Had this idea for a while and decided to do it. So here we go.

-3D POV-

It was a peaceful day in Azur Lane. Every shipgirl was doing her own things. Our main attention shifts towards the base of Ironblood, into one specific room where on her bed was sitting a certain mother with her eyes almost void of emotions hugging what looked like a teddy bear. The door to her room then opened and the one to walk in was the sister of Bismarck, Tirpitz.

Tirpitz: Friedrich, commander needs you in the auditorium with the others.

Friedrich: Why?

Tirpitz: There will be an announcement and she needs everyone to be there.

Friedrich: If it's not about the whereabouts of my son then i'm not coming.

Tirpitz: *sigh* Friedrich i know that you miss your son but it has been 10 years after his disappearance. You need to understand that your son is probably dead. Come on, let's go.

As they were about to leave everything started to shake.

Tirpitz: An earthquake?!

Friedrich eyes then widened and her mother instincs kicked in as she rushed out of the room with Tirpitz right behind her. After a minute she stopped in the courtyard and saw almost every shipgirl outside. Then something that looked like a gateway started to rise from the ground and when it stopped a man walked out of it and stopped and looked around as the passage went back into the ground and it fixed itself.(dead cells, hand of the king outfit but with a helmet to hide the face) When they looked at the person they saw that he seemed confused at where he was. Suddenly, to their shock a huge text appeared in the sky in front of the man.

[You seem confused at where you are. And I'm here to inform you that you're free. You've completed your task and I sent you home. Your master would be proud. You can keep your equipment, you deserved rest, farewell]

As the text dissapearence the man fell to his knees and screamed into the sky. Once again all of the shipgirls were shocked when the man took out a huge unknown to them weapon and stabbed one of the blades into the ground and sat on the ground leaning against it.

He then took off his helmet and everyone finally noticed 2 big red horns coming out of his head, he had black hair which covered his left eye a little and his eyes were gold(basically a male version of Friedrich der Grosse). He then once again looked around and when his eyes locked with Friedrich his eyes widened. He stood up and suddenly appeared in front of her with a trail of gold particles behind him and stared at her. Before anyone could do anything Friedrich did something no one expected. She hugged the man.

Friedrich: MY BABY!!!

The man simply laughed and hugged back.

???: You didn't changed one bit mother. It's good to seen you again but please put me down.

Friedrich: NO! You'll dissappear again!

???: *laughs* I promise i won't. So please put me down.

She, although reluctantly, put him down as he looked at her.

Friedrich: But where have you been, I thought you were dead.

???: Not exactly, I got sent to some strange place where I met my teacher and after finally killing the collector I got sent back here. And I'm not going back there, hopefully.

Friedrich: You killed someone?

???: More like slaughtered but yea.

Friedrich: Slaughtered?!

???: Yea, I think I have a bigger kill count then you considering all the enemies I slaughtered. And I'm pretty sure I killed ALL of them.

Friedrich: Oh God. *hugs him again but tighter* You had to go through all of that at such young age. Don't worry mama will protect you now.

???: No need. I'm old enough to protect myself.

Friedrich: But you're only 18.

???: Huh? But I'm 28. I've been in that place for 20 years.

Friedrich: But it was only 10 here.

???: Oh, Ok then. Also please remind me my name.

Friedrich: You, forgot your name?

???: Haha, yea, if you have almost no one to talk to you tend to forget certain things.

Friedrich: Oh, your name's Y/N der Grosse.

Y/N: Ok thanks. Now would you please lead me somewhere I can eat, I'm hungry as hell.

Friedrich: Of course.

She grabbed his hand and started to drag him to the cafeteria but he stopped and she turned to him. He didn't say anything but just raised his hand in the air and everyone looked in surprise when the weapon he stabbed into the ground flew into his hand and dissappeared when he caught it. He then looked at his mother and she continued to drag him to the cafeteria leaving a very surprised and shocked shipgirls. First one to get out of the shock was Eugen.

Eugen: Wait did Y/N just came back!?!?

With everyone out of their shock they rushed to the cafeteria only to see Y/N and Friedrich happily eating while chatting. They approached them and heard Y/N say something that made some of them chuckle a bit.

Y/N: -and you know what he did.

Friedrich: What?

Y/N: He just threw a fire granade on the ground to lit it on fire, grabbed his frying pan, the same he killed the enemies with mind you, took the meat that he bought from a merchant, put it it the pan and started to cook it. And it was happening WHILE the rest of the enemies were in front of us. One of them tried to attack him but I just killed him and the rest of them just waited for him to finish. When he did we just continued to slaughter them.

Friedrich: Your teacher sounds like an interesting guy.

Y/N: He was. God I'm gonna miss him.

Bismarck: Ahem.

They turned around and saw everyone looking at them.

Y/N: Oh hey biscuit.

Bismarck: *embarrassed* Huh?!

Y/N: What? Isn't it your name.

A few girls snickered at his response while Bismarck was getting angrier by the second.

Bismarck: My name is Bismarck. And here I thought you remained the same boy who respected me.

Y/N: I still do. Plus I'm not a boy anymore, I'm a man. Not fully that is.

Eugen: We can change that~ *licks lips*

Y/N: Sure.

Eugen: Wonderful~

Friedrich: On no you don't!

Y/N: What, wanna join? It's not like we're blood related.

Tirpitz: But the horns.

Y/N: Oh come on, do you really forgot what I looked like?

Tirpitz: Kinda. When you dissappeared the photos of you dissappeared as well.

Y/N then pulled out a photo out of his pocket and showed it to everyone. On the photo they saw Friedrich carrying a 8 year old blonde boy with green eyes.

Bismarck: Ok but Friedrich how did you recognized him if he looks completely different?

Friedrich: Mother instincs.

Y/N: I became like this when I appeared in that place. Not that I mind I look hot as hell~

Eugen: That you do~

Y/N then finished his meal and stood up and stretched and you could hear a few pops here and there. Just then they noticed that he was a bit taller than Friedrich. (There's no height information for them so imma make that up. So Friedrich is 6'2 and Y/N is 6'3 becauseif I rememberby lore she'sone of the tallest shipgirls)

Y/N: Oh that felt good. Now then. Let's go.

Eugen: Where?

Y/N: Your room. I'm gonna take the offer. *puts her on his shoulder* Someone else wants to join?

Roon: *raises her hand* ME! ME!

Y/N: Alright. *puts her on his second shoulder* *looks at Friedrich* Want to join?

Friedrich: But I'm yo-

Y/N: We're not blood related. So you joining or no?

Friedrich: *thinks for a bit* Screw it, I'm in.

Eugen: Alright I'll show you to my room.

And with that Y/N walked away with Eugen and Roon on his shoulders and Friedrich next to him. Back in the cafeteria stood a group of very blushing girls trying to process what just happened.
