I don't  know why Aphmau made me bring LOTS of lovestory movies...

I mean like,come on. What are we even gonna do at the orphanage? Teach the children there how to-

If I were real, I bet Aphmau would be drooling over me the moment she would lay my eyes on this hottie. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this jerk. So much for luck.

Whatever. I don't know why I even have a sub conscience like you! All you do is lower my self-esteem.

I grumbled as I went to my locker. Much to my luck, the gang was there.

"Yo! Laur! Haven't seen you after class...where were you?" Dante said, looking at me while taking a bite of his slice of pizza.

"Dude. Stop eating. Did you already brush your teeth? Nicole's definitely not gonna like you if you have bad breath." Garroth teased, pointing at the glaring Dante.

"I agree. She might fall for me instead..." Travis chimed, smirking and closing his locker.

"Come on dude, we all know you have the hots for Kat-kdnjdbdnfndjdhd" Dante was cut off by Travis covering his mouth.

"For who?" I said, curiously. They all looked at each other and looked like complete idiots doing eye language or something like that. I arched my brow and looked at them questioningly.

"Who? Don't tell me it's Katelyn or I'll break every bone from your body. She's mine dude, Back. Off. " I glared at Travis threateningly and he smiled back nervously.

"Come on Laur...we all know Katelyn belongs to you...hehe" Travis said,laughing nervously. I just rolled my eyes and got my books from my locker.

"But I thought you have Aphmau." Garroth said, crossing his arms across his chest.

I felt my heartbeat quicken at the mention of her name. Okay, now I'm just overreacting. It may just be the side effects of puberty... Yeah...hormones. Blame it on the hormones.

"What do you-"

"Come on Gar, we all know about the game between them right? I-it's just a game and nothing else...besides...I'm planning to ask her out for the 75th Annual Trost High Dance." Aaron said,smiling. Dante facepalmed, Travis panicked, Garroth calmed Travis down while I...I glared unknowingly at Aaron.

"Oh Shoot! I forgot to ask Nicole! When is it again?" Dante asked, completely worried about the fact that someone might get to him first. But, come on, we all know they like each other. Dante is just too dense to notice.

"About...2nd week of December I think? It's for the school's anniversary. Have you guys heard about the legend of the dance?" Garroth asked,enthusiastically.

We all shook our heads. What legend?

"Well...the Annual Trost High Dance has this kind of unique dance for the seniors,separated from the other students and is exclusively for the Seniors only. They say that the last person you're dancing with the moment the clock turns 12 is the person you're gonna end up with. A lot of seniors before us found their true love because of that dance. That's why the Annual Trost High Dance for the Seniors is called the match-making dance. The thing that makes it more interesting is that no one is allowed to ask anyone for the dance and all has to wear masks. If you end up with someone you like...call it destiny." Garroth finished,smiling. Leaving us all in awe.

Wow. Our school holds many secrets that I don't even care about enough to even know. But the thought of the dance is really interesting....

I smirked at the thought of Aphmau's reaction when I'll tell her this. We all looked at Garroth and he arched a brow at us.

"What?" He said,looking at us weirdly.

"Nothing." We said in unision. With that said, the bell rang and we all parted ways.

I smirked as I walked up to our classroom. I wonder what we're gonna do.

As soon as I linked gazes with the four-eyed brat she...surprisingly smiled at me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

She never smiles at me when we see each other in Biology class. She would glare at me and moments later she would smile. Pfft. Bipolar.

I smiled back and the classroom went silent.

"He smiled!"

"I've  never seen Laurence smile!"

"Me neither! I bet that geek made some potion and tricked Laurence into drinking it!"

"Oh my gosh she's so desperate!"

"Laurence will never date a geek like her."

Okay, that was the last straw I turned to the people who said that and glared at them.

No one had the right to treat her like that. Only I could.

I was about to teach those girls a lesson when someone got me to it.

"At least she's not covered in make-up unlike you girls. Heck, what's beauty without brains?" A familiar black-haired guy said,smirking. The girls gasped and looked down in embarrasment. I turned to Aaron to see him smiling at Aphmau as the brat blushed and smiled in response.

I furrowed my eyebrows in annoyance as I saw them all lovey-dovey to each other.

Wait  why would I even be annoyed by the fact they both.....like...each....other-WHAT!!!!

