Fox's pov

As I am in my bed asleep I felt the warmth of the morning Sun I wake up and stretch my arms out then I got out of the bed to get dressed for the day then I smelled something cooking so I went down the stairs and head to the kitchen to see my dad cooking

Fox: morning dad

James: morning kiddo how are you doing

Fox: good how's yours

James: *chuckles* same here also breakfast is ready

Then we started to have our breakfast after we were done eating I might as well ask my father if he's okay with me dating y/n

Fox: hey dad can I ask you something

James: sure what is on you mind

Fox: um I was wondering on what you think of y/n

James: well he's a nice young man who's the last of his kind honest and trust worthy not a bad kid why do you ask?

Fox: *blushes* um well I kinda have feelings for him and I know you don't trust most boys so I was wondering if your fine with it

There was a brief moment of silence I just hope that it's nothing bad then I suddenly felt a hand on my head to see my father smiling

James: *chuckles* true I don't trust most boys with you but when it comes to y/n I trust him plus your a big girl so follow what your heart is telling you so if you plan on dating him then I'm not going to stop you

With that I hugged him knowing he's ok with me dating y/n I was more than thrilled

Fox: thanks dad your the best

James: anything for you now I'm going to be gone for a mission for awhile with peppy and pigma so you and y/n will be staying together until we get back

Fox: ok I'll be going to school I'll see you later

James: *smiles* ok and you better be prepared for the test coming up

Fox: you got it

With that I left for the academy I can't wait to tell y/n my feelings for him I hope he accepts them

Y/n's pov

I was sleeping in my bed but I heard the so end of an annoying alarm clock so I pressed the snooze button then got out of my bed

Y/n: I may be in a different system and planet but same annoying alarm clock like on earth

Then I got dressed for the academy I made my way down the stairs to see my adoptive father peppy with breakfast

Peppy: morning son how are you feeling this morning?

Y/n: *smiles* good dad how about you

Peppy: I'm good as Welland your right on time for breakfast now let's eat before it gets cold

With that we eat are breakfast we made some small chit chat and telling a few jokes we got done finishing our breakfast

Peppy: hey son me and James will be gone for a couple of days for a mission sorry I won't be there to see how you do in the test

Y/n: it's alright dad I know but if you don't mind me asking who else is on this mission

Peppy: well there's one other and that's pigma

Y/n: oh him there's something about that guy that I hust don't trust

Peppy: you and me both son well we can't complain about it and you'll be staying with Fox while me and James are on the mission

Y/n: ok and speaking of Fox I'm actually hanging out with her to day after school

Peppy: *teasing tone* oh like a date

Y/n: *slightly blushes* wh what no just as friends

Peppy: you say that but why did you stutter there and plus I notice on how you two hang out pretty often

Y/n: I I don't know what your talking about

Peppy: *laughs* ok that's enough teasing go before your late for school 

Y/n: ok

With that I left for the academy for pilots and my adoptive father peppy left for his mission only hours of walking I get pulled into a ally by some thugs with my back pressed against the wall

Thug1: give me you wallet and there will be no trouble kid

Y/n: if your trying to rob me then trouble came to you

Thug2: what you think you can beat all three of us

Y/n: I wasn't referring to me beating you

As I said that one of the thugs get kicked in the stomach that launched him into a trash can

Y/n: *smirks* well I tried to warned you

Then the second thug tried to punch the person that kicked their friend only for that person to dodge the punch and kneed him in the gut then knocked him out with an elbow to the head

Thug1: ok who the hell are you

????: your worst nightmare if you don't leave and not mess with this one

The person points to me as the thug reluctantly leaves with his unconscious buddies then the person who helped me came to me

Y/n: *smiles* thanks for the save there wolf how do you always know if I'm in trouble? 

Wolf: well first off I saw you got pulled into the ally and second you could say I have y/n senses when you are in trouble gotta keep you safe since you are the last of your race

We share a laugh knowing this has bee  a routine for us wolf as always been their to help me out of a pinch when it comes to being threatened by thugs she has always acted like a sister figure around me and also a rival to my friend Fox but that has never been a issue

Y/n: well I better get to school don't want to be late for class

Wolf: yeah you better I want to see what kind a pilot you can be in the future

She says while rubbing my hair messing with it a little we then waved goodbye to each other then I took off to the academy

School was somewhat eventful the classes were kinda short due to the pilot test tag team coming up tomorrow so I made my way to the front entrance to wait for Fox so we can hangout

Zack: hey y/n what are you doing?

