"Nainaaaa, " Shruti shouted at her who lost in her thoughts.

" Hmm." Naina hummed twirling her fork absent-mindly.

"What is wrong with you from the time you arrived you are looking Soo lost." Shruti asked, from the little time Shruti meet her she knows this much that Naina Roy anything but quite.

"Nothing really, tell me what were you saying," Naina asked giving her full attention to Shruti.

"  You know my ex best friend was such a bitch ." Shruti with a scowl ,

"Why what did she do." Naina asked biting her apple.

"You can't believe she dumped our friendship just because  her two days boyfriend couldn't stand me." Shruti said with a sarcastic smile.

Naina stopped mid chewing, dumped our friendship just because of her boyfriend Naina swallowed , yesterday Arjun laughed with that Ban...Arushi flashed her mind making her stomach twist.

" Why ." She asked absent-mindly.

"What why , her Boyfriend thought I m annoying and always stealing all her time Soo he told her to dump me." Shruti said shrugging nonchalantly.

Will Arjun also do it with me Naina thought fearfully.

"You friends are such a bitches once they get new friends or girlfriend / boyfriend they forget us, fuck them all." Shruti said angrily stuffing a handful of chips in her mouth.

Shruti's words were like fuel to her already burning fire, various scenarios of when Arjun having girlfriend and dumping her started roaming in her mind.

The whole day it keep bugging her mind, though her heart know that Arjun and her friendship was something very precious for both them but still there was a part of her which worried , off course Arjun has his own life ahead, he will have his girlfriend, fall in love with her then settling and she doesn't have any right to stop him but she couldn't thought of someone else with him it made her feel weird.

As the dusk settled down and the darkness engulfed the orange sky Naina sat in her apartment window with a laptop in her lap doing her assignments.

She was feeling heavy inside not being able to share her feelings with anyone, always it was Arjun whom she shared her heart out but this time she could not , she needed someone who would not judge her and tell her why she is feeling like this.

I hate you Shruti it's all because of you , I was happy in my bubble but you have to rise those questions inside my head , Naina thought groaning.

She thought to FaceTime her parents," hi mummy." She smiled.

"Dear why is your face looking like that everything okay," her mother asked.

Naina tensed she didn't wanted to let her parents know this," yeah mumma everything is fine just little tired our professor loves to torture us with homeworks." She said pouting.

Her mother laughed after talking with her for sometimes she felt a bit better, she closed the laptop and turned around and." Ahhhhh." She screamed frightened suddenly looking at Arjun who was leaning at the doorway of her room .

She throwed a pillow at him which he caught laughing," Arjun you asshole you scared the shit out of me." She shouted at him.

"Ok ok sorry calm down, and get ready."  Arjun said to her walking out of the room.

"Get ready but for what," she asked confused following him.

"We are going out." He said entering his room to get fresh.

"That I also know Arjun but where." She asked with her hands on hips.

"That's for me to know and you to find out." Arjun saying this closed the door of his room.

Naina stood there with her mouth open, she shook her and went to her room to change into something approval for going out, she wore a red t-shirt with jeans and tied her hair in pony tail , she just washed her hair and applied little kajal and was ready to go.

Only the outfit

"Arjun where are going, if we are going for vegetables or groceries then let me get the bag at least." Naina told him as he locked the their door.

"Just shhh Tara." Arjun told her hold her hand as they walked out .

They catched a bus which was a little crowded, the city was still buzing as ever in it's business. They both stood besides each other holding the grab handle, " woah it's 8 pm but still it's pretty much crowded here." Naina told Arjun ,

" Arjun please tell me nah where are we going." She asked him to which gestured with his eyes to keep quiet, she pouted.

While Arjun was buying the tickets for them he noticed that the bus was getting more crowded, and as Naina was standing in middle she was practically getting squeezed, he hurriedly payed the conductor and pushed her towards a corner window area and stood infront of her blocking the crowd .

"Now okay." Arjun asked her with smile to which she replied with sheepish nod.

She looked at him no matter what even if someone ever comes between them or even if Arjun ever neglected her still for her he will always be her Aljun , her world, without whom her life will always incomplete.

"Tara common, our destination arrived, don't leave my hand okay." He told her looked out the window.

She smiled at him," never." She told him entwining their hands. He pulled her infront of Soo she doesn't get struck in the crowd, after getting out of the bus , Naina took lungful of air.

