Chapter 2
Mr. Brooke was deeply upset and unsure how to rescue his daughter Aurelie from the kidnapper. He needed to identify the secret agent who was being followed. He decided to seek help from Samandra and Wrivan. He called Bryon and urgently requested, "Hey Bryon, could you please do me a favor? My daughter Aurelie has been missing for 2 hours.
An anonymous caller informed me that she is with them. They've threatened to harm Aurelie if I involve the police. I don't know what to do."
Bryon responded, "Oh sir, don't worry. I'm currently out due to some work. I'll try to locate Aurelie, but I'm not sure if I can. You should inform Wrivan and Samandra; they might be able to help you with their skills." Mr. Brooke agreed, "Yes, I'm going to do that."
Bryon continued, "I know a criminologist who is quite intelligent and currently working. She might be able to help you locate Aurelie and identify the perpetrator as well."
Relieved, Mr. Brooke said, "Thank God. Please quickly call her and ask her to come." With that, he ended the call and set out to find Samandra and Wrivan.
While searching, Mr. Brooke encountered Samandra and shared, "Samandra, did you see Aurelie?" Samandra said "I tried calling her, but there was no answer." Mr Brooke exclaimed the situation, Samandra, shocked and surprised, joined Mr. Brooke in his search.
Mr. Brooke then suggested, "Can you call Wrivan? No, wait, I'll call him." Samandra thought to herself, "Thank God he didn't ask me to call that spoiled idiot." Mr. Brooke dialed Wrivan, who was about to leave for his place in his Lamborghini.
He informed Wrivan of the situation, including the startling news, "Actually, sir, before we find Aurelie, have you seen Vance? I haven't seen him anywhere." Surprised, Mr. Brooke replied, "Before we find him, let's first locate Aurelie."
As they continued their search, a car came dangerously close to them but managed to stop just in time. A woman stepped out of the car and inquired, "Are you Mr. Brooke?"
Mr. Brooke caught sight of her stunning face for a moment and inquired, "Yes, who are you?" She replied, "I'm Molly. Bryon texted me to assist you, so I came here."
Mr. Brooke acknowledged, "Oh, okay. Yes, I need your help. First, this is the number I received the call from. Can you track Aurelie's location using this number or her own number?"
Molly confirmed, "Yes, I can. Give me a few minutes to locate her." After a brief period of typing on the laptop, she announced, "Done. It shows the location as Fiver Street."
Wrivan was taken aback and exclaimed, "Wait, what? That's my place!" Everyone was stunned. Mr. Brooke questioned Wrivan, "So, young man, are you the agent?" Wrivan burst into laughter and replied, "Me? No way. I think someone is playing tricks here."
After pondering for a moment, Mr. Brooke added, "Well, your parents are skilled professional mafias. I don't believe you could be the culprit. It's someone toying with my emotions. Let's go there first and see." Samandra chimed in, "Yeah, I don't think this useless person could be a secret agent for sure," with a smirk.
Wrivan retorted, "As if you would!" Mr. Brooke sighed and replied, "This is not the time to argue. Let's first go to Fiver Street and retrieve her before something terrible happens."
They all piled into Wrivan's Lamborghini, with Molly and Samandra in the back seat and Wrivan and Mr. Brooke in the front. Upon arriving, they dispersed to search the premises. They rang the doorbell, and Wrivan's apprehensive strict mother, Mrs. Parker, opened the door.
She was startled to see Mr. Brooke and the others. She inquired, "Why are you all here? Oh, my dear Samandra, how is your mom? I must come and visit her. You look so elegant in that black dress, just like me when I was young..." She began to gossip.
Annoyed, Mr. Brooke cleared his throat to regain attention and requested, "Mrs. Parker, I think Mr. Parker is busy, but would it be alright if I search your house?" He recounted the incident to her, and Mrs. Parker replied, "Of course, no problem at all. Please proceed straight ahead. But I'm shocked about how she ended up here."
Mr. Brooke responded, "I'm unsure about it myself."
They all scattered and began to search for Aurelie. To their utter shock, they discovered her unconscious in the backyard. Her mouth was bound with a black cloth, and her hands were tied with a rope.
Mr. Brooke swiftly untied her after carrying her inside. Samandra hurried to the kitchen to fetch some water, which she then used to revive Aurelie. Upon regaining consciousness, Aurelie exclaimed, "Ahhhhhhh, Oh my God, where am I? When I was looking for Samandra, a powerful force overcame me, and then I fainted. I don't remember anything." Mr. Brooke reassured her, "Thank God you're safe now. I'll find the culprit soon."
However, Aurelie pushed Mr. Brooke away, retorting, "No need! You never cared about me or my mom when you left us." She stormed off with Samandra, leaving Mr. Brooke deeply troubled.
In Samandra's quarters, Samandra inquired, "Why do you hate Mr. Brooke? He's your father, after all."
Aurelie raised an eyebrow and retorted, "Oh yeah? Because he abandoned me and my mom when I was a kid. I hate him. You have no idea how much my mom suffered after he left. She stood strong and supported me through all the hardships. That's why I hate him."
Samandra attempted to reason, "Well, you don't know the reasons behind his difficult decision. Perhaps there were problems you weren't aware of that led him to leave." Aurelie rolled her eyes and dismissed her, saying, "Whatever."
At Wrivan's place, he tried to call Vance, but there was no response. Later, he spotted Vance entering his room and questioned him, "Vance, where were you, man? I've been trying to reach you."
Vance responded, "Um, I was waiting at school. Remember, I mentioned the assignment from Mr. Bryon about locating the martial art shots?" Wrivan acknowledged, "Yeah?" Vance explained, "I was working on it. Sorry, man, I couldn't get back to you."
Perplexed, Wrivan expressed all the day's events, but Vance remained unfazed. Wrivan probed, "Hey, why aren't you shocked? Aren't you concerned about Mr. Brooke? Aurelie didn't even care about him; she just left, you know!"
Vance replied, "I understand. You know Mr. Brooke left her when she was a kid, so, yeah." Wrivan persisted, "But there must be a reason behind it. Anyway, I've got to go. My father is summoning me for some work. And don't forget, there's a party tomorrow. Just come, okay?" Vance assured him, "Yeah, yeah, sure."
Inside Mr. Brooke's library, he rested his hand on his head, contemplating the current situation. He searched for the letter he had seen earlier that day.
Suddenly, he found it and seized it, thinking, "I don't know what's written here. Oh God." Upon opening it, he gasped, covering his mouth and muttering, "No, no, no. Is it about Wrivan and Samandra? What's in this letter?"
He began to read it aloud, "Hello, Mr. Brooke. Here you are again. Today, I have to tell you about Wrivan and Samandra, and an electrifying event you detest the most: 'LOVE.' Yes, don't be shocked, but this will happen. Next, your special second child. I know you're eager to know, but I won't say. Goodbye!"
With that, the letter fluttered away. Mr. Brooke felt extremely frustrated, unsure of what to do. He contemplated calling Wilder but then thought, "Holy moly, why on earth am I calling that utterly useless nut again?"
