Finishing her lunch quickly, Catherine stood up from her seat and she walked out of the Great Hall, without a backward glance at him. Rudra watched her go with an exasperated look on his face and then he turned his attention towards Bhavya. She was having her lunch, while talking with her friend, Susan. He watched her silently as he had his lunch, but the only thing was that he could not concentrate on what he was eating. He was struck by her feminine grace, her beautiful eyes and the way she smiled, everything about her caused a warm feeling to spread inside his heart. Rudra Singhania wondered if this feeling was love, because in spite of dating a number of beautiful girls before, he was feeling this way for the first time in his life.

In the evening after class, Bhavya and her friend, Susan had dinner in the Great Hall. Afterwards, when they came out into the Entrance Hall, and were about to climb up the marble staircase, she heard a familiar voice.

Ru: Bhavya..

Bhavya turned her head towards him with expectant eyes, it was Rudra indeed.Her lips broke into an excited smile and her cheeks turned crimson, seeing the way he was looking at her.

Ru: (smiles) Bhavya..Would you mind joining me for a walk in the grounds.

Bhavya looked at her friend and Susan nodded at her with an emphatic smile.

Bh: (looks at Rudra) I will come with you, Rudra..(smiles gracefully)

Rudra held out his hand to her and she placed her hand inside his. Everyone present in the hall, were looking at them with a surprised look as they walked out of the Entrance hall into the moonlit lawns, outside.

Bhavya was looking at their holding hands, and she was pleasantly surprised that he still didn't leave her hand, but she remained silent, expecting him to start the conversation. Silently, they walked towards the edge of the lake, and Rudra stopped when they reached the water's edge. He turned towards her and gazed into the depths of her eyes.

Ru: (softly) Bhavya..

Bh: (looking into his eyes intently) Hmm..

Without taking his eyes off her lovely face, which dazzled in the bright moonlight, he softly brushed a stray hair from her face behind her ear.She felt a tickling sensation where he touched behind her earlobe.

Ru: I love you..

Bhavya couldnt believe her ears and tears of happiness, formed inside her eyes. Words struck inside her throat and she kept gazing into his eyes with an unbelievable look.

Ru: (smiles wide) I love you Bhavya..Please say something..!! (looks on intently)

Bhavya nodded her head fervently with a wide smile and still she couldn't utter a single word. Tears streamed down her eyes and she was finding it difficult to breathe. Throwing her arms around his neck, she hugged him tight, pressing her chin onto his shoulder. Rudra realized the depth of her love for him and he felt real contentment, for the first time in his life, while standing real close to a girl. He wound his arms around her slim waist and embraced her, with pure love.

Bhavya felt that, even if she died at this very moment, she would be happy thinking that she was inside his arms, while she breathed her last. She found her voice, at last.

Bh: I love you too, Rudra..! I have always loved you..only you..!

Rudra smiled wide, hearing her confession and caressed her long and sleek hair with love. But he wanted to tease her now,

Ru: Hm..and I know that's why you fed me that love potion..

Bhavya's eyes widened at his remark and she gasped, quite audibly. Quickly, she withdrew from the embrace and looked away from his face, feeling extremely embarrassed.

Rudra understood her feelings and he chuckled, sweetly.

Ru:Actually, there was no need Bhavya..You could have just come to me and told me that you love me so much..I would have fallen in love with you,in that very instant..

Bhavya gasped and looked into his eyes, as if she couldn't believe his words. He raised his hands and cupped her face, and then looked into her eyes, with sincerity.

Ru: Bhavya..you are so beautiful and brilliant..and I know that you are really a soft hearted girl. (raises his brows and widens his eyes) It's a deadly combination, do you even realize that..? I should be mad, if I refuse your proposal..(looks into her eyes, and pointedly smiles)

Bh: (laughs softly) Rudra..!!

