the screen.

What? Chat Noir? What are you doing in Adrien's apartment?

"Who's Adrien?" He responded. Then he placed his face into one of shock. "Ooooo the dude who lives in the penthouse."

So you're not in his apartment?

"No, we're in my friends studio apartment. They're stuck out of town for the week because of the snow, and with what happening at Mari's work I needed to get her somewhere safe. I hear the security here is the cat's pyjamas." He winked at the camera and Marinette let out a giggle. He really was a dork.

Ok, well keep safe you two. Chat Noir I trust you.

"Nothing will happen to my little lady. I'm growing quite fond of her company. Anyway, lovely talking to you, Alya is it? But my beautiful bug will be here soon and we've got a job to do. Don't worry though, Marinette will be protected at all costs."

Marinette turned the phone off and looked at him.

"What?" He asked.

"Well if she speaks to Kim then she'll know Chat Noir isn't actually in the same building looking after me but I am actually with Adrien in the one place she'd send the mafia too, and have you castrated." Marinette let out a deep breath. She'd said the whole sentence fast and without breathing and now felt slightly dizzy. She leant back against his floor to ceiling window.

"Shit! I'll fix it." He said as he released Plagg.

"Cheese! NOW!"

"Wow, you're grumpy!" Adrien replied pulling out his phone.

"I was so close to getting Sugarcube to kiss me and then you steal me like some crazy assed man."

Marinette and Adrien looked at each before the laughter overtook them. Neither felt like they'd laughed this much in months, and to be honest they hadn't. There was something so magical being with each other.

"I'll go and talk to Kim. You get the game ready." He went to walk away when he stopped and grabbed Marinette's arm, spinning her around to face him. "Don't you dare take the batteries out of my controller again."

"Would I ever?" She started to laugh as he pouted at her walking away.

Marinette watched him go and crossed her arms over her chest. There's no way she was going to let him win. Since they'd been dating he'd been getting better and better, which meant she'd had to pull out more competitive approaches.

She turned to face outside. How could she make sure she won? It was about time she saw him in the dress she'd made for him. It was hung up all pretty in the wardrobe just waiting. Waiting for the moment when she'd beaten him. She smiled to herself as an idea flooded into her head. It was time to play dirty. She walked over to the sofa and checked that Adrien wasn't about to walk back in. Sliding off her panties she grabbed the throw and covered her bottom half with the blanket. There's no way he'd beat her if she offered him and open invitation. She let out a chuckle to herself and loaded the game.

"Kim's covering for us, with the help of your parents." Adrien came back into the room and sat next to her on the sofa. "Ready to get your pretty little ass kicked?"

"In your dreams Agreste. I've got moves you don't even know about."

They loaded the game and began to play. Of course, Marinette had practised a lot over the past few months. She had nothing else to do. Without much resistance she took the first win.

"Boo yah! Round one to the Bug."

"Did I ever tell you what a shit name you came up with by the way?"

"Ooooo who's getting angry now? Mr Black Cat."

He glared at her. It was time for full competitive mode. He stood up to rearrange his trousers, pulling them lower on his hips. His 'V' line was so sharp it could cut through metal and she was finding it increasingly difficult to not reach out and touch them.

"Does Ms. Ladybug like what she see's? Seems you can't remember how to block me out your thoughts." He sat back down next to her before swinging a leg over her head and slotting in behind her. He moved his arms so they were infront of her, next to her controller. "Ready for round two love bug?"

Marinette seemed to have forgotten how to talk ... and move. As Adrien started the game she didn't do anything. All she could think about was Adrien's hard chest behind her and how she could feel his wants and needs through the thin layer of clothing separating the two of them. A few punches and kicks later, the game was over. A complete knockout.

"We said no cheating." Marinette whispered, leaning back into Adrien. He kissed her neck making her groan.

"I don't know what you mean Princess. I only wanted to sit more comfortable." A growl came out of her throat. That was it, last game and it was time to play dirty.

"You're going to regret that model boy." Pressing play again they were off. Marinette was focusing through the kisses and licks he was laying on her neck. It was close, too close for her liking so it was time to pull out the big guns.

She stood up dropping the throw on the floor. Without turning around she sent the last strikes at his character knocking it out cold. She started jumping up and down, before turning around and climbing on his lap. He still sat there stunned.

"I can't - I - I - you ..."

"What's wrong kitty?" She moved his hands onto her ass. "Cat got your tongue?" She leaned forward and kissed him deeply. He squeezed her ass and tilted his head to kiss her deeper.

Pulling herself away from him, eyes still closed she let out a content sigh.

"Now put that dress on pretty boy."
