Authors Note: It's been a while hasn't. I feel very disappointed at myself because I practically abandoned everyone but I'm back. Fun Fact, my one year of making this book is near! Second, I feel grateful for 60k Reads but I feel like I don't deserve it because I literally left. I was gone because mostly of the game itself, Fortbytes, Singularity, that sick event, and Season X. Hell I might as well make this a long one with Brift moments.

Drift's POV:
These few days has been wild; I guess I need to get used to it. Brite Bomber told me that there's going to be a pool party in Paradise Palms; so I went to a shop to gets some swimming clothes and bought some sunscreen. Tomorrow is going to be good.

Brite Bomber's POV:
I was in my apartment and I called Care Bear for our day out at Paradise tomorrow. "Hey gurl!" I said and I heard her laugh at the other side, "Hi Brite! So what are you going to wear tomorrow?" She asked me and I thought about it.

"I think I'm going to wear a purple crop top, a blue skirt that'll be shorter than my knees and, yeah that's all." I told her and she giggled. "So you're trying to impress your man huh?" I blushed furiously, "CARE BEAR!" I yelled at her and she said "Bye!" and hanged up.

I sighed and thought I swear I hate her but I love her at the same time. I stood up and went shopping for my clothes.

I spent a good 3 hours looking for what I needed, returned home and putting them all in my closet for the big day tomorrow.

I put on PJs and went to bed and fell asleep.

Morning

I woke up to my alarm clock, I stopped it and grabbed my bag and went outside to meet Drift, CTL (refresh of memory, short for Cuddle Team Leader), and Rex. "Ready Brite?" Drift spoke to me and I nodded.

Rex and Cuddles weren't using their dinosaur and bear costume since we'll be at Paradise Palms. Rex was wearing a green shirt with blue shorts; Cuddles is wearing a pink shirt and skirt, and Drift was wearing a Hawaiian style shirt and brown shorts. (It's basically the Summer Drift version without the mask.)

He took the driver seat, I got passenger next to him, and both Rex and Cuddles took the back. Drift started driving towards Paradise Palms.

30 minutes later

Drift's POV:
We made it to Paradise Palms and it looks beautiful! It's a desert city with palm trees, a large hotel, cafés, residential homes, most of them having a patio or pools, and our stop is at Paradise Palms hotel.

I pulled over and parked, the four of us exited the vehicle and went to the pool area. "Hey guys!" We heard a feminine voice and we turned to see someone I've never seen before.

Brite Bomber's POV:

"Hey guys!" We heard a feminine voice and we turned to see an old friend of mines, Sunstrider! "Sunstrider!" I ran up to her and we both gave each other a big hug. "Brite how are you doing girl?" Sunstrider was a sassy girl and I giggled at her. "We're going to have some time at the pool." I replied to her question and she looked behind me and gave me a look of confusion.

"Hey Brite, who's that?" She pointed at Drift and I looked at her. "His name is Drift, he actually came from another universe. Same planet like earth but he's different from the rest of us." I explained to her about Drift and she said, "I noticed that straight away; and to be honest, I think both of you look cute!"

I blushed when she said that and I thanked her. "Where's the dressing rooms?" Drift asked her and she pointed at the other side of the pool.

We walked over and I stepped in, pulled my clothes out, and started to change. I hope he likes this...

Drift's POV:

We waited for Brite to dress out and after a while, "Done!" She yelped and stepped out; I felt my face turn pink when she came out.

She was beautiful.... she was wearing a purple crop top, blue skirt, and she even had a ponytail. God she's beautiful......

"Drift?" Brite called me and I snapped out of my trench and responded to her. "Y-yes?" why am I nervous....

"You seemed, lost. Something wrong?" She asked me and I looked at her, again, "N-n-no.... nothing is wrong...." I'm a embarrassment....

A little while later

Brite Bomber's POV:

More and more people came to Sunstrider's party and it's about 2:00 P.M. right now. It's starting to get hot now...

"Hey Brite!" I looked at Drift and he has his feet in the pool, "come!" He patted a spot for me and I went to sit next to him. "Getting hot isn't?" I asked him and he just shrugged his shoulders. "Well, from where I was originally, it gets very hot in the summer but this is no different."

"No wonder why you're not sweating as much as I am." I replied to his response. "Have you tried swimming?" He asked me and I shook my head for no. "Can you teach me how to?" I asked him kindly and he nodded.

We stepped in the pool and he began to teach me.

(I'm not going to do the swimming thing but I'll do this!)

We're about to leave the pool to dry up and shower until I slip. I yelped and I was expecting to hit the the water until I felt his arms grabbing me. We looked at each other, blushes and then smiled. "Thanks Drift." I whispered to him. "You're welcome." He replies.

We both just stared at each other until, "Can both of you get a room for the both of you?" Sunstrider said, I got spooked because neither me or Drift expected her to be there. "SUNSTRIDER DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!"

Drift's POV:

The girls were talking and chatting and I spotted something next to the pool... it looked like a mask.

I went over to pick it up when.....
