She woke up with a start.  Where is it?  Where is Valentine's for my crush?

     She did not have time to make another one.  

      "Alix, time for school!"  She heard her father shout.

       She pulled a red sweater over her head and raced downstairs.

         Great, she was late for school, and without the special gift, she felt useless.

        "Alix, why the glume look this morning?"

    "It is nothing, Dad."

      Her brother teased her, "It is probably, because she does not have the guts to tell Max about the huge crush she has on him!"

       "It is not nice to tease your sister."

          "Sorry, sis."

           She noticed he had a smug look on his face as she headed off to school.
