THREE. every kiss begins with a scream

SHILOH BEGAN to make her way to where she was told Mack would be for the majority of his time until they set up his trailer.

"Hey."

Shiloh turned, seeing Dylan jogging towards her, "What's up?"

"Have you seen Evie?"

Shiloh scoffed as Dylan began walking beside her.

"Why are you so obsessed with them all of a sudden?" She asked, "Is there something I don't know?"

"Nah, no." He scoffed, "...Maybe."

Shiloh paused, turning around to face him.

"Just... promise not to say anything to anyone. Like, I need Love Club Shiloh."

"What happens in the Love Club stays in the Love Club."

Dylan took in a deep breath, before leaning forward, whispering in Shiloh's ear.

"You and Evie what?!"

Dylan quickly slapped his hand over her mouth and gave her bug eyes, "Are you insane!?" He shouted, "What happened to what happens stays in the club, huh? I'm sure half the school can hear you right now?"

Shiloh pushed the boy away from her, turning back around and making her way towards the location of where Mack was supposed to be.

"Shiloh!" Dylan called, running behind her, "Come on, please don't tell anyone."

"I won't, my God." She muttered, "I'm just shocked is all."

"Oh, well... good." He smiled, "Have you seen them?"

Shiloh rolled her eyes, leaving the boy to his own thoughts as she continued her short adventure down the hallways.

She soon found the door and knocked, she thought she heard someone say come in and so she opened the door.

Only to spot Mack shirtless in the room with the seamstress.

"Can I help you?" Mack asked.

"Sorry." Shiloh spoke nonchalantly, "I'm supposed to be showing you around, kind of like a mentor or something. And I was told to tell you that I am on IMDb."

"Yeah, I'd love to know who assigned you to interrupt my costume fitting."

"I'm sorry." She apologized, "I didn't know that was happening. I could've sworn someone said come in. If I known that you were only in your boxers, I would've come way sooner."

Mack raised his brows and gave Shiloh a soft smile.

"You know what I meant, don't make it weird."

"Of course." He smirked, "Would you mind turning around?"

Shiloh turned, allowing the boy to do whatever he needed, "Um, my friend Gina wanted to know if you're still in touch with the dog in the show?"

"There were seven of them over the years. They all retired to a farm upstate."

"That's cute." She smiled.

"They're dead. The farm is heaven."

Shiloh nodded and turned around, "Okay, well, you are such a joy to be around. So, I'm going to leave, let you do this on your own, and pretend that I never met you."

"Oh, I'm way ahead of you." He smirked.

Shiloh nodded, biting her tongue, "Good luck with your movie, Mack."

"Good luck with your life, Love Club Girl."

"My name is Shiloh Molina, but I'm sure you knew that because I've made more headlines than you ever hand in your last seven years of acting." She barked, "But of course, I'm just the Love Club Girl, so what do I know?"

With that, she left the room and began to mutter profanities under her breath as she made her way back to the club room.

But the door was locked.

She furrowed her brows and pulled her Sesame Street lanyard out of her pocket and unlocked the door.

"Oh, my God!" She shouted.

And there before her eyes were her best friend and ex-boyfriend making out in the corner of the club room.

The two of the sprang apart and Evie stepped forward, "I-I know that this was a bad idea to makeout in here, but Shiloh—"

"Dylan, you need to leave." Shiloh said, taking a seat at the round table.

He quickly nodded and stepped out of the room and Evie shut their eyes, sitting down with Shiloh at the table.

"I really wanted to tell you that we were a thing, but—"

"I already knew." Shiloh muttered, "It's just jarring to see you two together after you quite literally shit on him last year."

"I know." Evie muttered, "But he came to camp and we got close and he wasn't so bad and you dipped on everyone during the summer and we just got closer and next thing I knew we were going to the movies and hanging up just the two of us and he asked me out and I said no—"

"You said no?" Shiloh asked.

"Because you're my best friend and I would never ever have anyone jeopardize that and I will completely cut things off with him if—"

"Evie." Shiloh smiled softly, "I'm not mad. I'm just shocked that you made out with him in here."

"Everyone of us have made out in the Love Club."

"Everyone?"

"Well... not Ashley, she has morals." Evie joked, "I really did want to tell you, but you and Ricky had just broken up—"

"Me and Ricky are fine." Shiloh said, "What are you talking about?"

And in that moment, Shiloh had completely forgotten about how she and Ricky would have this secret relationship going on because everything that had happened in the matter of six minutes.

"You and Ricky are... fine?"