"Oh my goodness that was hell , how the hell do you manage to keep traveling on this hell." Naina said looking wide eyed at the speeding crowded bus.

Arjun held her hand and pulled her with him." Let's go with me," he said as they walked ahead Naina's eyes widened. Her hand flow to her mouth in excitement.

"Beach!!!!!." She shouted inside her , Arjun was relieved that she was cupping her mouth as because of it her shout was muffled.

They were infront of juhu beach , many street food shops were open infront of it as it was night time the beach was almost empty except the people at the shop.

"Let's buy something okay, you wait here i m going to bring something for us." Arjun told to which she nodded, as it was late there was a crowd of many rough looking guys and Arjun didn't wanted to bring Naina there, he brought them chole bhatore,  a the time keeping eye on Naina who was excitedly looking at the beach like a child, Arjun smiled seeing her his Tara's one smile was enough to wash aye his whole day tiredness , he had a hard day at work but he wanted see Naina in her usual self Soo he thought to bring her at the beach, he would do anything to get a small smile on her face,

after all she was his Tara, his shining start how can he ever let his shining start to lost its brightness, won't it dull his world .

Chole bhatore

Arjun walked back to her," what did you get." Naina asked him excitedly as they walked towards the beach.

"Patience Tara." Arjun said chuckling.

Naina took of her sandals and dangled it from her fingers, the feel of wet sand made her feel excited, all her life she was in Kolkata because of that she never went to a beach before,   the sounds of waves hit her ears and she smiled widely.

She run towards the water and cupped some in her hands , she giggled feeling the cool water , she splashed it upwards and the showered upon her like rain, Arjun smiled seeing her playing like a child.

"Arjun come here let's play." Naina called him giggling while dipping her whole in the water ,

"We will play but then the chole bhatore will get cold." Arjun said gesturing towards the parcel in his hand.

Naina's face brightened she immediately run towards him ,they both sat in the sand opened the parcel. After having a delicious dinner they both sat there enjoying the cold breeze and soothing sound of the waves.

Arjun looked at her she looked calm and happy , he was relieved that Naina was back to her old self but he have to know the reason behind her dampen mood since yesterday, he couldn't see her like that lost and off.

"Tara."

"Hmm."

"Why were you sad from yesterday." He asked only to meet with silence he looked at her to see she is looking deep in thoughts.

Naina didn't how to answer his questions, she couldn't tell him her growing questions about their relationship but then also she believed that 'communication is the key', she decided to go with half truth for now,

"I was .......insecure." She told finally deciding the right word.

Arjun frowned," insecure but about what." He asked confused.

Naina looked down at her lap." About our friendship." She said in a small voice.

Arjun eyes widened in surprise he never thought that he made her feel insecure about their friendship, their relationship was like his own little treasure which he always treasured ." Tara I m really sorry if I did anything wrong , I don't know what made feel like that but I m really sorry and I didn't mean...." Arjun was rumbling when Tara kept her palm on his mouth shutting him.

"Shut up silly it's not you ,." She said chuckling a little with a soft smile.

Looking at Arjun confused face she continued." Yesterday when papa was  teasing you I realized that you are not my little Aljun anymore but a young man with a future ahead , someday you will have your girlfriend and I might sound selfish but I don't want to share you with anyone, many negetive what if run through my mind , what if your girlfriend doesn't like me will you make distance from, I really don't know why suddenly these started rising in my mind." Naina said holding her head in her hands.

Arjun shifting closer to her cupped her cheeks and made her look at him ,  she sniffled ," now stop crying I forgot to bring my hankey." Arjun joked to which she to chuckled.

"Don't worry I brought my own." She said taking it out from her pocket and dangling it infront of him , Arjun took it from her and wiped her eyes gently making sure to not smuge her kajal.

"Now listen , I have no plans in making any Girlfriend because no one is not good enough for." He told her lighting the mood to which she slapped in the arm.

" And about future let's see but no matter what I will always be your Aljun , and if I ever make any Girlfriend she should know the importance of both you and her in my life, and who said that you are selfish Damm I feel spending all my day with you and annoying the shit out if you Soo there is nothing selfish, we both know that how much we mean to each other, Soo no more insecurity." He said pinching her nose to which she slapped his hand with a smile.

"And yes I m still your Aljun and always will be just not little anymore." He said teasing gesturing to his physique.

Naina laughed heartly after two 48 hours , her insecurity was reduced but not those rising question and feelings.