She raised her face to him and gazed into his eyes with an ecstatic smile. Before she could foresee what was coming, he bent forward and claimed her lips. The kiss was soft and gentle and she felt herself on top of the world. It felt magical as he gently sucked on to her petal like lips with all his love while she hung onto his shoulders for support.Rudra knew that she was enjoying it and he deepened the kiss. The kiss lasted for about a few more minutes till they were fighting for dear breath. And then they hugged each other again.

When Omkara and his friend Jamie entered the Gryffindor common room after dinner, that night, Derek approached them. He was their Quidditch team captain.

Om: Hey..So, do you think we should practice tonight also..?

De:No, Omkara..I have decided to give you all a break tonight..We have been practicing back to back for the past five nights..

Ja: (relieved) Thanks mate..(pats his shoulder)

De: Alright boys..! I am off to the library..

Then nodded at him and walked past him and then Omkara slumped down into a chair by the fireplace, to relax.

Ja: Omkara..I am going up to the dormitory..I want to lie down a bit..

Om: Ya..sure..I want to meet Gauri anyway..

A naughty grin appeared on Jamie's face.

Ja: Of course..!!

Om: (smiles wide) Jamie..!!(rolls his eyes)

Jamie let out a playful laugh and went off quickly.

It was a long while, before Gauri appeared in the common room. Omkara had actually dozed off with his head resting on the chair, while he was waiting for her. The common room was almost deserted now, except two fifth year girls, who were sitting and doing their homework, in a corner.

Gauri was holding two leather bound books in her hand and she noticed Omkara, who was sleeping. A shy smile appeared on her lips, as she realized that his handsome features looked strikingly hot in the light cast by the flames of the fire. Placing the books down on a nearby table, she came near him and watched him closely. She raised her hand and placed it on top of his head, and then slowly and carefully, she ruffled his beautiful black hair, and ran her fingers along its soft strands. Omkara let out a muffled grunt and woke up. But his face shone with happiness at her sight and he looked up into her face intently.

Om: (soft voice) Gaurii..

Ga: (smiles apologetically) Hey..I didn't want to disturb you, Omkara..

Om: (softly, with romantic eyes) But, I was waiting for you..I didn't realize, when I fell asleep...(smiles apologetically)

Omkara took her hand in his hand and placed a loving kiss on the back of her palm. Then he looked up at her and was pleasantly surprised to see that her cheeks had reddened. Omkara felt excitement course through his veins, and with one brisk tug at her hand, she landed down into his lap in a sideways sitting position.

Ga: Omkara..!!

She blushed hard realizing the intimate position they were in, that too in the common room. She hit his chest, lightly with her fist, but before she could protest, he wound his arms around her petite waist and placed a sweet lingering kiss on her cheek. Gauri closed her eyes, with a shy smile and then opened them to look at him again with her doe-like eyes.

Ga: So, you were waiting for me...

Omkara nodded at her with an intense love-filled look in his eyes.

Om: But, where have you been, sweet heart..? You took so long..

She could feel him tightening the grip around her waist, and then the look in his eyes suggested that he had missed her a lot. Gauri felt a bit happier, when she realized it.

Ga: I was in the library, Omkara..I had a lot of work to do..So when I didn't find you at the dinner, I thought of going there..

Om: (nods emphatically) Aah..!! I should have guessed, Miss. topper of the year..(teasing look)

Ga: (raises her brows, and rolls her eyes, in a huff) I am not talking to you, Omkara..You always tease me..!!

She made an effort, to get up from his lap and he tightened the grip around her instantly, with his eyes shining with naughtiness and a playful smile on his lips.

Ga: (frowns angrily) And stop it, Omkara..For god's sake, we are in the common room..Please, let me get up..

Omkara had had enough of her silly tantrums and he loosened the grip around her, with a morose look on his face.

Om: Get up..!

Gauri was shocked when she saw the transformation in him and she felt bad instantly. But nevertheless, she got up from his lap and watched him, with an anxious look on her face.

Ga: Omkara..I am sorry..I didn't mean to hurt you..!