Y/n: hey Zack just waiting for Fox cause we're hanging out today

Zack: *teasing tone* ooohhhh like a date~

Y/n: oh come on not you too

Zack: what you can't deny that you both always hangout with each other

????: you can say that again

We both look to where the voice came from only to see the female avian herself

Y/n: hey Falco what are you doing here

Falco: oh nothing much just want to tease you a little about you little date with Fox

Zack: hehe I'm doing the exact same thing anyways I got my fill of teasing so I'll see ya guys later

With that he left to do whatever he does leaving me with Falco 

Falco: so anyway with teasing aside you ready for tomorrow's test 

Y/n: hell yeah I'm ready! We're going to rock

Falco: *giggles* I can see your pumped for it well I better be going I'll catch you and Fox later

She left leaving me on my lonesome I was about to lean my back on the gate until I felt a tap on my shoulder causing my to jump a little then I heard some soft laughing I look behind me only to see Fox

Fox: *laughing* I can't believe that i scared you a little just by tapping on your shoulder

Y/n: *blushes from embarrassment* sh shut up you just caught me off guard

Fox: ok ok I'll give you that one so you ready for today

Y/n: *regains composure* yeah I'm ready so where to first?

Fox: I was thinking of going to the movies then get something to eat after words

Y/n: sounds good well let's go

Then we head to the movie theaters to go watch a movie together once we get to the theaters we went to the stand to pick a movie to watch and get some drinks and popcorn

(Just think of any movie film but replace the actors with some of star Fox side characters and civilians of the games)

After we finished watching the m/c (movie choice) we went to a restaurant then once we got to are table Fox ordered her food as I ordered f/f and f/d as we wait for our food we make some chit chat then Fox notices my necklace

Fox: hey y/n what's with that necklace around your neck about if you don't mind me asking?

Y/n: *smiles as he looks at the necklace* no it's alright you see my parents left me two gifts before they died one of them was a ring from my family and the other is this necklace around my neck right now inside it is a picture of my parents when I was little and a engraving that said " we are with you y/n always and forever never forget who you are" with a little melody music to help me remember the good times I had with them

Fox: can I hear the melody if you don't mind?

Y/n: no I don't mind when it comes to music it's always good to listen with others

Then I opened the necklace locket revealing the picture I mentioned and once it was opened it played the melody as me and Fox listen to it I can hear Fox humming it 

(The melody music can any music you find fitting cause I don't know how to show videos on this)

As The music ended I closed it when I looked at Fox she seemed to have enjoyed the song then the waitress brought our food as we were eating our food we would chat about something's and tell each other jokes once we finished our food we paid for it then we went to the park enjoying the evening sky we sat on a bench I notice Fox was blushing while looking down so I asked

Y/n: hey Fox is something wrong are you feeling well?

I put my hand on her shoulder in hopes it will help her relax

Fox: ye yeah I'm fine just thinking about something

Y/n: care to tell me about it if it will help you

(Fox's pov)

I guess its know or never I can't just keep these feelings hidden from him I just hope he accepts them

Fox: actually there is something I have to tell you

Y/n: *smiles* go ahead I'm all ears

After he said that he flashed me his smile that I blush just from staring at him I took a deep breath to prepare myself

Fox: y/n we have known each other for quite a long time when we we're little well as time went on and we got to know each other well I started to have certain feelings for you

Y/n: and what feelings are tho-

I cut him off by placing a kiss on his lips  can tell he was surprised at first I was afraid he wasn't going to accept my feeling before I could pull back I felt him leaned into the kiss and placing his arms around me I followed this motion by putting my arms around his neck we stayed until the need for air came so we separate from the kiss

Fox: so does this mean

Y/n: yes I accept your feelings to tell you the truth I sorta have the same feelings for you too I was just not sure if you felt the same way for me

Fox: well I'm glade we manage to sum up the courage to confess our feelings

Y/n: yeah so we should get to your house cause its getting late

Fox: yeah and don't worry about extra change of cloths we can go shopping for more

With that we went to the clothes store to get him a set of extra clothes then we headed to my house once we got Inside we took turns in showering he was about to take the guest room but I stopped him

Fox: hey y/n we could share my bed

Y/n: are you sure cause I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable 

Fox: it's alright I don't mind so your not going to make me feel uncomfortable 

He then nods then we went to my room and laid on my bed when y/n was fast asleep I snuggled up to him with my head on his chest I then felt his arms around me I then let sleep take me
