Lynn and ava were in the backyard of the loud house practicing their kickboxing.

Lynn: c'mon ava give me your best shot!

Ava: you got it!

Lynn and ava continue to give it their all until they gave each other a double punch to the face, ending it in a stalemate and knocking each other to the ground.

The two got up and laughed.

Lynn: (smiles) man I felt that one, that was a fierce punch ava.

Ava: (smirks) thanks, you're not so bad either.

Ava checked her phone for the time and saw it was 7:59pm.

Ava: oh man! It's almost dinnertime! My parents are gonna kill me if I'm late, gotta go lynn! See ya!

Lynn: bye ava see you tomorrow!

Ava left.

Narrator: with ava.

Ava road her bike almost halfway through the neighborhood, the sun has already gone down and the moon have risen. Ava cursed under her breath as she was late for dinner. Finally made it to her house, ava noticed that the front door was slightly open.

Ava: (confused) huh? Why is my door slightly opened like that? It's not like my folks to leave it open like that.

Ava then shrugs it off before going into her house, then she gasped in shock to find the living room a huge mess, the tv and glass coffee table was broken, the couch was flipped over and multiple holes in the walls.

Ava: what the heck?! Mom? Dad?

Ava searched the living room, no sign of them. She searched the kitchen, no sign of them. Ava searched the dining room, which looked like a tornado hit the place. She found them....but they were laying on the floor, not moving.

Ava: Mom! Dad!

Ava rushes over to her parents, she gasped in terror at the sight of them. They were pale, wide open lifeless eyes, multiple holes in both their chest and a huge puddle of red liquid under them.

Ava: (slowly panicking) no...please no!

Ava thought she was having a nightmare and wanted to wake up but it wasn't...her parents were lying in a pool of their own blood...dead.

Ava sobbed on the bodies of her dead parents.

Then she heard a deep male voice.

???: looks like we've found the jewels and money boys.

Three new voices laughed in response.

Ava saw them. Four robbers, two fat, one slightly skinny and one muscular. All wearing ski masks and carrying bags full of money and jewels. It didn't take too long for them to notice ava.

Robber: (smirks) well guys looks like we got some company left.

Ava looked at the four robbers in fear then in absolute anger.

Ava: (enraged) how could you?! How could kill my parents?!

Robber#2: well...we were robbing their house, we warned them to give us the money and jewels so no one would get hurt.

Robber#3: but sadly little girl, they wouldn't agree to our terms. (Smirks)

Robber#4: (smirks sadisticly) so...we had to put them to sleep...

Ava snared in anger.

Robber: hey if it makes you feel any better, we could kill you right now so you can join your parents in death, how does that sound? (Grins as he points his gun at ava)

Ava was both scared and angry. Scared because she was going to die and angry because these scumbags killed her parents. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably, she didn't want to die, she didn't want to die, she wanted to live...

Then something snapped inside her.

The robbers were staring at ava in confusion as ava was shaking uncontrollably. Then the robbers gasped as they saw something horrifying...as bone like claws started sprouting out of ava's knuckles with a bit of blood. Then ava looked at the robbers with tearful rage filled eyes as she lets out a loud roar.

Ava: RRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

Ava then lunged at the closest robber (the fat one) and jabs her new found claws into his neck, making him choke as he fell to the floor with blood spilling out of his neck, dead.

The three robbers looked at her in fear, then in anger.

Robber: shoot this freak!

The robbers took out their guns and shot ava multiple times but ava didn't go down as the bullet wounds she got closed up like they never happened. Ava charged the second fat robber to the ground and repeatedly slashed his stomach until his blood and guts were visible. She then attacks the slightly skinny robber by slicing off his head. She turns her attention to the muscular robber, who had fear written all over his face. He drew a knife since he was out of bullets in his gun. He went to slash ava but ava sliced off his hand holding the knife, he screamed in pain as he decided to run out of the house with his loot, not wanting to get killed.

Ava stood there frozen as she gazed at the claws, stained with blood then she looked at the dead bodies of the three robbers and back to the dead bodies of her parents. Ava was full of despair as she shed no more tears, her claws retracted while she walks out of the dining room, into the living room and picks up the phone to call 911.

991, what's your emergency?

Ava: (spoke in a depressed tone) my house has been robbed, four robbers, three of them are dead, one has escaped and my parents are dead...

We're on our way.

Ava hangs up her phone and slowly goes upstairs to her room and packs up for her things in two huge backpacks. She took her 5,000 dollar prize money out of her secret hiding place as she pack that up.

She couldn't stay at her house anymore.

Downstairs, she packed a photo of her and her parents as she went out the door, getting on her bike and carrying her two backpacks full of her stuff. She rides away from her house, not looking back as a storm was coming tonight.

Narrator: at the loud house.

Lynn was on the couch as she was watching mixed martial arts on the television.

Lynn: (cheered) yeah! Knock his block off, whooo!

Lincoln comes downstairs.

Lincoln: hey lynn.

Lynn: hey lincoln. How's the homework coming along?

Lincoln: (groans) I got it done. It was murder and I have two weeks of assignments coming to my house until suspension is over.

Lynn: you can handle it.

Thunder roared outside.

Lincoln: looks like it's raining tonight.

Lightning flashed and thunder roared as rain started to drizzle outside.

Lynn: it is.

A loud pounding on the front door was heard.

Lincoln: I'll get it.

Lincoln heads to the front door and opens it.

Lincoln: hello can I help you-OH MY GOD! (Freaks out)

Lynn hops off the couch and ran towards her brother.

Lynn: lincoln what's going on?! Who's at the door-GASP!!!

Outside of the front door was lynn's friend, ava jones, who was wet from the rain, covered in blood and bruises.

Ava: (spoke in a cracked pleading voice) p-please h-h-help m-me...

Ava fell to the floor, unconscious. Lynn leans down next to her to find out what's wrong.

Lynn: ava? Ava?! Wake up! Who did this to you?!

Ava remained unconscious.

Lynn growled as she noticed ava's two backpacks full of her stuff outside.

Lynn: lincoln! Grabs ava's stuff while I take ava to lisa!

Lincoln: r-right!

Lincoln went outside, got ava's two backpacks and heads back inside as lynn brought ava inside and closed the door while the storm continues.
