Country fun evening with Broppy and find out what Branch was doing before he got there.

Delta and Poppy were outside at the grill, Delta was drinking a beer while Poppy drang an ale and they were talking. Gust had went to town for a couple of things and Branch, Hickory and Trollex were sitting on the side porch drinking and watching the farm and the girls grill.

''So how was your little detour visit?'' Asked Trollex to Branch.

''It was ok brought back old memories.'' He said sipping his beer.

''So how was the old man?'' Asked Hickory rocking in the chair.

''What do you mean?'' Asked Branch playing it cool.

''You know damn well what we mean.'' Hickory said snorting.

''You went to go visit Poppy's dad to see how he was doing.'' Trollex said.

''And to be buddy buddy with him and to make sure he was ok because if things do go south for Poppy and Creek, he might be more open to you and Poppy being together.'' Hickory guessed.

Branch was shocked and stared at them. ''Did you follow me or something?"'

''No but think about it your with Poppy and he was the other part of the reason why you left, he didn't want you to see Poppy.'' Trollex said hearing the story before.

''So quit beating around the bush.'' Hickory said.

Before Branch could answer Poppy came over hugging and kissing his cheek. ''What are you guys talking about?'' She asked.

''Nothing guy stuff.'' Branch said pulling her sideways on his lap she giggles and blushes.

Suddenly they heard laughing and looked to see Gust with a pretty orange troll with light blue hair both riding a large spider horse and came up to the deck with a stop.

''Howdy y'all!'' Shouted the young female country troll.

''Hey Holly Darlin' how are you doing?'' Called Delta hugging her.

''Great I heard your doing your famous BBQ Ribs and Gust invited me, plus there is the country party tonight in town.'' Holly said.

''Well dangity doodily! We'll be there won't we Hick?'' She called.

The four went down and Hickory came over tipping his hat. ''Well a party sounds good to me as long as Delta's there.'' He kisses her cheek.

''Oh Holly you remember Synth's uncle Trollex.'' Gust introduced.

''Yes I do great to see you again.'' Holly smiled at Trollex.

''Thanks.'' He smiled.

She then saw Branch and her eyes lit up. ''Well I'll be darned its Branch!'' She squealed.

''Holly!'' Branch shouted as they ran up and hugged each other, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck.

Poppy felt her heart drop she would be lying saying she didn't mind them hugging.

''Holly Darling its been an age.'' He smiled.

''Yes it has and your looking good.'' She smiled pulling away.

''Oh Holly I'd like you meet my girlfriend Poppy.'' He went over and pulled Poppy next to him. ''Poppy this is Holly Darling one of my friends after I moved away.'' He said happily.

''Oh woah Branch she is beautiful, about time you found a girl, Holly Darling and are you coming tonight to the party?'' She asked hugging Poppy.

''Yeah if you guys want me.'' She said.

''Of course I know I do, so do all of the others but first we need to find you an outfit.'' Holly said.

''I might have some clothes that will work.'' Delta said smiling.

''Great lets get you to look country-- Gust give Branch one of your outfits.'' Holly called as her and Poppy went in.

''And someday she is gonna be my wife.'' Gust said shaking his head.

''May god have mercy on your soul.'' Hickory teased.

Shortly Branch came down dressed in a western outfit a brown vest (Like Hickory's) that revealed his chest and torso and he wore brown pants with a big white cowboy hat and he came out and got giggles from Delta. ''Aww a real country boy.''

Supper was done when Holly came to the stairs. ''Everyone my I present Country Poppy!''

Poppy came down in a pink and white flannel crop top with snug cloth pants her hair was in two pigtails and a medium brown hat, she posed. Branch's mouth dropped, she was so hot and looked amazing he felt himself getting hard and drooling.

''Too much?'' She asked.

''N-No you look great.'' He stuttered.

''Well then y'all lets eat.'' Delta called.

They all sat at the table eating ribs and corn on the cob with bread and they enjoyed it. Delta and Hickory did the dishes while Gust and Holly were talking with Trollex and Broppy. Later the group all headed to town, the sun was setting and they got to town to see stringed up lights giving the town a glow and they saw porch lights on and they saw country trolls, laughing, talking and having fun, kids playing and they saw Growly Pete talking to a few older trolls as well.

''Woah this is great!'' Poppy praised she was sitting next to Branch holding his hand.

''Yep we have these parties once a week and at the end of the harvest.'' Delta said.

They came to the big barn and they all went in and saw trolls dancing. '' Yep sometimes we have parties with other trolls.'' Holly said.

''Poppy!''

She turned to see her friend DJ Suki there. ''Suki what are you doing here?"' She hugged her friend.

''Well Branch didn't want his buddy Trollex to be lonely so he invited me.'' She smiled she was dressed in blue pants and a tank top and went over to Trollex who smiled at her blushing.

''Trollex.'' He kisses her hand.

''Suki.'' She smiled as they got lost in the crowd.

''Enjoy guys!'' Holly said pulling Gust with her as they started dancing and Hickory and Delta went to mingle with the others, leaving Broppy by themselves.

''Care to show off those dance classes you took in school?'' Asked Branch who tips his hat and kisses her hand winking at her.

''Absolutely! But can you keep up Twinkle Toes?'' She teased kissing his cheek.

''Your on.'' He grins as they held hands and went into the crowd.

They free style danced along with the rest having a blast. They held each other as they danced showing off, they held hands and they spun around letting go and doing their own dance, Poppy was twirling and swaying her hips side to side she took off her hat lifting it in the air. ''Yeehaaaa!!!!'' She squealed. Branch watches her laughing and he felt himself getting hard just watching her body and everything but she was beautiful and knew how to dance.

Holly came and pulled Poppy to the floor and Delta and the others joined as the song 'Runaway Romance came on and they all started doing their own dance having a blast, DJ and Trollex joined in and Broppy saw country trolls linking arms and dancing. Holly linked arms with Poppy as they hopped and spun in a circle and both laughing and enjoying the evening, then all the males did that to their partners Branch and Poppy were dancing, Branch tapped his feet as they all started square dancing together having fun.

They were up against Hickory and Delta and it was a contest to see who would win the square dance, both couples dancing hard finally Delta and Hickory gave up making Broppy the square dancing winners.

Later they started playing a slow song and after resting Branch went over and took Poppy's hand and they started slow dancing to A Thousand Years.

Both stared into each others eyes, Branch had his arms around her waist as she had hers on his shoulder. ''I love you Poppy.'' He smiled adoringly.

''I love you too Branch.'' She said in a dream like state both dancing slowly she rested her head on his shoulder taking in his warm form and being happier then ever, there was no place she would rather be.

Branch loved this moment and nuzzles her shoulder as well, both caught up in the dance that they didn't notice their friends watching them as they sat this first slow dance out.
