"Ali," said Grell. "Ever since this evening when we met, I have felt this...oh so strong connection to you. Will you, be my little shinigami girlfriend? We can go reap souls together, go to our favorite coffee shops, and just have so much fun together!"

I smiled shyly and took his hands.

"I thought you'd never ask."

For the rest of the night, we walked around together, holding hands. I couldn't remember much after that, but by midnight, we were home, so I think he carried me, how sweet.

"Hey, sleepy head," Grell whispered.

"Grell? We're home?"

He nodded and replied, "Yep. While you were asleep, I went and got my stuff. I live with you now!"

I smiled sleepily.

"We should get to bed, we have souls to collect tomorrow! "

He held me close all night and wouldn't let me go. I loved that.
