Twilights POV

We watched in awe and horror at the thing in front of us, that had eliminated an entries Changeling assault group, point it's turret in our direction but nothing happened, then one of the Royal guards held his rifle tight, I saw that Celestia was shocked at the event that had occurred in the last five minutes, from a peaceful parade, then the changeling assassination attempt, and now, this...

But before we could say anything, Princess Luna got up and walked out the door, and she stood in front of it, looking at all it's features, we followed behind her, there we saw the extent of the damages, all the changelings shattered about, and two other Royal guards that were standing on the other side of the square, it looked like one of them was injured with a bullet wound to the shoulder.

They joined the other two that stood at our sides, "What is that ?" Asked Luna, "I'm not sure I've seen anything like that before, but I think we should check if it's friendly, and who it belongs to" said Celestia, then I saw the axe and sledge hammer on the front, it looked like the normal ones you'd find in most places.

Then the roaring sound, which is probably from an engine of sorts, suddenly stopped and the thing came to a complete stand still and silence filled the air.
There was a notable "shunt" sound as something came out the top....

Dom's POV

After I saw the group come out of the building to our front, I told Carlos to stop the engine, I saw Kelly looking at the group, I looked and saw four beings, holding rifles in golden armour, one was wounded with a shot to the shoulder, and two females, both with crowns, and seemed slightly taller then the others and had long, shining hair, but the white one has a light rainbow hair colour as the slightly shorter and dark blue one has hair that reminded me of stars at night, and several others who I saw before, I looked at them, they seemed terrified by the site of the Warrior, or looked in admiration at the fact it got rid of the danger quickly and with little trouble.

I looked back at Kelly, then I undid my headset connector to the radio, then grabbed the hatch handle and moved it with a satisfying "shunt" sound, and the hatch opened a little, letting the fresh air seep in and slightly cleared the smell of cordite, that was strong, (hey, a chain gun firing a couple of hundred rounds has a foul smell of cordite that chokes you, and when the hatches are sealed, the fans don't do anything).

I then pushed the hatch till it clicked once, meaning it was stuck upwards.

I then breathed in and lifted myself up to the top, sticking half of my head and chest out, I saw the surprise on all of humanoids faces, and one of the guards raised his rifle slightly, but not enough to be a direct threat.

I then undid my helmet straps and removed my helmet with my headset still attached to it, I then wiped my dark coloured hair and looked back at the group, 'better say something' I thought as things started to get a little awkward, but the purple one said "...ok, not what I was expecting..." And I chuckled.

"I'm sorry for the mess we made, we didn't actually want our first meeting to be at such dire situations, but I'm happy that we could help out, I'm 3033115 Private Bielby, but call me Dom, from the first battalion, the Yorkshire regiment of Her Majesties Armed Forces" I say, then the commanders hatch opens, and so does the drivers hatch, "we come here to talk" said Carlos, opening the hatch fully and locking it off.

Kelly gets up and one of the Princesses, dark blue one with a crescent moon on her crown, said "I am Princess Luna, this is thy sister, Princess Celestia, and we are pleased to meet thee, and we are thankful that you have stopped the Changelings, but thou must explain somethings to us" she said."and what is thou names ?"

Kelly nodded, "I'm 3031935 sergeant Kelly Johnson, commander of Warrior AFV, alpha 22-3, and that is our driver, 3033777 Private Carlos Bonilla, we would like to talk as well, but I think this mess should be cleared up first" he said, and Carlos nodded in agreement.

A guy in golden armour with a purple star on his armour ran up to the princesses, "your majesties, I've managed to get word to our forces, we will have several squads here within the hour, then we can start to clear up this place and restore peace" he said, "thank you, Captain, I want you to check on all the houses and see if everyone is ok" Celestia said. The guard nodded and ran off to the other side of the village.

"This is my helpful, and loyal student, Twilight, and her friends, Rarity, Apple Jack, Rainbow dash, Pinkie pie and Fluttershy" said Celestia, I nodded to them, "nice to meet you" I then stepped out of the warrior turret.

I walked off the warrior and I looked about then saw a 'Changeling' move to the side of the destroyed building, aiming its rifle at us, I quickly reached for my Glock, which was in its holster, "LOOK OUT !!!" I shouted and fired several shots at the Changeling, it fired one shot that me, but my Body armour stopped the round before it could do damage, all it did was knock me over, taking the wind out of my lungs.

"Dom !" Shouted Kelly, the group of girls gasped, and surrounded me on one side, I stuck my hand up, "I'm ok... Just abit winded, Body armour took the shot" I say, getting a sigh of relief from everyone, I then stood up, "that... That freaking hurt" I said, "Carlos, get your kit and check around the destroyed vehicle and building, see if there is anymore stragglers hiding around" said Kelly, Carlos nodded and looked back into the drivers hatch, he then lowered the chair and pulled out his webbing, he then put it on, removed his headset off his helmet, and grabbed his rifle.

"Dom, you think you can help him ?" Asked Kelly, "yeah sarge, I can help but I'm gonna hurt like hell later" I replied and put my Glock away, I then looked to Carlos, who grabbed my webbing for me. I put it on and placed my helmet back on, then removed my headset off my helmet and handed it to Kelly, who put it in the turret, heard the sound of the turret cage being moved and he returned a moment later with my rifle, he then passed it down to me.

"Cheers" I said and was about to walk with Carlos to the building we hit, but princess Luna and Twilight stopped me, "is thou ok ?, after being shot you should be resting" Luna said with concern, I chuckled slightly, "I'm fine, my armour took the damage, I did feel it through the armour however, I am curious about why you feel the need to check on my health" I said, "that bullet was aimed at princess Luna, you saved the princess without knowing it" said Twilight, "even if thou wasn't intentionally jump in the way of the bullet, I am very thankful to you" Luna added.