IF THEY LIKE EACH OTHER THAN I HAVE NO CHANCE ON APHMAU!!! IN THE GAME!!! SHE'LL WIN FOR SU-

Wait, she won't win if I'm not in love with her. I'm not in love with her...right?

I rolled my eyes and walked over to Aphmau who was still looking at Aaron and blushing. I sat across from her and snapped my two fingers in front of her.

"Hey, Aph."

No use. I waved my hand in front of her but no progress. I rolled my eyes in annoyance as I thought of the only way to get her attention.

I flicked her forehead as her eyes widened in response.

"Ow!!! Ow ow ow ow!!" She whined,holding her forehead and pouting. She finally looked at me and glared.

"You  jerk! What did I do to deserve this?!?!" She yelled,rubbing her forehead.

I laughed at her and smirked.

"Other than the fact you were drooling over Aaron....nothing really." I said,sarcastically while smiling at her. She pouted and blushed a little.

"Idiot....you're making me blush." She muttered under her breath while looking away. She must've thought I didn't hear her.

I blushed a light shade of red and stared at her,mouth agape.

"Wh-wh-what do you mean I'm making you blush?" I asked,avoiding her gaze.

"I-I didn't say anything like that!" She denied,shaking her head.

We avoiding each other's gazes for a few minutes until I gathered up the courage to look at her.

She was looking at me too while smiling.

"Took you long enough." She teased, smiling and tilting her head to the side. I smiled back and rolled my eyes playfully.

"Whatever." I chuckled. She took out a notebook with a bookmark and opened it.

"Brought the movies?" She asked,scanning through the pages.

"Yeah, why did you let me bring this anyway?" I asked,taking out the tapes.

"As I said, it's a secret. You'll find out later. Just name the tapes first." She smiled.

I laid all of them on the table and started with the one on the left.

"Well...I brought...A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Titanic-"

"Isn't that too 'adult' for the kids there?" She said, knitting her brows together while putting her hair in a bun.

"Let's just skip the parts." I said, shrugging. She let out a sigh and made me continue.

"Okay..Titanic, Twilight-"

"Is that too 'adult' too? Don't tell me you watch the parts." She said, looking at me sternly. I shook my head and looked at her weirdly.

"Of course I don't! Pfft. What do you think I am? A perv?"

"Maybe you are one and you just don't show it."

"Whatever." I replied, rolling my eyes.

"Well...Twilight, Dear John, Letters to Juliet, The Best of Me, Winter's Tale, The Longest Ride and......Frozen?"

"Frozen?" She  asked,surprised.

"How did that get here?"

"Nevermind. Since it's the only 'kid-friendly' movie you have...I think I'll let the much younger ones watch that." She said,rolling her eyes. I can't help but chuckle and how serious she is. She stopped what she was doing and glared at me.

"What?"

"Nothing....you're so focused."

"Got a problem?"

"Geez, chill. You're so defensive..." I said,raising up my hands as she smiled.

"Well, when are we going there?" I asked, looking at her.

"After school...we're going to my house because I'm just gonna fix up then we're using my car to go to the orphanage." She replied, looking at me.

"Wait, you have a car but you're not using it?" I asked,surprised.

"Save gas Laurence, Save." She replied, arching a brow.

"But how will I fix up?"

"You don't need to. You're already okay."

"How about you'll just fetch me?"

"No. It's time consuming."

"Come on! I need to change! I'm not going there all sweaty!"

She sighed looked down.

"I can't believe I'm saying this..." She muttered before she looked at me and smirked.

"You're already handsome and hot so stop complaining. You idiot." She said,blushing and looking at her notebook as if it's the most interesting this in the world.

I felt my cheeks go hot and my heartbeat quicken at her reply.

"F-f-fine...wh-whatever." I replied,looking out.

Did she seriously say I'm handsome and hot? Wow. She definitely changed.

*ring ring*

"Well...bell rang, let's go." She said,standing up.

I nodded at her and we both went out together.

"Hey....did you really mean that when you said I was hot and handsome?" I asked,nudging her.

She stopped in her tracks and looked away.

"Yeah...you are hot and handsome...but that's not enough to capture my heart." She said,smirking. She walked ahead from me and left me there, unknowingly smiling like
an idiot.

That girl is definitely something...
