[three/four weeks after ''Stop Leaving Me'' takes place]
•Damien's POV•
''Is this your attempt at the walk of shame?'' I hear Otto groan out. He rolls over in his bed, looking at me as I pull my shirt on. I scoot back from the edge of the bed so that I'm closer to him. I smile, leaning down and kissing his lips.
''I had fun, but I gotta go,'' I tell him. Otto looks at the watch on his wrist. He gives me a questioning stare.
''Damien it's six in the morning, where is it that you have to go,'' He asks.
''Home, to make sure the two teenagers in my house find their way to school.'' I answer him. I reach down, picking my shoes up from the floor and sliding each one on. I look around his bedroom. ''Do you know where my jacket is?' I ask him.
''In my car,'' He answers, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He yawns, getting out of the bed and grabbing his pants from the floor. ''Give me a minute, I'll drive you.'' He says, walking into the bathroom.
I get up, making my way out of the room and into the kitchen. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge, opening it and downing half of its contents. I lean against the counter.
Last night was nice. I really enjoyed myself with Otto–and I'm not just talking about the sex.
Which was fucking amazing.
''What else are you doing this morning?'' He asks me, walking into the kitchen. He's changed into a fresh shirt and some grey sweat pants. And I can tell he washed his face and ran a comb through his hair at least once. Not that he even needed to. He looked sexy when he rolled over with bedhead hair. He grabs a banana from the fruit bowl on the island, peeling it open. I shrug.
''Nothing really,'' I tell him.
''Let me buy you breakfast,'' He offers. ''After you finish what you need to do at home of course,'' He adds. He takes a bite of the banana.
''Um,'' I say, thinking for a minute.
I like Otto. And I don't mind at all being photographed out in public with him. That's not where my hesitation is. But I do have this business contract with Ariadne Peters and it would look really bad on Javier if I go waltzing around town with someone else before the contract is up.
I could always pull out of the contract but I'm not about to do that and cost Javier a lot of money before I even know if Otto and I are going to be anything serious.
''No, you know what, it's fine. I don't want to be too clingy.'' He says.
''Can you cook?" I ask him, seeing his face as he gives me a confused look.
"I can successfully not burn down a kitchen." He replies. I laugh shaking my head.
"Well would you like to come make breakfast for me at my house?" I offer.
His eyes light up, and the smile on his face has me grinning from ear to ear as well.
''Is that a yes?''
''Yeah, hell yeah. And I promise I won't jump your bones again. I know sex on the first date kind of gives off the vibe that I just wanted to hook up with you but I do want something long term from this.'' He tells me.
''I mean technically I'm the one who started putting my tongue on the different places of your body, but if you wanna take credit for last night's happy ending...'' I tease. He laughs.
''You did a hell of a lot more than that, but okay,'' He replies, walking over to me. He leans in and I move forward, letting my lips connect with his.
''C'mon,'' He breathes into the kiss, letting his tongue run along my lower lip before grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the house with him.

''You're staring and it's weird,'' He mumbles in his sleep-soaked voice. I laugh, rolling him over so that he's laying on my chest. He rests his face on my chest, cuddling his self as close as he can to my body.
''I'm just trying to really take in the final hours of you being a brunette before you go and get your hair re-bleached,'' I admit, earning a slap on the shoulder from him.
I roll us over so that he's laying beneath me as I hold my weight up with my hands.
''You know a lot of people consider me hotter with the blonde hair,'' He says shrugging. He finally decides to open his eyes, drowning me in a sea of blue that I've been happily floating in for the past couple of days.
''Am I a lot of people, or am I Damien?'' I ask. He reaches up and runs his hands through my hair, pulling me down so that our lips can connect.
''You'd fuck me either way,'' He says after we separate from the kiss. I laugh shaking my head at his bluntness.
''True,'' I admit, I let my body rest on his, bringing my hands to rest on his chest as I lean my chin on my hands and look at him, ''But still, I like you like this. You like yourself more like this too. You're attractive to me without all the extra shit. You don't need it.''
''I don't think that I need it either,'' He says, running his hand through my hair, ''But I already have like 4 jobs lined up and when they gave me the job it was based off of the blonde headshots they were looking at, but if you pay me what they're paying me then I'll leave my hair like this forever baby,''
I laugh.
''Yeah, that'll never happen,'' I say still laughing, ''Have we not yet established who makes more money in this relationship? Because it's you.'' I roll off of him, just for him to roll onto me in the next second.
''Relationship?'' He asks, a happy little smirk on his face. ''Five days of me sucking you off and you're already ready to make it official?''
''Okay let's just get one thing clear,'' I say, feeling my face heating up with no way to hide my blushing cheeks since he had his sexy little body on top of me. ''It was not a consecutive five days, I'd say I got a happy ending every other day.''
''Well you'd be lying, now stop avoiding my question,'' He persists.
''You're cute,'' I tell him. I lean up and kiss his lips. He snags my bottom lip with his teeth, giving it a small tug.
''Am I? I didn't notice,'' He says sarcastically, smiling at me. ''We don't have to be exclusive Damien. It's only been five days. You can feel this out for as long as you need to.''
