Author's POV:

Dhriti stormed out of the royal courtroom and was walking aimlessly in the palace corridors.

Dhriti was happy at least as the Kala Pradharshan went better than what she had planned. She was happy that Karn at least got a chance to prove himself and she was a part of it. She was able to help her eldest brother. Though the competition was stopped as they both using divine weapons would cause destruction, Guru Dron had to accept that Arjun is not the only bravest warrior. He found Karn equally worthy.

Dhriti soon reached the Palace gardens which she found beautiful and peaceful as she came here first with her Kanha. She was twirling around, thinking of her days back in kaliyug where she would never be so free. She remembered how even after having a holiday it didn't feel like a holiday as she had to always Study or practice. And the time when she used to be free was all reserved for her two best friends. As she was in deep thoughts she did not pay attention to the one who was calling her from behind. Giving up the person took long strides to reach her .

As he approached her, he saw her in deep thoughts so he called out once again, "Rajkumari Arunika" . This brought Dhriti out of her riverine. She shook her head and focused on the man before her. No doubt he was the son of Surya dev. His face shone brighter than what she saw in the morning during kalapradharshan. " Pranipat Radheya Karn. Kya sahayata kar sakte hai hum aapki"
( Greetings son of Radhey, what help could I be to you )

" Pranipat Rajkumari. I just wished to thank you for your support towards me today. I don't know what would have happened if it was not you and Mitr Duryodhan there" he said

Dhriti's POV:

"Pranipat Rajkumari. I just wished to thank you for your support towards me today. I don't know what would have happened if it was not you and Mitr Duryodhan there" as he said those words I knew what was coming. I know someway or the other those mama- bhanje would try to enslave him after all he is the only one who could be equal to Parth. But I won't let him easily flow because of his emotions.

"Oh I forgot to mention, congratulations on your coronation as the king of Anga , Angraj. And about thanking me, then you don't have to as I wish to stand by righteous and also wish my brothers walk in the path of Dharma" I said. Obviously he doesn't know that I also mean it towards him. I could feel he was hesitating to say something.

"I hope you won't mind taking a stroll with me Ang Naresh" I asked and continued walking

"No- no Rajkumari. It would be my pleasure"

" So tell me sutputra, what do you think of dharma and adharma? " I intentionally said sutputra because I want him to realize a few things. I could see he was hurt by my choice of words. I don't want to insult him.

"Well, everyone has their own definition for Dharma. For me it has always been to follow what is right. One's Dharma should liberate them and not bound them. It should not stop them from doing their deeds. One should not always blindly follow Dharma and sometimes a small adharm is bound to happen for Dharma to reign over, Rajkumari." Karn said.

I was literally doing a happy dance on my head as he understood the correct meaning of Dharma. But I put on a blank face as if analysing his words infront of him. Years of studying psychology has helped me in reading one's mind. It looked like he was thinking if what he said was right?

"You are absolutely correct Angraj. And also please call me Arunika or Dhriti. Whatever you may please as you're much older to me and also like my brother and you have earned it" I told 

He hesitated at first but gave up at my firm stare "Jaisi aapki aagya, Raj- Arunika"

 " Well, what do you think would have happened if your father was not a soota or if you were born in a kshatriya clan" I was curious now.

"Hmm.. I- I don't know raj- Arunika. Maybe I would have been permitted to learn and may be I would have not been restricted because of my caste" he said hesitating.

" Well then Radheya,if you consider from my point of view, you would  have not met Radha kaki and Adhirat kakashree. You would have learnt from Guru Drona but would you have met Bhagwan Parshuram? No right! You wouldn't have the thirst for justice and equality. You may have behaved the same way as other Kshatriyas who are arrogant. You may have not. But who knows what would have happened.

There may come many times when you would question yourself for being born a sut. But always remember that because you were born as Sut to Radha kaki and Adhirat kakashree, you were able to get their immense love. You were able to learn from Bhagwan Parshuram, who is also the teacher of Dronacharya. You were able to be what you are today. Never question yourself because of other's thinking.

 Never think low of yourself because you belong to a Sut family. Because, your father has worked as a charioteer to earn for his family. It was his hard earned money which fed your family. So always be grateful to that" I said in a single breath. He seemed to think about my words.

"You are right Rajkumari. I would have missed all this if I would have been a kshatriya. I will always remember your sayings " He said after a while with a smile on his face.