Shiloh sighed, tapping her hand on the table and looked over at Evie.

"Ricky and I never broke up—"

"Holy sh— are you serious?" Evie asked, "Why haven't either of you said anything?"

"Because it's our senior year and with college, the club, potentially being captain of the soccer team, the musical, and the movie... we have a lot going on and Ricky is the one thing I do not want to lose."

Evie gave her a soft smile, allowing Shiloh to rest her head against her shoulders as she wrapped her arms around the girl.

"Growing up sucks." Evie muttered, "But you and Ricky are solid and you both know that. So, if I were you, I would worry less about that and more on the fact that you haven't noticed how many times each of us have brought another person in here."

Shiloh laughed, pushing herself off of Evie, "Shut up. At least it wasn't the couch."

As Shiloh laughed, Evie only held a tight lip and the girl soon stopped laughing.

"It was only three minutes tops I swear."

Shiloh nodded, standing up and kicking Evie out all together.

Making sure she'd know that they would be cleaning that couch later on.

SHILOH SAT at her desk with her headphones on as she listened to Dream A Little Dream Of Me by The Mamas & The Papas. She was going over the concerns that the mini Love Club had and was trying to see if there was an easy solution to them before she whacked her head on her desk.

She hadn't noticed Ricky, once again, coming through her window as her back was facing away from him. He watched her from a moment.

She was focused. She didn't have much care for her surroundings as she took her pink highlighter and marked out whatever she had been looking at.

Ricky entered the room as quietly as he could and made his way towards Shiloh.

He suddenly rested his hands against her shoulders and watched as she threw her headphones off and screamed.

Her door suddenly flung open and Ricky dived towards the floor, just in case it was Jonathan.

"What the hell are you screaming for?" Victoria asked, "I'm on the phone."

Shiloh held her hands over her face, her glasses pushed into her hair and her forehead resting against her desk.

Shiloh slowly turned and lifted her head from her hands, her glasses slowly falling down as she looked over at Victoria.

"I, uh, I'm sorry." She breathed heavily, "I, uh, I thought I saw a spider."

"Did you?" She asked, "Do you want me to kill it?"

"No, no." She sighed, "I'm okay. If it didn't scare me, I scared it."

"Okay..." Victoria paused, "Goodnight, moon."

"Goodnight, trueno."

Victoria left, shutting the door behind her and Shiloh turned her chair, looking over at Ricky who slowly stood up from his spot.

"Don't say you're sorry because you did that on purpose." Shiloh sighed, "I'm begging you to start texting me."

"But I am truly sorry, moon. But, you can't blame me this time, you invited me over." He smiled.

Shiloh scoffed, throwing a small pillow that sat in a nearby chair, towards him.

"Shut up." She groaned.

She stood up from her desk, grabbing her notebook and sat down next to Ricky on her bed.

"I only invited you over because I think I got the hang of this songwriting thing."

"Is that so?" Ricky asked, "This was supposed to take us all year."

"Well, let's just see how bad—"

"It's gonna be good." Ricky reassured.

"Or bad" She continued, "this song is going to be and maybe, it will take us all year."

Shiloh grabbed her AirPods from her bedside table, taking out the left one and handing it over to Ricky.

Shiloh grabbed her phone and turned to face Ricky, "Look, I already told you I don't know how to write a song so it may sound a little wordy."

"Anything you have to say, I want to hear."

Shiloh have Ricky a small smile as she placed the right AirPod in her ear.

"You clean these things?"

"Yes, you idiot, now listen."

She pressed play on the melody that Ricky had sent her and held her notebook close as she began to sing the lyrics off of her notebook.

A simple song they would later call Someday, hoping that someday their love could be oh so ordinary.

"Wow." Ricky smiled.

"I think I'm a little less confident in singing a solo after hearing you sing, but..."

"Come on, you were great." Ricky smiled, his eyes looking down at her as she rested her head in , looking at her, "You have a gorgeous voice, baby."

With a soft smile, she looked up at him, her eyes locking onto his.

Ricky's fingers gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. Shiloh's fingers tentatively reached up to cup Ricky's cheek, her touch feather-light against his skin.

Closing the distance between them, she pressed her lips against his in a soft, lingering kiss.

Her fingers gently tracing Ricky's jawline as if to capture the moment forever. Ricky's arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer as if he never wanted to let go.

The kiss deepened. Shiloh's fingers, once tracing Ricky's jawline, found their way to the nape of his neck, tangling in the soft tendrils of his hair.

They were perfectly golden.
