Things changed ever since that day. Our once broken bond was now...unbroken. Unbreakable to be exact, but now, it's real.

Cadenza just took in orders she could handle, Dad retired from his job and let his trusted worker, Logan, take over. We now hang out every now and then. We were back to the old us...

All because of Aphmau.

I wonder if she has never came into my life, if I never made the deal, we would not be sprawled up here in the theater room watching "Love, Rosie" (Requested by Cadenza of course). It's her turn to pick what to watch for movie night.

Oh how we regret that.

"H-hand me more tissues Laurence." Cadrnza said through sobs. I rolled my eyes and handed her a box of tissues.

"Cadenza you already had 2 boxes..." I muttered.

"I don't care! The movie is so sad..." She replied,yelling as she locked her eyes to the screen once again.

Me and Dad both shrugged and continued to watch the movie forcibly.

"Hey..I've been thinking about this for a while...wanna hang out tomorrow?" Cadenza said out of the blue.

"Why? I'm too tired.." I groaned as I flipped myself.

"You're just a lazy bum." Cadenza said,rolling her eyes.

"Is it your problem of I wanted to be panda?" I replied,scoffing.

"I think you already are,fattie." She said,harshly as she poked my stomach.

I was about to reply but Dad cleared his throat.

"Sure! Any idea where?"

I then looked at Cadenza with a smirk and she returned the action.

"Arcade."

I inserted one token on the game and so did Cadenza.

"Okay.." I breathed as I took the game gun in front of me and Cadenza did the same.

"First one to die will treat the other....on....

The horsie ride"

"Agreed." Cadenza replied as she put her game face on.

It may sound childish thay we're betting over a horsie ride. Hey! We loved that ride ever since we were small. I never got to ride that thing since I was 13 years old. Cadenza may be 23 right now but who cares. I need to ride the horsie.

The game started and we started killing off enemies. We kept on shouting which drew lots of attention.

"Die already!!!"

"No!! You die!!!"

"Nevahhh!!!"

"I'll ride the horsie!!!!"

I shoot the enemy on the forehead and threw a grenade at the group of enemies coming.

"Yes!"I exclaimed as I moved on and searches for Cadenza.

We were in different teams so it would easy to kill her.

"You can't find me you panda!!" She exclaimed as she took a left turn.

I remembered the way she was going and went there.

"I will kill you and ride the horsie!" I said as I approached her.

"Goodbye Cadenza!" I exclaimed as I reloaded my gun.

"Oh no you don't!"

I pulled the trigger..

And she went down.

" I can't believe no one won!!" I exclaimed as I ate my fries.

"It's because you pulled the trigger the same time I did! Idiot!" She exclaimed bonking my head.

"It's a tie then.." I muttered as I thought of a way to ride the horsie.

"First one to the horise ride gets tp ride for free!!" I exclaimed as I ran off,leaving her behind.

"No fair!!"

I chuckled to myself as I ran to the ride.

I could see Cadenza was having a hard time catching up.

"Ready your money Cadenza!!" I yelled as I finally reached the ride.

I went to the one selling the tickets and smiled.

"One tick-"

I stopped mid sentence as I realized the person in front of me.

"Katelyn?"

"Laurence?" She asked,confused.

"Oh,um,what are you doing here?" I asked as she looked away,blushing.

"I-I work here idiot!" She stuttered.

I smirked as I leaned closer to her.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"J-J-Just- Whatever! I need to pay for my bills at home!" She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Hey there panda I- oh! Katelyn!" Csdenza exclaimed as she smiled at her.

"Cadenza...Are you two hanging.. Out again?"She asked as Cadenza smiled,nodding her head.

"Yup! This guy just can't live without his sister!!" She cooed as she pinched my now red cheeks.

"C-Cadenza! Stop embarrassing me!"

"What do you mean!!"

Katelyn let out a small giggle,much to my surprise. She rarely does that.

"Did you just...giggle?" I asked as I smirked at her.

"No! I-I didn't! Why are you here anyway?"

I stopped smirking as I realized I wanted to ride the horsie.

"Oh..um..I-"

"He wanted to ride the horsie!" Cadenza exclaimed, smirking.

Katelyn raised a brow at me.

"You. Want to ride the horsie?" Katelyn said pointing at me then at the horse.

"Of course I don't! O-only kids would ride that! G-goodbye!" I said,embarrassed as I walked away,blushing.

Cadenza giggled and waved goodbye to Katelyn as she catched up to me.

"You were embarrassed, were you?"

"Of course I was."

"Aww!! My little brother is growing up!!"

"Shut up Cadenz." I muttered ad I took out my phone and called Dad.

"Hey Dad?"

'Laurence! Are you and your sister done yet?'

"We are now. Let's just meet up at the cafe by the entrance."

'Okay,goodbye!'

Dad ended the call and I groaned.

Ughhh...

When we went home I immediately laid down on the couch.

"Lazy Sloth." Cadenza muttered.

"Whatever."

I saw her take out her sketching pad and look at me.

"Senior's Night is just around the corner right?" Cadenza asked as I nodded.

"Yup. Are you going to make me a tux again?" I groaned.

"Of course! Now stand up!!"

I rolled myself off the couch and on the floor and stood up lazily.

"I'll make sure you'll stand out."

She started getting my measurements and I can't help but ask.

"Hey Cadenza?"

She hummed in response.

"Is the 'Midnight Spell' true?"

"Oh, the one that the last partner you'll dance with is your possible true love?" She asked as she wrote down my back measurement.

"Y-yeah..."

"I think so. Lots of people from my batch married their last partner at the dance."She replied.

"How come you didn't?"

"I dated my last partner but it didn't work out. He was a jerk." She said, giggling.

I smiled and my thoughts roamed to Aphmau.

I wonder who my last partner will be. I still hope it's her, though. I can't believe the game would lead me into this. Well..

The best relationships begin unexpectedly.