"Accha, we have discussed a lot on all these serious issues. Now tell me more about yourself bhrata Shree."

"Bhrata Shree?"

" Yes, now see you are elder to me plus you are like my brother so I would obviously call you bhrata shree. I can call you that right? " I asked with light pout. He looked amused.

"Well obviously you can call me that, but I hope your brothers are not offended"

"Then it is done bhrata shree, and don't worry my brothers won't say anything cause they know it's my life, my rules"

After a little more chit chat even my mood calmed down. I promised him to meet tomorrow at the same place. And then I left to the common chamber of Pandavas.

Author's POV:

She entered the chamber and found all the pandavas present there discussing something. She looked at Yudhisthir , he gave her a smile and slight nod.

She did Pranipat to everyone  and took her seat with them when Bheem asked her" Parthvi ( sister of Parth) why did you support that Soota? You also insulted Gurudev"

Dhriti was trying her to keep her calm, she said " Bhrata I did not take anyone's side, I only stood with the righteousness and neither did I insult Aacharya Dron as I simply questioned him, and I believe that only if we question, we could reach answers."

"But he is the friend of Duryodhan, he can't be good" Bheem said

"Just because he is Bhrata Duryodhan's friend does not make him evil. If being related to one makes the other like them then we all are evil. Afterall bhratashree we all are his cousins and that to by blood. " Dhriti said and Bheem was flustered she then added, " Bhrata Duryodhan is  not so bad, he loves you the most bhratashree" Bheem looked wide eyed

"Jiji you just returned yesterday, how can you be sure of him, moreover we have been here for so many years and have also seen their deeds. You are just too innocent jiji that's why you are taking his side" Nakul spoke

"My dear Kul, true that I was away from aryavart, true that I didn't know that of all people the kurus are my family but I for sure knew about the happenings of Aryavart. You all say that Dury bhaiya is bad because he poisoned Bhrata Bheem when they were 10" Dhriti said and they gaped at her

"How do you know that ?" Parth questioned

"Well didn't I just say that I knew what was happening here all these years. " I also know what's gonna happen and I intend to work hard to change it- She wanted to add but bit herself

"Has anyone wondered how did Dury bhaiya even managed to get the poison as it is very much visible that a 10 year old can't be going around the palace, throwing tantrums and Boom! He has the poison. Obviously someone gave it to him. Has anyone wondered what made a 10 year old to even take such a step? Was he even aware of the kheer (a Indian rice pudding) being poisonous"

All were looking intently at her. "But he still behaves coldly towards us. Even in gurukul he used to hate us" Bheem said

"Well then Bhratashree, I will say you something . Hmm... Imagine yourself in the shoes of Dury Bhaiya, before the Pandavas return, he and his brothers used to get at least some attention from the elders. But suddenly after the entry of Pandavas who were also Devputras, people started ignoring them and cherishing  the pandavas. He was insecure as a child. Tatshree and Mata Gandhari were busy with their duties and making you all comfortable. He was left alone and he was the eldest he also had to take care of his other brothers. And at such time when Gandhar Naresh entered he solely depended on him. Now what was his fault" Dhriti was trying her level best to change their views towards each other

Unknown to them someone was listening to their conversation who came to inform Dhriti that Gandhari had wished to meet her. But he stopped when he heard Dhriti defending Duryodhan. He couldn't believe someone could understand Duryodhan so well. He had his eyes filled with unshed tears. He then returned from the chamber without doing what he actually came for.

The Pandavas where shocked to hear this side of story and hence they couldn't respond for sometime. Soon a dasi entered saying that Gandhari called Dhriti and Arjun while all others are called for Dinner. All Pandavas dispersed. 

While Dhriti and Arjun were walking, they crossed paths with Subhadra who had arrived in the morning for Kala Pradharshan. They both stopped and greeted her.

Dhriti's POV:

Finally I met Subhadra. I know that she would the queen of Parth's heart. Haaye the love birds are already in the own world. My time to interrupt also came. Gosh! I can't wait to tease them. 

"Ahm- Ahm" I fake cleared my throat. The love birds are now out of their world. I could see blood flowing towards their cheeks. It's my turn to smirk. I was laughing internally at their reaction.

