FOUR. our sceret plan to make love last forever

EVERYONE IN the Love Club was different. They had different backgrounds, different styles, different attitudes, but at the end of the day it was a group of friends who wanted to let people know that it's safe to speak to your fellow peers about what you like, hate, love, or getting those feelings out there.

There was Shiloh Molina, the creator of the club. Evie Fernandez, the co-creator, Ashley Yang, the shy yet fairly confident one, Madison Gregg, tells you how it is, and Jenna Russet, the girl who never let anyone down.

That's why EJ came to her with the best idea he deemed fully possible and foolproof.

It had been early in the morning. EJ sat outside holding a East High coffee cup in his hands when he spotted Jenna, Ashley, and Madison walked towards the cafeteria.

He stood from his spot, jogging slightly in hopes to catch her and not spill his drink.

"Hey, Jen." He called, "Ash, Mads." He said, acknowledging the others.

"Hey, Rocket Man. Excited for today?" Jenna asked.

"That's what I need to talk to you about. If you don't mind."

Jenna turned to the others, "Please get my orange juice. It's all I ask."

Madison nodded and dragged Ashley away, leaving EJ and Jenna alone.

"How can I help you?" She asked.

"I need a huge favor."

"That's what I'm here for."

"Great, can't back out of it now." He sighed, "So, Shiloh has to be Anna because Corbin Bleu said so, but we all know that she's not gonna audition. So, I need you-"

"Hold on. Why does Shiloh have to be Anna?" Jenna asked, "The only time I've ever seen Shiloh on stage was for the club. There's no way she's gonna be Anna and what do we do when she gets the part? She's most likely gonna back out."

"That's when Ricky comes into play. She'd do anything for Ricky and he's gonna do anything for her. Once he gets the part of Kristoff, also something we have to do, and she's Anna there's no way they're backing out of this."

"Okay, great start." She smiled, "But it has no end. Shiloh has to at least sing in front of us and with the others to make her audition seem legit."

"I have a twelve step plan. I was up all night working on it. I haven't slept."

"Okay." Jenna sighed, taking the cup from his hands on dumping the coffee on the ground, "Why don't you get a quick nap in before auditions and I'll worry about getting Shiloh to audition, okay?"

"I've stayed up all night working on my plan and you want to take it away from me?" He asked.

"Have a nice nap, EJ." Jenna smiled, handing the mug back and made her way to the cafeteria.

Was EJ's twelve step plan actually foolproof? Likely not. EJ could only hold onto hope. It felt wrong giving Shiloh and Ricky a part and not really auditioning for it. But Jenna had a point, if you wanted Shiloh's "audition" to feel real, they had to act like it was.

Under no circumstances could Shiloh find out that she was given the part of Anna because some celebrity said so.

If they wanted this to work, they had to make everything fall into place. Nothing could ruin this plan.

SHILOH SAT outside the Honeycomb cabin. Her white floral dress (when she stood) would almost touch the ground, with short sleeves. She began to tie her shoes, her beat up white Nike.

She did sleep on the thought of auditioning, but she still hadn't decided if it was something that she really wanted to do.

She never been in a musical and she found no need to be in one. What Ricky said to her the night before had been very sweet and it would give them a reason to stay joint to the hip for the two weeks they would be at camp.

But, she was also being filmed for a documentary that would blast two weeks of her life for everyone to see.

She had a lot to think about before considering the musical. She didn't know if she was truly as talented as what Ricky made her seem to be. She knew that anyone at auditions would be way better than her. She felt like she was going through what Jenna had during Beauty and the Beast. That she didn't deserve the role and she didn't want people to think it was handed to her because of who she was.

"Shiloh!"

She glanced up and saw Victoria jogging her way.

"Good morning." Shiloh smiled, "Excited for auditions?"

Victoria smiled, "No. I'm not even auditioning. I convinced your friend Jenna to let me play the piano for the show, but that's not what I wanted to talk to you about."

Shiloh nodded, waiting for her to continue.

"Your friend; the one with the braids. What's her name?"

"Gina. Gina Porter. She's a junior at East High." Shiloh answered, "Why?"

"I was curious." She said, playing with her hands, "She's dating that EJ dude right?"

"Yeah, for a couple of months I think."

"Longer than you and Ricky?"

"No. Way less. What's with the questions?"

"I just wanted to know if Gina was cool."

Shiloh nodded, standing from her spot and dusted off her dress. Victoria had always come to Shiloh whenever she needed something. It didn't matter if it was sisterly advice or something Love Club related (which was rare); she always came to Shiloh. She trusted her.

"Cool?" Shiloh questioned, "That's it?"

"Didn't you say she was serious about this acting thing? Do you think she'd be open to... new friends?" Victoria asked.

"I don't know about the new friend thing. But we'll never know if you don't try and talk to her. Gina's cool. She'll like you."

Victoria only nodded, jogging off when some other camper called her name.

Shiloh watched as she ran off. There had been something that Victoria wasn't telling her but she wasn't going to force the girl to spill everything.

She sighed and began walking to the cafeteria. She began thinking about the musical once more, but those thoughts didn't linger long.

She felt arms wrap around her torso and lifting her in the air. She yelped, the horrid smell of Throb capturing her nostrils as Ricky spun the girl around causing the two of them to almost fall.

Gina hadn't been too far behind the couple. She and Ricky had talked about starting over and how the chocolates thing would cease to exist from this point on.

