Chapter 20

Bill Cipher P.O.V

I am surprised that Dipper could drink the amount of whiskey that he did. It was obviously his first time, but his determination enabled him to power through. I would have never expected him to drink that much in one try. Although, I could do much more because I am experienced.

I conjure up another bottle of liquor and drink some for myself. It is a very strong alcohol from my home dimension. Its purple color looks best in a martini glass, so I also conjure up one of those as well, to seem more classy.

Dipper sees the bright color of the alcohol and becomes curious. "What are you drinking?"

I rotate my glass and look inside it. "The name is not pronounceable with the human tongue, but it is very strong. You would not enjoy it," I warn him.

He gives me a look that I have seen before. It's his look of determination. He wants to prove me wrong once again.

"Don't tell me what I would and would not enjoy," he says sternly.

I hand him the bottle. "Be my guest, Pine Tree."

He holds the bottle and brings it up to his face, smelling the alcohol. I can already see his need to cringe. It only makes me smirk.

He slowly takes a swig of the liquor and cringes as he swallows it. I can tell that he is struggling. His eyes water and his face turns red. A shot of this drink would be enough to get him wasted.

He takes a few deep breaths and hands the bottle back to me. I know that he does not want anymore, nor would I want him to suffer through drinking more. It's too much for his human body to handle.

"I told you that you would not enjoy it," I say, a rather smug tone in my voice.

He hits my arm and lays down next to me. "That was awful. How can you drink that stuff?"

"I told you, it's from my home dimension. Things are different there. Your strongest alcohol could not begin to compare to my easiest. That's just the way it is," I explain.

He takes another chug of whiskey to wash the taste down before resting his head on my chest. His face is red and I can tell that he is actually getting a bit drunk.

"I am a bad influence on you," I say, more to myself than to him because I know he probably isn't listening.

He hums softly and wraps his legs around my waist. "You are, but I don't care. Maybe I can be a better influence on you," he says, a small slur in his speech.

I sigh and pull him close, running my fingers through his hair. He purrs softly and smiles. I know that giving him so much strong liquor was not a good idea, but I don't always come up with good ideas. I just always find ways to fix my mistakes.

"What am I going to do with you?"

"You're going to love me," Pine Tree replies softly.