I bowed my head slightly, "I see, if it's all the same, I would do it again, but there is no need to thank me, I was only doing what I was trained to do, I am happy that I managed to save you though, Princess Luna" I say, then looked to Carlos, "I better go check the building, if you don't mind, your majesty" I said, then turned away and we looked though the building.

Carlos checked the upstairs and some of the first floor, I waited for him, then we moved through the ground floor, as we got out, I saw a wounded Changeling, it's blood flowing from a wound on its chest.

I ran up to it and saw it weakly look at me, "CARLOS, GET A MED KIT NOW !, THERE IS A LIVE ONE HERE !" I shouted to him, he nodded and ran to the warrior, I then moved the rifle away from the Changeling, then checked for any explosives, it was clear of anything that could be a threat, so I waited, and saw Carlos return a moment later with a med kit and the princesses with the others behind him, I grabbed the kit and opened it.

I grabbed a couple of bandages and antibiotics, then started to cover its wounds, I spoke to it, "hey, can you understand me ?" I asked, it nodded "...yes..." It said weakly.
"Do you have a name ?" I asked, whilst wrapping one of bandages around its chest, "why... Do you care... You shot at us... So why do you... Care ?" It asked, I smiled, "I'm asking because we all have a name, you are not a threat to me now, you can live through this, we may have fought each other, but you are still a living being" I say, it looks at me for a moment and says " I'm... Chip..." It hissed as I finished the last bandage and placed the antibiotics in a syringe, then injected it, "I'm Dom, I've stopped your bleeding, given you antibiotics to prevent infection, and now a tiny amount of morthine for the pain" I say and inject the "changling" with a small amount of morthine, it nodded at me and seemed to smile at me.

"Why did you help it ?, it tried to kill us and his comrade even shot you ?" Asked Rarity, "tell her why" I said to Carlos, "well, we are trained to save lives and use the appropriate amount of force to stop hostiles, but if they are not a threat, we save them because we are not monsters, it's a prisoner of war, and we don't mistreat POWs" Carlos explained.

I saw Celestia talk to her guards to take the prisoner to a location to be taken to a Prisoner of War camp, the guards nodded and walked away, I then noticed Kelly helping the wounded guard, and Princess Celestia walked up to him.

I saw a group of guards run into the village, and they aimed at us. This was going to be a possible fight, as most of the guards seemed like rookies, I held my rifle tightly but then princess Luna walked to e guards.
I just shook my head and walked back to the Warrior as Princess Luna explained to the guards that we were not a threat.

........After an hour........

I was sat on the turret, my rifle by my side, Kelly was looking at where we got hit, there was a small black mark around side that's as easy to wipe away, and pretty much no damage, not even a dent.

Carlos was looking at the girl, who I believe was called Fluttershy, but I decided to look at my armour, seeing the rifle round was stuck on my armour, "damn, this was the new Osprey model too, with several layers of liquid Kevlar sheets" I mutter, although the liquid sheets stayed in and didn't pour out, I didn't like the small hole in my armour, and the bruise underneath was the size of my fist, and started to hurt a bit.
"How's it ?" Asked Kelly, as Carlos looked in, "hurts like hell, man, why the fuck did I have to get shot ?" I say, "hey, I was talking about the armour" said Kelly, in a joking tone, I rolled my eyes "oh, ha ha" I replied.

Carlos chuckled a bit, "I love the banter" he said, I looked over to the princesses who were talking in a circle with Twilight, we couldn't hear them, but curiosity made it a bitch.

Then a guard came up to us "hey, I was wondering if you could explain, what this is ?" He said, as several more guards came up to us, wanting to know...

Luna's POV
I stood with my sister, twilight and her friends, talking about the matters with these... Beings... That came to our aid, "they fought off the changelings and destroyed one of their war machines with ease" said Apple Jack, "but they aided us when we needed it" said Twilight, "but ya must see that they could be a threat, one of 'em was shot and just got up, and the way that they acted as soldiers means they are capable of warfare, I dare say that they may even outmatch the Royal Guard" added Apple Jack.

"That one saved Princess Luna, even though he didn't realise it, and healed the wounded changeling, and another helped the wounded guard, they can't be that bad, and they were so awesome when they came in and blew everything up" said Rainbow Dash, "that's what ah mean, I've got nothing against them, but what if they turn to fight us ?, we may not be able to fight back" said Apple Jack.

Celestia looked at me, "how do you feel about them, sister ?" She asked, "you know what I will say about them, I believe we can trust them, as they seemed to be friendly enough, they can be fearful in battle, but thou should see their compassion to all sides after the battle, if thou believes in a better future, then we will need them" I finished looking back and saw several guards walk upto them.

Celestia sighed, and nodded, "then it's decided, we will talk with them and see what they want, and see of what help they maybe able to give us in our future fights against the changelings as this will not be an isolated event, more of these acts of aggression will follow in due time, so we must prepare" she said, then she got up and walked to them.

As we walked up to the three well armed beings, I overheard the one who saved my life, Dom, talk about the "Warrior".

DOM's pov

"... this is called the Rarden, a 30mm cannon that fires HE, APDS and DSRR ammunition types." I said and pointed to the last bit of the Warrior, the guards were curious about the armaments and were also surprised about the laser range finder that's integrated with the gunner and commander sights.

I saw the group of girls walk up to us, I whistled to the other two and we assembled at the front of the Warrior, something tells me that I'm probably going to have a new job... or arrested for something, hard to tell what's going to happen....