''I mean I'm not ready to put a label on anything yet. But I'd prefer it if you didn't sleep with or talk to anyone else and of course I won't either.'' I say.
''You're a full time job, you know that? Very clingy, how would I even find the time to talk to anyone else,'' He jokes, rolling off of me. I grab a pillow, slinging it at him. He catches it, flashing me an amused smile. ''You're my priority baby, I only have eyes for you,'' Otto says, sitting up and climbing out of my bed.

''So what do you want me to do, you want me to trash the deal we have with Ariadne and Fred?'' Javier asks me.
''No, no that's not what I'm saying—''
''Well that's what it'll come to anyway, if you go public with Otto and we don't close the deal the contract will be void and then there's no profit from it.'' Javier says.
I groan. Bringing my hand up to my face I rub my tired eyes while slouching more into the lounge chair in Javier's office.
I came here to talk to him about Otto and I. As much fun as it's been spending time in bed with Otto, it's been about a week and a half and that's all we've done.
It's great and all but the only time we get to hangout is if I go to his house or he comes to mines and even that's getting hard to do with the paparazzi clinging to us like fucking moths to a flame.
It's not that we're getting tired of being under each other or anything like that but honestly I'd love to just go out with him sometimes instead of always being cooped up somewhere and I know he feels the same way. He's really just not one to complain though, which works out fine for me because I am.
But of course I can't go prancing around town with Otto when the public thinks that I'm dating Ariadne. Jesus the tabloids would have a fucking field day if I did that. And Javier would be pissed.
Which is why I'm here. Trying to figure out how the hell to deal with this.
''Isn't there a way that we can just end the arrangement now and you still get a profit out of the deal?'' I ask him.
He gets up from the chair he's sitting in, walking around to lean against the front of his desk. A heavy sigh leaves my lips when we lock eyes and I see he's wearing his 'serious talk' expression.
''Of course, son. I can make it happen, but that's not the problem that I'm seeing here.'' He says.
''Do I have to ask what the problem is?''
''Yeah, smart ass, you do.'' He replies. I sigh again, shaking my head. I figured the conversation would take a turn like this. I hoped it wouldn't but then again, this is Javier.
''Okay, so what's the problem?'' I ask him. Not really wanting to hear his answer at all.
''I can spin a story for you to appease the public with, I can handle Fred's wrath about cutting the deal short, I can even ensure that we still make the same profit despite the duration of the contract not being completed. But what I can't do is control how the public responds. I know you've never made a big deal about whether your sexuality is known or not, but you've never exactly put it out there as public knowledge either. My point is that this is fresh news to them. And they'll make a scandal out of it. They always do.'' He explains.
I shrug.
''But I don't care about that. You know this already.'' I tell him.
''Yeah you don't care, but that doesn't mean the world doesn't. People are going to have their opinions Damien,''
''Fuck their opinions! I don't give a fuck what they say about me,''
''What I'm trying to get you to understand son, is that it's much easier to say that than it is to do it,'' I roll my eyes, followed by a sigh from Javier. ''I know you don't care about what people say about you, but it's much easier not to care when you don't have to hear it.''
I sit up in the chair.
''I've dealt with people having their opinions about me before Javier, what makes you think I can't now?'' I ask him. I honestly couldn't give less of a fuck about what people have to say about me.
My sexuality may be news to them but I've always known so I really don't care.
''That's just my point Damien, you didn't deal with it. You simply flashed out and punched the hell out of so many people to where no one with an ounce of common sense said it to your face.'' He stresses, shaking his head.
''Okay and I'm past that n—''
''You say you're past that but it's only because you haven't been put in a situation like that for years, I haven't allowed you to be, so forgive me if I'm a little worried about how you'll handle it,'' He says, cutting me off.
''I'll be fine.'' I tell him. ''Seriously Javier, there's nothing for you to worry about.''
''You say that every time I'm worried, and it never helps,''
''Well you stress too much,'' I say. ''So is that it? Am I good to take my boyfriend out for lunch today and not have to be concerned about this deal?'' I ask him.
He nods his head.
''You're the best. Did I ever tell you that? I love you.'' I get up, embracing him in a hug. I grab my leather jacket from the back of the chair, putting it on.
''Wait, hold up,'' He says before I can even make it to his office door. ''Don't think I didn't hear you use the word boyfriend. I was under the impression that you two had barely done anything more than have sex for the past two weeks.''
''Have you and Julia been gossiping about me?'' I ask, mock surprise in my tone. Javier arches his brow at me, clearly not amused. ''Look you know I'm not that big on labels, but he is. And I really like him. It hasn't just been sex, we talk and-and he listens, and it feels genuine. I like it.'' I admit to him.
''Okay,'' Javier says. ''But don't go public just yet. Wait until the Gala.''
''The Gala? You want me to take Otto to the Gala that I was supposed to be bringing Ariadne to?'' I ask, utterly confused as to where he's going with this.
''Yeah. I want you to take them both.''
''Okay...alright explain because I'm so fucking confused.'' I tell him.
''So you take them both to the Gala, and the story is that you and Ariadne broke up a while ago—''
''But we literally just got photographed kissing in New York like two weeks ago.'' I remind him.
