"Can we talk?"

No.

"I know I shouldn't ask..." He stops briefly. My arms tighten on my chest, turning my head away.

You really shouldn't.

"But please let me explain then I will leave." He tries to search for my gaze. "I promise you. I will."

From my peripheral vision I catch the members looking curiously at us, wondering what we're talking about seriously. I breath out against the mask.

"Fine..." I said reluctantly.

I move towards the door, wrapping my fingers around the hand and pulling it open to the hallway. I walk a few steps down the hall from the door.

"Thank you by the way." Yuri shouts out.

"No problem. Anything for Taeyeon's friends." He said before I hear the door click shut.

Minjae follows my steps until I stop at the corner of another hallway. I turn to him, "We're here. You can talk now."

"I'm sorry." He started, his orbs downcasted. Neither one of us said anything.

"I hurt you..." He quietly said. I feel tears welling up in my eyes. You hurt me in more ways than one.

"Taeyeon, I didn't mean to do that to you. I said and did things I didn't mean and lashed out on you."

He shakes his head, "I regret everything."

Minjae shifts his eyes up to stare into mine, "I let the thought of you being able to have any man you want get the best of me."

"Min-"

"I lost my job." He cut me off. I fell silent once again.

"I should've told you earlier but I couldn't. I was worried that once you knew that you wouldn't want to be with me anymore." Is this why he was stressed? Acting different the last couple of weeks?

"It was a foolish thought when I should believe in that you will be there for me through the bad and good. For better or worse." There is a soft smile on his lips similar to the one he had when we said our vows. The nostalgia fills my heart. This is the Minjae I missed, that I wanted back.

He takes a hold of my hand that was by my side. "Can you ever forgive me?" I shift my eyes from him to our hands.

"Everyone makes mistakes, right?" I slowly nodded. His smile widens at the ends.

"Thank you. I promise you I won't ever let myself lose control again." He engulfs my entire body into an embrace.

He kissed the top of my head. "I love you to the Moon and back. There isn't anybody but you for me."

Him holding me in his arms brought back a feeling I missed.

Everything will be back to normal again. It will. 

I rise my hands up to lay to rest on his back, hugging him back. He nuzzles his nose in my hair.

I close my eyes. 

It has to. 

Despite herself there was a part of Taeyeon's heart that couldn't deny that all these words seem to be something she has heard before.

  He managed to somehow convince Taeyeon into somewhat forgiving him. At first she was resist than he slowly got her defense down. Let's see what is in store for this couple cause it isn't the end just yet. Thanks for reading this update until the next update.