"Rajkumari Subhadhra, I'm happy to have finally met you. You know Kanha always speaks about you. Since I returned yesterday, I asked him about Dwarka and he was busy praising you and Dau"  Well, that is not totally a lie. You see I know, he had praised her in front of Parth and I heard it. So its not entirely lie. 

After I said that, her attention was solely on me. I don't why but after seeing me, she lost all shyness and her eyes turned teary. It felt like she was seeing me after long. It was showing  different emotions. Soon a dasi came and said Madhav has called her urgently. She nodded and turned to leave while her eyes were still looking at me with teary eyes. Parth nudged me with a confused look and I shook my head.

I don't know what was that but obviously she was Devi Yogmaya, so she also won't reveal anything if I would ask her. Also it could be my misconception. Right now, the thing that is important is to tease my twin. Haha... I'll enjoy to my fullest. 

So I started "Parth, I was thinking  that Subhadra is very beautifully. Oh Kanha must be very busy keeping the eyes of so many people right?" I asked with a smirk and he gave me a irritated look.

"Ya she is very pretty" he said and blushed. Oh my my this guy could even blush. Sooo cutee

"I heard she is a brilliant mace fighter"

"Yes, I wish I could see her wieldthe weapon"

"She must be looking very fiery right"

"Yaa but she would look cute too" after he said this he realized what was happening and glared at Dhriti

"Paarthvi, this is wrong"

"What is wrong Parth? I was toh just praising her. Why you don't agree with me Parth? But sometime ago, you were complimenting her" I said with the most innocent look

"What-I -I ...huff... " he huffed and grumbled and I laughed out not able to control anymore,

"Parth I- haha  - should talk to Mata about haha your wedding soon haha "I said and ran away holding the edges of my lehenga

"Rukho Parthvi! Aap aisa kuch nahi karengi" he said shouting trying to catch me

"Hum toh ab aisa hi karenge" I too shouted looking backwards and ran away

Now coming to main topic! My updates may not be frequent from now as my Offline classes are starting soon and I already have tones of impending assignments and notes to make. So I'm thinking to update once in a week. I was unable to update recently because my exams had commenced. Also this author is one hell of a lazy ass. So please let your heart be huge to forgive me. Hehe *grins innocently*

Important question: Do you want Dhriti in Varnavat? Cause I was thinking of other aspects.

Parth: You can't do this to me author, I met my twin after 22 years and now  you are separating me again

Me: Oh please! what do you even remember about her before she came back because as per I know you were also 1 day old

Parth: Hehe I may not remember well, but come on I'm her twin. Don't I know you are planning to make my twin of this birth be with my twin of previous birth Huh- *huffs angrily*

Me: Wait what! Twin of this birth- Dhriti & previous birth- Narayan. Ohh so you found, you are intelligent I must say

Parth: That I know. Now tell me why can't I be with her for more time. Why is Madhav so close to her

Narayan: Parth, I can sense something burning here. Do you know what it is? *sniffs* It's coming from you Parth. *smirks*

Me: What should I do with you two best friends. And Parth obviously I'll make Dhriti be with Narayan after all she is Narayan's ______  -_-

Dhriti: STOP IT! Here I'm trying to sleep and you all are bickering. If you don't stop now then I'll go back with Mahadev. Then keep fighting

Parth- Narayan: NOOOOO!!!!

*me smirks brings some popcorn and watches the drama*

Parth: She is my sister so she will be with me. Why are you shouting no Madhav, I'm sure Mahadev will have no problem with me staying with him if Dhriti also stays with him

Narayan:*smirks* Tsk...Tsk... Parth you are forgetting, who is the best friend of Mahadev

Dhriti: Stop it both of you, one more word and I'll punish you both- Parth I'll tell about Brihannala to Shubhadra and your love story will end before starting and Kanha, I swear I'll tell about all the Makhan you stole to Devakhi maa and also add salt in all makhan, which you happen to dislike very much

Parth- Madhav: No! You won't do that to your twin/ brother

Dhriti: I can and I will. And you *points towards author* stop eating popcorn and with whom I'll be with will only be decided by your lovely readers. Understood?

Me: Y- Yes mam

*everyone leaves and author sits with a huff on couch and breaks the 4th wall*

Author: Kya? Ab kya dekh rahe ho show khatam aur ha Don't you dare forget to say your opinon or  you will find your dear author dead. Warning nahi sunni kya. *grumbles*
