A/n: hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter to this story now I'm going to make this Arc short cause I really want to get to the part where Krystal gets involved with the whole dinosaur planet thing now let the chapter begin.

Fox's pov

after some rounds of fighting I was able to get to the last round of the tournament where I'll be facing Sha- no Y/n L/n my boyfriend. I then see Y/n in his Shadow Imperious armor with his sword drawn and is in his hand then makes his way entering the arena.

announcer: oh right people! were are now at the climax of the tournament! who will win the Mistress Fox or our main Champion Shadow Imperious!

we hear the crowd cheer I grew a sad look seeing Y/n in the state he's in the state he's in now. I then see that he points his sword at me as I can't see what face he has due to the mask he wears.

A/n: note for the people that the reader knows when their in their Pov example for Fox you'll see Y/n when facing Shadow Imperious.

Y/n: just so you know I'm not going easy on you just because your a woman.

Fox: whatever you say. [I hope Zack, Falco and Leon take delete all the files of the brainwashing and find away to help Y/n]

3rd pov

as everyone was focused on the final round of the tournament Zack, Falco and Leon were sneaking into the computer system when most of the guards and Shadow Revanites were busy watching the tournament.

Leon: okay I'm almost in

Zack: good the sooner we find those files the sooner we can find anything to help Y/n and delete those files.

Falco: yeah, but were going to have to deal with the Shadow Revanites.

Zack: good point.

Leon: okay I'm in I'm going to start copying the files into a separate drive and delete the rest on this system.

Zack: okay I'm going to contact Peppy and Slippy to let them know.

Zack then goes on his COMM link telling them that their in the files that the Shadow Revanites have. while the said two were in the stands watching the fight between Shadow Imperious aka Y/n L/n against Fox.

Slippy: okay over and out. *looks to Peppy* okay their in we just have to wait for the signal.

Peppy: alright once we get it I'll radio in Wolf once the signal is ready.

as Peppy and Slippy look back to see both Fox and Y/n in fighting stances waiting for the buzzer go off start the match. once the buzzer went off Shadow Imperious made the first move charging at Fox to stab Fox, but the said vixen was quick to avoid the blade and grabbing Shadow Imperious grabbed by his wrist. then making it go over her shoulder and bring it down in doing so making Shadow Imperious lose his sword Shadow Imperious got his arm freed and flips away gaining some distance. then Fox started to charge at Shadow Imperious and throws a punch at him, but Shadow Imperious dodged the punch and throws one himself which Fox was quick enough to block the attack making the two exchange blocks and punches. then a buzzer went off making Y/n jump away from Fox and run towards the wall making Fox confused at first, but then she felt the gravity shift making her fly towards the ceiling.

A/n: just to let you guys know the arena is similar to the one that Sam and Rinzler were in Tron Legacy.

once Fox landed on the ground that was the ceiling Shadow Imperious ran up the wall reaching the same ground as Fox, but he jumps towards while grabbing his sword that was in the air due to the gravity shift. Fox on the other hand quickly grabbed a knife she had and breaks the glass ground beneath her in hopes making Shadow Imperious fall through, but Shadow Imperious places both his feet on both sides of the hole preventing him to fall through. the two looked at one another then they started to strike each other with slashes from both of their bladed weapons while Fox was making sure to keep Shadow Imperious' blade away from cutting her. during this they moved away from the hole Fox managed to get on the offense of this exchange which she tries to slash at Shadow Imperious, but he ducks under it and jab punches her with enough force to knock her down. but before Shadow Imperious could do anything else he notices the buzzer meaning another gravity shift which Shadow Imperious quickly runs to the wall while Fox falls back to the ground front first as she turns around she notices Shadow Imperious in the air again. he then lands on top of Fox making the two slide back across the ground with Shadow Imperious on top of her reading his blade at her.

-with Leon, Zack and Falco-

Leon: okay files are copied in the drive we're ready to go.

Zack: great let's delete the ones this computer. I'll radio in Peppy and Slippy. *presses the COMM link* we're ready.

-with Slippy and Peppy-

Slippy: *on COMMs* right got it. *looks to Peppy* radio them in.

Peppy nods and Radios in Wolf and his group to start the assaults while Shadow Imperious was about to end Fox with his sword, but one thing stops him.

*necklace song start*

A/n: remember the song in the necklace is what you feel is better suited for.

upon hearing the song Shadow Imperious' hands start to shake and drops his sword making him clench his head in pain. as this was happening an explosion happen in another part of the building that avoided any innocents getting injured catching all of the members of the Shadow Revanites off guard. in the heat of the commotion Fox makes her get away to regroup with the others while the heads of the Shadow Revanites managed to check their radars.

Shadow Slasher: what the hell is going on?! who the hell is shooting at us?!

Shadow Zeke: it appears that we're being attack by not only the Star Fox crew, but Wolf and her team.

Shadow Slasher: let's get to our arc-sabers along with the grunts. we're going to show these intruders what happens when you interrupt the Shadow Revanites show. also contact Shadow Imperious to do the same.

the two leaders nod as Shadow Nox tells Shadow Imperious the order in which he does so. after grabbing his Sword and putting it on his back  he starts to head towards the hanger. while Peppy, Fox, Slippy, Falco, Zack and Leon made it to the hanger once there Leon knocked a Shadow Revanite grunt and took his place in one of the single pilot ships while the others got in a larger ship that has two back side gunner seats and three seats at the cockpit. once they were in the ships Leona was first to leave the hanger and make his way to the Great Fox while the others in the larger ship started to make their way out.

