As we walk up the path, we hear a familiar voice from behind us. "Heading up into the valley, then? Well, we're coming with you!" It's gascon and marcassin, turns out. "They follow us all the way here? Cheeky little beggers..." Mr drippy mutters.

"Where we are going is dangerous, and if something happened to you, the emperor would go flippin' spare!" Gascon scoffs.

"You don't honestly think my father would lose a moment's sleep if I disappeared, do you? He doesn't give a damn about me! All he cares about is marcassin!" My eyes soften "Gascon..."

"G-gascon, that's not-" marcassin begins, but is cut off by gascon. "Look, let's get going. I'll leave without you if I have to!" Esther frown in indignance. "Why is he giving us orders all of a sudden?!"

"Wow, im struggling to believe it myself, just WHAT were you thinking?" The man next to her, swaine I think, mutters. I raise an eyebrow at him. Is it just me, or does he remind me of someone.....?
