Just another Larry AU where Harry and Louis are utterly, madly, truly, deeply, completely, actually, seriously, really in love with eachother, the only problem is that they are british soldiers in the 18th century in an extremely homophobic society with no choice but to hide their love.

And if these problems weren't enough they are yet again, during the end of Uruguayan Civil War, faced with obstacle of Death when their ship, HMS Birkenhead, which was supposedly unsinkable strucks an undiscovered rock near the shore of Cape Town, Africa, repeatedly and breaks into two pieces.

This will be a short story which is entirely based on the incident of HMS Birkenhead on 25th Feb. 1851 being struck with a rock twice breaks into two pieces and sinks into the deep oceans near the shore of Cape Town, Africa with 630 people aboard of which 170 are women and children and only the capacity of 180 people to be saved with the help of Life boats.

No it will not be like Titanic or anything similar to that. It's purely a dedication towards the 436 soldiers that died that faithful night. It'll show the act of true bravery, heroism and patriotism.

And Incase you didn't know, the quote of;
"Women and Children first"
Actually came into being due to this incident and was practiced upon after it by each and every navymen and The Birkenhead Drill was made a part of every navymen's training.

Also a great part of this is purely fiction and is pre-written. It doesn't entirely define the whole historical occurrence so if you know any part of this which I've written is not what happened, don't bother to let me know because I already do know and I decided to write that to fit the whole story better.