Leon: {alright I'm making my way to the Great Fox. you guys better watch my back}

Wolf: {we're already on it, but it also looks like the Shadow Revanites got their grunts to come as well.}

Fox: {alright we don't have much mobility in this ship, but well help in any way we can.}

as Fox pilots the larger ship to help out Wolf, Fay, Miyu and Panther to their best to take out any grunts attacking them. while distracting the three leaders and Shadow Imperious as they managed to take out a good number of the grunts Fox, Peppy, Slippy, Falco and Zack found themselves being chased by Shadow Imperious, the three leaders and some grunts.

Zack: guys we got company!

Fox: try to hold them off you two!

Zack and Falco then took the controls of the back guns and started to fire them at the group chasing them. which the three leaders and Shadow Imperious managed to avoid the barrage of shots the grunts on the other hand some managed to avoid the shots while others weren't so lucky to avoid the shots as each individual ship get's destroyed along with the pilots. then Shadow Zeke goes to take the shot at the larger ship, but he is waiting until his aim is lined up for an accurate shot.

Shadow Zeke: your mine.

????: {sorry pal, but this is payback for getting the drop on my friends.}

just then Shadow Zeke's ship get's hit with shots from Miyu's Arwing once her shots connected Zeke's arc-saber spins out of control as the said pilot tries to regain control. but his ship crashes into  one of the grunts ship making a large explosion which kills the both of them.

Miyu: {and that is Karma biting you in the ass.}

Shadow Nox growled at the Lynx and was about to chase her, but she soon finds herself being chased by Panther.

Shadow Nox: {oh you are so going to get it kitty cat.}

Panther: {*chuckles* what makes you think I was going to take you down?}

this confused Shadow Nox until she felt her arc-saber shake from being hit by shots from another ship similar to Panther's. which belongs to Wolf as she was now chasing Shadow Nox firing at her.

Wolf: {this is one of the reasons you do not try to take someone close to me.}

once Wolf then fires directly at Shadow Nox's arc-saber hitting the engine making the whole fighter class ship explode along with it's pilot. once two out of three of the Shadow Revanite leaders were taken care of Shadows Slasher and Imperious with two grunts left still chasing Fox and her friends in the larger ship. while Falco and Zack do what they can to hold off their chasers, but Fox then sees a stream of  medium sized asteroids that are good size for their ship.

Fox: hang on guys I'm about to do some thing crazy!

before everyone could ask Fox makes a harsh turn which their chasers follow them entering the asteroid stream. as fox maneuvers the ship around the asteroids and to crashing into them then one of the grunts got behind firing shots at the larger ship which Zack and Falco try to hit the grunt, but the said grunt is able to avoid the shots. but the shots then manage to graze the wings of the grunt's ship severally making the grunt lose control and crash into a asteroid.

Zack: another grunt bites the dust!

the second of the last two grunts then followed the larger ship firing at them while avoiding the shots from both Zack and Falco. but then a asteroid comes into view of the grunt in which making him make a harsh turn to avoid crashing into the asteroid once the grunt managed to steady the ship he looks around to find the larger ship, but it was nowhere in sight. while the said larger ship was right behind the grunt and started to fire the front row blaster of the ship aimed at the grunt. the said grunt tries to avoid the shots, but he get's shot down in the end crashing in to another asteroid once the grunts were now long gone Shadow Imperious comes behind the larger ship in which Zack and Falco fire not to blow up their friend's ship but merely make his ship unable to move. but Shadow Imperious was quick enough to fire at the guns that Zack and Falco controlled as they tried to fire only to find out the guns are down.

Falco: guys our guns are down!

Zack: and Y/n is right behind us!

then Shadow Imperious circled around the ship once reaching the top upside down Fox, Peppy and Slippy look up to see Shadow Imperious looking back at them.

Fox: Y/n....

Peppy: son what have they done to you.

Leon: {guys I made it to the ship and analyzing the data. it looks like the doctor that helped with the brainwashing neglected to mention some of Y/n's brain contain his most fond memories.}

Fox: {I see is there away for me to contact his ship?}

Leon: {yes each Shadow Revanite ship like the one you guys are in can access a private channel.}

with that in mind Slippy got to work on connecting to the private channel which took no time for him to be able to do. then Fox took off Y/n's necklace and starts to play the song in it while Shadow Imperious was hearing this song in his private channel making him shake his head as memories begin to flow through his head. then one thing manage to snap him back to his real self.

????: we are always with you Y/n always and forever never forget who you are.

Y/n: wha? mom? dad?

Shadow Slasher: { Shadow Imperious take the shot! finish them!}

the now brought back Y/n looks back to see Shadow Slasher's arc-saber behind him then turns back to his friends ship. instead of firing he pulls his ship up and not take the shot. Zack and Falco look with hopeful looks on their faces while Shadow Slasher's ship starts firing at their ship making Fox dive the ship with Shadow Slasher follow them still shooting at them. unkwon to both ships Y/n was diving along side them, but faster so that he was ahead of the larger ship once he leveled his ship Y/n activated his bladed wings knowing what to do.

Y/n: it's as they say payback is a bitch and so am I.

he then accelerates his ships speed heading towards the larger ship after it passes Y/n while Shadow Slasher looks to see an incoming bladed wing going right for his cockpit. all that Shadow Slasher could do was scream "no" until the bladed wing slashes the cockpit making it explode ending the Shadow Revanites.

A/n: and done I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter sorry is this arc is shorter than the last one, but it will get a epilogue and will show the next one that will take place in Star fox adventures. also I've also ran out of ideas for the other parts of the tournament so please let me know what you guys think and I'll catch you guys in the next one