''Okay exes hookup all the time, like I was saying you broke up a while ago and...and after your attempt to rekindle things in New York didn't work out, Ariadne introduced you to Otto and you two hit it off.'' Javier concludes.
I laugh. ''That's actually pretty believable. And you have a PR division because? You can basically run this whole company on your own.'' I say.
''Yeah that would kill me and I already have a few grey hairs coming in thanks to you and Cody.''
''What? You should embrace that, you're about to hit the big three-zero. Pretty soon you'll be able to get the senior discount at like...everywhere!'' I say laughing.
''Get out of my office,'' Javier says.
• • • • • • •
''Oh there's my bleached blonde beauty,'' I say excitedly as Otto walks through his front door with his luggage. A smile graces his face as he shuts the door behind himself and walks over to me.
He's been in New York for the past three days working and I didn't get a chance to tell him about the whole gala situation...which just happens to be tonight.
He drops his suitcase and his backpack to the floor before jumping into my arms and welcoming me with a hug.
''You're in my house, yet I never gave you a key, but I'm willing to overlook the weirdness of this situation because you look sexy as hell in this suit,'' He says, bringing a smile to my face. He leans in kissing me, ''So when do I get to take it off of you?'' He asks, eyeing me from head to toe with his lustful gaze.
''Soon,'' I reply. ''And for future reference you shouldn't hide your spare key underneath your plant pot.''
Otto laughs.
''I figured it was a stupid enough place to where no one would be bothered to check. So, you gonna tell me why you're all dressed up?'' He asks. ''Are you taking me out somewhere fancy? I thought that wasn't your scene.''
''I mean it's not, but this is different,'' I tell him. I grab his hand and pull him along with me into the kitchen. ''We're going to a gala.''
''A gala?'' He asks. ''Oh, and you brought company when you broke into my house.'' He says once he sees Julia leaning against the counter.
''In my defense, I suggested we wait until your plane landed and you were here, but it was your boyfriend who wanted to break into your house.'' She tells him, raising her hands up in surrender.
''Yeah that sounds like him,'' Otto agrees.
I roll my eyes.
''Thanks, I now know who not to commit a crime with. Anyway, Julia's here to brief you on the gala.''
''And why is it that I need to be briefed?'' He asks.
''Because it's where you and Damien will be going public with your relationship. And for the sake of my job you need to know exactly what to say when anyone asks you about your relationship with him, or his relationship with Ariadne Peters.'' Julia explains.
Otto looks at me curiously.
''Yeah, what she said,'' I shrug. ''Just pretend I told you about it four days ago when I found out.''
I turn around, attempting to quickly make my way out of the kitchen.
I know he's probably mad that I didn't tell him about the whole thing four days ago and I'm pretty sure he's super fucking tired from his flight and that all he really wants to do is go lie down.
But I also know he's going to go to the gala. For me, of course.
''Damien,'' My name leaves his mouth before I'm even two steps away.
''What?'' I ask innocently. ''You look beautiful, I'm gonna go unpack your suitcase,'' I say before he replies, leaving the kitchen.

''Is this weird for you?'' I whisper into Otto's ear, wrapping my arm around his waist as we walk down the red carpet.
''Right here,'' Julia says, signaling us to stop and face the photographers as she steps to the side.
Ariadne is on my other side and I place my hand above her hip as all three of us smile for the flashing cameras.
''What? Going to a gala on a three-way date with my boyfriend and his pretend ex-girlfriend, whom I've never met before but for PR purposes I'm very close friends with? No, nope, not weird at all. This is like a normal Monday night for me. How about you?'' He asks.
I laugh.
''This actually is a normal Monday night for me, babe.'' I reply. I turn my head in his direction, waiting for him to look at me before leaning over and capturing his lips in mines. I pull back from the kiss smiling.
''Oh me? No this is totally normal for me to. Thanks for asking guys,'' Ariadne adds in.
''Aye nice to meet you by the way,'' Otto says, leaning forward to smile at Ariadne.
''Yeah, same, I would shake your hand but I'm pretty sure that would be weird for close friends to do.'' She jokes.
She steps forward, walking in front of me and over to Otto before giving him a hug.
''I have to go get solo pictures, I'll see you guys inside though,'' She says, giving me a quick hug as well before walking further down the carpet.
''Okay, they've got enough pictures,'' I say, pulling Otto along with me as we walk off of the red carpet.
Julia catches up to us. ''Hey, I'm going to go find your table, I'll find you when you come inside. Text me.'' She says before heading into the gala.
''Are we not going inside too?'' Otto asks as I pull him along with me to where the limos are parked.
''Nope,'' I say.
I find our limo and open the door, allowing Otto to climb in first before I get in, closing the door.
''Hey, can you drive around for a few minutes,'' I tell the driver before rolling up the privacy screen.
I loosen the tie around my neck, turning to Otto and pulling him into my lap so that he's straddling me on the seat.
I look in his eyes and I'm submerged in a bright blue sea. He bites his lip, letting his eyes trail up my face until they meet mine.
''You said you wanted to take this suit off of me,'' I say. ''So take it off.''
