I arrive home and see that Daniel and Lando are at the door. For a moment I sigh, but I notice in myself that I am no longer angry with Lando. Is it because Alex was having an affair? I park my car in my yard and get out. I slam the door and lock my car for a while, then I walk over to the boys.

'Sorry Lando, I'm sorry,' I apologize.

'No, I'm sorry. You don't have to apologize,' Lando says and pulls me into a hug.

'Say, maybe she should make up the door,' Daniel remarks. I chuckle and pull myself out of the hug, then walk over to the door and open it.

'Boys, come! If you would like to come with me to work you have to come now!' I call upstairs.

'Yes, we are coming!' I hear how they thunder down the stairs and they stand still in front of me.

'Great, come on we go,' I say and open the door, after which I step outside. They follow and Daniel closes the door. I open the car and take a seat behind the wheel. Lando comes to sit next to me in the passenger seat.

'Let's go!' shouts Daniel cheerfully, who drops himself in the back seat. I roll my eyes and accelerate, after which I drive away from my house.

Once I arrive at work I get out and the boys follow. I close the car and walk with the boys to the door.

'Please act like a grown-up person inside,' I command them, to which they nod. I take a deep breath and then walk into the building.

I walk to my office and set everything up for work. I turn on my computer and I take some papers out of the drawer. The boys are sure to get drinks. I throw my bag next to my desk on the chair and log in with my password on the computer. Then I get to work on my work.

'Joyce?' I hear my boss's voice ask.

'Yes, what is there?' I ask the boss and continue to work on what I am doing.

'You can stop working. Your work is done here. Your brother and his friend have made sure that you can go with them. They want to do fun things with you,' tell the boss. I am dumbfounded and get up.

'Uh... okay!' I say confusingly.

'Come Joyce!' says Lando, pulling me along. Daniel grabs my bag and together with them I leave again.

It's been a long time since Lando and Daniel made sure I didn't have to work. After they took me, we went back to my house and they sat with me behind the laptop to find a house for me, so that I would live closer to my family. Now I literally live next door to my parents and sisters. Weird!

I chose to quit my job and applied to high school. Now I work as a teacher and teach geography. The nice thing about my work is, my sisters are at the same school and so I teach them.

I don't care that I don't have a boyfriend now, but who knows, maybe I'll meet my true love later. And the nice thing is, in my holidays I can go with Lando for his training and competitions. What a nice life I have and a great life! I couldn't wish for more than this. That's how I live my life through the rest of my life.