But something about Ricky and Shiloh stuck with her. They seemed too good to be true. If Ricky didn't meet Shiloh or if Shiloh didn't make the Love Club... where the hell would they all be? Would Ricky find Shiloh anyway? Would he have gotten over Nini? Things like that wouldn't be answered because there was no way of knowing.

Ricky and Shiloh seemed perfect for each other.

Though dating EJ and liking him for who he was, it could never be what Shiloh and Ricky have and maybe that's what Gina wanted. She wanted to feel the love that Ricky and Shiloh had for each other.

Gina continued her slow pace watching as Ricky and Shiloh laughed about something she couldn't quite catch.

Meanwhile, Victoria had been working up the courage to talk to Gina.

Victoria if ever crush had been on Winona Judd and thought it was odd that the country singer had been her gay awakening.

Victoria had passing crushing, nothing to serious once she got to know the person. She needed to talk to Gina to even think if this crush on her felt real.

She finally began walking towards the girl. Shaking her hands to try and get rid of some nerves.

"Gina, right?"

Gina turned slightly, continuing her walk as she looked over at Victoria who was catching her pace.

"Yeah, you're Tori right? Shiloh's sister?"

"Yeah." Victoria chuckled, trying to figure out how to move in from this introduction, "So, are you auditioning for the musical?"

Gina nodded, laughing at her joke, "Duh. I'm going for gold."

Shiloh glanced back and saw Gina and Victoria talking, the two of them close by.

"Excited for auditions?" Ricky asked.

"Didn't say I was auditioning."

"You didn't sleep on it?"

"I did sleep on it." Shiloh smiled, "I think I woke up singing Love Is an Open Door."

"If that's not your sign to audition then I don't know what is. Come on," He whined, "You as that one girl and me as that guy with the hair. It's perfect."

Shiloh furrowed her brows, nodding slightly, "You do know their names don't you?"

"Of course." He smiled, "Kurt and Annie. The two leads. Or is it the two guys? Are they friends? Enemies? Lovers?"

Shiloh smiled, grabbing Ricky's hands, "When we get home we're going to watch a lot of movies."

After eating breakfast and Ricky trying one last time to get Shiloh to audition; the time finally came.

Ricky had rushed off, telling. Shiloh that he had to go get something that was vital for his audition.

Jenna held her clipboard close and sighed. She'd never done anything like this before. She loved theater and would do anything to be on that stage. She had gotten so use to going to auditions and quitting before she even got a callback, but she had actually gotten the lead in the show. Directing seemed so easy for Ms. Jenn. Jenna only hoped it was easy for her.

"Nervous?" Shiloh asked.

"More than you know."

"Don't worry. You've done this before. This isn't new territory for you." Shiloh smiled.

How Jenna wished what she was saying was true.

Jenna shook the last of her nerves before heading on stage with the choreographer, Val.

"Hi, I'm Jenna Russet. I'm one of your Love Club camp counselors and you're co-director of the musical."

Madison nudged Evie's side, "Did you know she was directing with Corbin Bleu?"

"No." Evie whispered, "This is a big deal for Jenna. Directing a musical with an actual actor."

"This is Val, our choreographer and our lovely director, EJ Caswell."

"No Corbin Bleu?" Ashlyn asked.

"Oh, yeah. He's directing a show about the show. It's confusing." Gina explained.

"You knew that they were directing?" Ashley asked.

"I only knew EJ was directing."

"Circle up." EJ called.

Everyone gathered in a circle, hand it hand.

"Now, our wonderful Love Club camp counselor, Shiloh Molina, will be giving us a very warm and welcoming speech." EJ said.

Shiloh glanced up, "Are you serious?" She asked in a hushed tone.

EJ only held his smile and Shiloh sighed, "This is all for fun, you know?" Shiloh smiled, "It's no different than doing a show at your local theater or at school. The cameras that'll be here will be out of sight and mind if you are having one of the best summers you can. Remember, it's all for fun, no matter what happens."

EJ gave Shiloh a soft smile before thanking her. He closed his eyes and began singing Do You Want to Build a Snowman?. It didn't last long. Ricky came into the lodge with his hands in the air and a snowsuit on.

"Frozen time! Let's go!"

"Now that's tradition." Carlos smiled.

"Where's Mr. Bleu?"

The group dispersed after that and Jenna caught Shiloh's arm.

"How come you didn't tell any of us that you were directing?" She asked, "This is huge!"

"Yay me, you know, but that's not important right now." Jenna said, "I need you to sing this to see if it's right for auditions."

Shiloh furrowed her brows as Jenna handed her the lyrics to For the First Time in Forever.

"Why wouldn't this be right? I'm sure this plus Do You Want To Build A Snowman are fine. Besides, I think I'm going audition. Hopefully I'm like one of those tiny little bolder people."

Jenna shook her head slightly and held furrowed brows, "You're going to audition?"

"Let's call it a early birthday gift for Ricky."

Shiloh handed the lyrics back to Jenna and left the girl alone.

"Oh!" Shiloh turned, "Congrats on directing. You're going to kill it."

After reassuring Jenna that nothing bad could possibly happen, the actual auditions began.

It shocked the majority of the people that knew her when Shiloh walked across that stage singing the songs. Actually auditioning on her own. She wasn't helping anyone, she was doing this because she wanted to... also because of Ricky.

Once she stepped off that stage, Ricky pulled her in for a bone killing hug.

Once that agonizing part was over came the scripts that EJ and Jenna didn't have. Maddox suggested that they do a dramatic reading of the lyrics which was the best idea they had thus far.

Though that didn't last long when Jet had walked in sang his song and left without another word.

If you asked Shiloh, everything turned out pretty good.
