Chapter 13 - A gentleman in public
Lisa's POV
When I woke up, Zack laid on his stomach asleep. I looked up and noticed that it was still dark outside.
I got up and put on my satin robe. I walked towards the window. The stars were shining in the sky, reflecting on the dark surface of the Aegean sea.
"Lisa," Zack murmured with a sleepy and husky voice. I turned around. He got up and moved closer to me. He wrapped his arms around me and asked, "Are you okay?" I nodded. He kissed my lips.
When I woke up in the morning, Zack wasn’t in bed. I heard the water running from the bathroom. I stretched and got up. I put on my robe.
The door opened, and Zack walked in. I smiled at him.
He approached me and kissed my lips. "Good morning. Did you sleep well?" he asked, smirking.
I hugged him, placing my head against his wet bare chest. "Morning. Very well."
He kissed my hair. "Yannis is on the way."
"Okay. I’m going to take a shower," I murmured.
After taking a shower, I dried my hair. I wore a white top and a pair of black jeans.
I went into the living room. Zack was sitting on the stairs, waiting for me. He was wearing a black T-shirt and a pair of black suit pants.
I noticed that he was thinking. "Zack," I called him.
He looked at me. "You’re ready."
"Yes."
"Let's go then. Yannis already put our suitcases in the car." He got up and walked closer to me. He held my hand.
I watched as Santorini became farther away from us on the yacht. I was sad. I didn’t want to go back.
Zack was on the phone. The police had confirmed that it was arson. Zack tried not to show me that he was worried.
After the incident, Yannis came to Santorini. He went with us everywhere we did. I was worried about Zack's safety.
"Are you cold?" Zack asked as he walked closer to me and trailed his hands on my arms up and down.
I hadn’t noticed that I had my arms wrapped around me tightly. "No, I’m not." I leaned against his chest. "Is everything alright?" I asked.
"Yes."
When I asked if everything was alright, he always answered with short answers and changed the subject. Of course. It was normal. We weren't in a serious relationship. What was I expecting? That he would tell me about his problems? Of course, not.
You’re the woman who he spent his time with, that was all. Nothing more. And it’s over.
Suddenly, I felt dizzy. Thank God, Zack was hugging me. Otherwise, I would have collapsed.
"I need to sit down."
He pulled back a little without removing his arms around me and asked, "Do you feel sick? You look pale."
"I’m fine. Don’t worry."
The look he gave me told me that he didn't believe me. But he didn’t say anything and helped me to sit down.
He told one of the crew members to bring me a glass of water.
A few seconds later, I felt better. Zack was next to me, holding my hand. He looked at me, concerned.
His phone rang. "Fuck!" he hissed and picked up his phone. He snapped something in Greek. He pulled away from the phone from his ear and asked me, "Are you okay now?" I nodded.
He went inside to talk on the phone. I looked at the waves of the sea instead of going back to my thoughts.
After a few minutes, he came back. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. He was thinking about something. Yannis came towards us, holding Zack's phone.
"Who?"
"Mr. Petropoulos is calling." Zack took his phone and walked away.
What was going on? His phone hadn’t stopped ringing today.
A few minutes later, Zack came back. "Zack, what is going on?" I asked him.
"We have some new information about the arson. Dad wants me to go to Athens."
"Oh."
We had decided that we were going to New York together, but in this situation, it was impossible.
The yacht moved closer to the marina. We got off. His car was waiting for us. There was another car, too. There were four security guards as well.
We got in Zack's car. His private jet was waiting for us. We went to the airport. We got out of the car. Zack held my hand.
When he was getting in the jet, I stopped him. "You don’t need to get on. Let's say our goodbyes here."
"You won’t allow me to get on my jet?" he asked. He had an amused smile on his face.
"No, that's not what I meant. You should go to the holding. Your father is waiting for you."
"No, Ms. Phillips. He's not waiting for me. I told him that I needed to go to New York urgently."
"You’re flying with me?" I asked, surprised.
"Yes, I am."
"You know you don’t have to."
"I know, but I brought you here. I will also take you back. Don’t forget that I am a gentleman in public and a master in the bed," he said and winked at me with an arrogant smile. I smiled.
"I’m not sure about the first part," I teased him. "But I do agree with you about the second part." He raised an eyebrow.
"I’m glad that I have proved the second part," he said, arrogantly. "I will prove the first part, too." I smiled at him. "Come on." We got on the jet.
Yannis and two security guards got on the jet with us. Zack worked on his laptop. I was tired and went to rest.
When I opened my eyes, Zack was beside me. He had his arm wrapped around me while he slept peacefully.

Once the jet landed, we got off. A car was waiting for us. We got in the car.
The car stopped near our mansion.
Yannis got out of the car, leaving Zack and me alone together.
"It was the most beautiful weeks of my life. I will miss you," I said sadly.
"It was for me, too. I will miss you, too." He hugged me. I hugged him back. He pulled back and kissed my lips passionately. He pulled back and leaned his forehead against mine. "Goodbye, gynaika mou."
"Goodbye," I murmured and got out of the car. He got out of the car, too.
Yannis gave me my suitcase. I waved at Zack and went to the mansion. Tears dripped from my eyes. I would miss you, my Greek boy.
