They all were about to tuck into dessert when Ginny walked in late, she looked awful because she had just been fighting with Dean. Tom stood up making Dani giggle, then he sat down slightly embarassed.

"So miss Granger, what do your parents do for a living?" Asked Slughorn.

"There dentists." Said Hermione.

Everyone looked at her shocked apart from Harry who just stared at her with a smile on his face.

"They look at peoples teeth." Said Hermione.

"That must be very dangerous." Said slughorn intrueged.

"Not really but, this one time a boy bit my father and he had to have stiches." Laughed Hermione and Harry joined in.

"So Tom and Dani what do your parents do?" Asked Slughorn.

"Well, they, erm." Stumbled Tom.

"They both work at the ministry." Said Dani.

Tom looked down at his dessert not wishing to say anything. Dani looked at him like hr was very odd.
