PoV: Shadow

"He can chaos control now?!" Rouge was as shocked as I was when Sonic had done so earlier.

"He can, and he's getting more powerful. I'm not sure if I can control him for very long," I watched as Sonic slept in the bed, "I'm not sure punishments are affecting him anymore."

"So what do we do? Keep him away from the emeralds? Sonic is the only one who can find them," Rouge groaned.

"I know, and that's the problem. If he isn't on our side he'll be able to destroy the Eggman Empire within hours, especially if he goes super, the place will be destroyed in a flash..." it irritated me so. That Sonic was so powerful, more than myself at this point. I didn't know how long it would be until he used his power against me. I was sure Sonic wasn't an idiot, he already knew he was much stronger than I was.

PoV: Sonic

"Ah... tsk..." My stomach hurt from where Shadow had punched me, "Shadow... why? I just want our world together..."

  My body felt warm, there was green lightning between my fingertips, "What's this Master? Did you give me a new power?"

  I could feel the Master Emerald giving me new powers. It felt amazing! I wanted to do more than Chaos control and spin dash. I wanted to be able to block Shadow's attack. I wanted to show Shadow that I was strong. I quickly left for the woods I used to train in to make sure I was alone. Let's find out what this power is.

PoV: Shadow

"Sonic-" he wasn't in the room when I came in to check on him, "Fuck."

  I searched the entire ship and Sonic was nowhere to be found. I checked the security camera and it turned out, Sonic had used chaos control in our room. He was gone, and I had no idea where he went.

"Shadow? Where's Sonic?" Rouge asked as I walked back to our room.

"He left."

"He left?! Sonic would never do that without your permission," Rouge looked worried, "You don't think he's going back do you?"

"I doubt it. Sonic only ever talks about world domination. I doubt he'll go back to being a hero-"

"That felt great~" Sonic came out of the bathroom behind us, he was wrapped in a towel, "Hi Shadow."

"You didn't check the bathroom..." Rouge started laughing.

"Stop laughing before I kill you," I snapped.

"Hm?" Sonic tilted his head.

"Sonic go lay in bed," I ordered.

"Yes," he walked into the room.

"Shadow, check the bath before getting worried next time. Sonic loves you, he won't betray you," Rouge left and I walked in to find Sonic lying in bed with the towel still around him.

"Take the towel off," I pinned him down.

"Are we going to have fun?" Sonic smiled.

"No, this is punishment."