Om:(hurt and slightly angry tone) Here, I was missing you like hell..I waited and waited for you..and when you finally arrived, what did I get..?!! (looks away, impatiently)

Ga: (places her hand on his shoulder, carefully) Omkara...

Omkara whisked her hand away, got up from the chair and walked off towards the portrait hole. Gauri's eyes began to fill with tears as she watched him go like that. Without thinking, she just followed him out as he headed out of the common room, into the long corridor.

Ga: (pleads) Omkara..Please, listen to me..!

Omkara didn't stop to listen to her, instead he just quickened his pace, and she was hurrying along to keep up with him.

Ga: (chocking voice) Omkara..

Om: (angrily, without turning back) Go back, Gauri..and please don't follow me..! Leave me alone..!

Gauri knew that he was very angry and tears streamed down her pretty face, watching him go like that. She had no mood to go back into the common room and so decided to stay there, until he came back.

Gauri sat down on the stone floor, with her back, facing the wall of the corridor.She folded her knees upward and rested her face on them, staring into the direction he went, with lovelorn eyes.

Soon, the air around her, began to turn cold and she started to shiver due to its chill. But, still she was not ready to accept defeat, and didn't budge.

An hour later, when Omkara returned, he was surprised to find her sitting there on the cold stone floor, waiting for him. He felt a twinge of guilt, when he saw her grief-stricken face and her open eyes, which were dying to get a glimpse of him. But his ego didn't allow him to show it to her, as he walked closer, and he pretended as if he had not seen her.

But, blissful warmth seemed to spread through her body at the mere sight of him. In a fraction of a second, she was on her feet, and she ran towards him, while her beautiful face was blazing with a flame of hope.

Omkara's anger, wore off instantly, when he saw the look on her face and he opened his arms to welcome her, without even realizing what he was doing. Gauri hugged him with her life, whileOmkara placed his strong arms around her and crushed her body into his, quite possessively.

Ga: (sobs hysterically) Omkara...Please don't leave me and go like this, again..please...Omkara..(sobs) I love you..I love you a lot..

Omkara smiled and hugged her, even more tightly, if ever that was possible.

Om: (whispers softly) I love you too, Gauri..I love you..

He kissed on top of her head and she placed a soft kiss on his chest.Slowly, he cupped her lovely face in his palms and said, intently.

Om: I missed you..I am sorry for my behaviour, Gauri..

Ga: Omkara..I was also missing you..I am so happy that you came back..

He noticed the tears in her eyes, and he wiped them away with his thumbs.Gauri was looking into his eyes, intently and he felt a strong surge of desire, course through his veins.

Slowly and carefully, he kissed all over her face and she clung on to him, enjoying the hot sensations coursing through her body.

Om: (whispers hoarsely) God..!! Gauri...If only I knew I would miss you like this..

Before she realized, Omkara crushed his lips on hers. Gauri closed her eyes, while he sucked in her pink lips with so much need. Gauri wound her arms around his neck and responded to his kiss ardently. Their tongues welcomed each other inside their mouths and they intertwined with excitement.

Fervently, Omkara's right hand caught hold of her nape, and his left arm snaked around her waist possessively. His palm caressed the back of her waist, and his fingers clawed into her hair above the back neck. Their kiss deepened with each passing second and both were transported to some other world.

After a few more moments,Omkara raised his head and surveyed her beautiful face. She was looking beautiful with cheeks reddened with passion and her lips swollen with his elaborate kissing.

Gauri was now gazing at him with glassy eyes. With a naughty smile, Omkara raised his right hand and caught hold of her chin. With his thumb, he feathered across her lower lip. She closed her eyes and then opened them passionately. He kissed her forehead with love.

Om: You are mine, forever, Gauri..I promise you..

Ga: I know..

She hugged him with all her love, pressing her cheek on his chest, closer to his heart. She could hear them going "thud-thud-thud-thud" in a rhythmic pace, and she felt as if they sounded like her own name to her.
