It's the day of the Kiki's baby shower, quite frankly I'm on edge and concerned. Just last night Aphmau, Laurence, Dante, myself, and all the villagers experienced in magic had a meeting about some mysterious amulet that was created from the inactive pendants we had, and Aphmau and I had planned on having the amulet hidden away for safe measures. But I digress, I'm at Aphmau's home and I'm hoping that she'll let me escort her to the baby shower, after all I don't want the woman I love and protect to be in harm's way. I knock on the door, waiting for Aphmau.

Aphmau opened the door, she had her usual look, she had on her beautiful purple dress she got from Pikoro village, her long black hair was down, and she was wearing her pink flower crown as well, but the best part was that kind, caring smile she greeted people with. Aphmau said "Garroth! Heh, I've been getting use to you coming to my door step." she smiles, I reply "Lady Aphmau, may I escort you to the baby shower?" Aphmau replies "Garroth I can walk there myself, it's fine." I reply "I know, but after hearing what was said at the meeting last night, myself, and the other guards can't risk the safety of you and everyone. I've already escorted Levin, Malachi, and Zoey there. So may I please escort you? To put my mind at ease?" Aphmau replied "Alright Garroth...you may, I've got everything so let's go." Aphmau closed the door behind her and we started down the path. We both walked in silence, but Aphmau and I had made it to the barn, Nicole and Laurence were waiting outside. After talking with Aphmau a bit she went over to Laurence and they were talking like they normally do, which is Laurence flirting with Aphmau. I gritted my teeth a bit because of Laurence but I let out a sigh, I wish I had the kind of bond with Aphmau, where we could talk without Village matters coming into conversation. As I was thinking I heard Aphmau say "I guess I just really have so much going on I don't worry about love right now." After Aphmau said that to Nicole and left to the party. I looked down at the ground, Laurence went to the plaza and I stayed by the barn.

As I was patrolling I saw someone in the trees, the person didn't notice me. What if this was the man that had taken that amulet? Was he looking for the one we had? If so...I'm not letting him get it, and I'm not going to let him hurt those I love! I dashed over to meet the person, they saw me and made a mad dash through the trees. I was on their tail, but it was hard to keep up, this man is so swift and agile! Eventually the man made a prompt jump over some of the unfinished wall, that's how he must've got in. I sighed and kept chasing him.

I rounded a large tree and lost that masked man in the dark oak forest, I sighed, as I walked all I saw were the trees, flowers, bugs, and a very loud goat. I walked around and found a clearing...but what I saw in the clearing was unbelievable...Aphmau and Laurence were kissing in front of me...they were embracing each other...They didn't see me. I stumbled backwards and ran off, farther into the woods. I stopped at a tree that practically hid me, I tossed my sword aside, I could feel my heartbreaking, my trust shattered...Aphmau said she wasn't thinking about love, she lied. Laurence knew I LOVED her...He blatantly ignored me...I put my head in my hands, I've never felt more betrayed...The woman I loved, and a man I called a brother...had fallen in love behind my back...I picked my sword up, I saw my reflection in it. I had tears staining my face, sorrow written all over me. I sat there for a couple minutes, still looking at the sword. I closed my eyes, and opened them. I had a stern, emotionless look, my heart still felt broken and I felt back stabbed. It was so painful to act like I felt nothing. I got up and started to walk farther into the forest, just to think a bit more before I head back...
