Chapter 9: Step 2

Sorry it takes so long for me to upload a chapter now. 9th grade is harder than I thought with so many homework. I will try my best to upload more frequently, so until I can do that, please be patience!

=====================================

Aira's POV

As expected, when I open my shoe locker, the amount of love letters have increased, and when some are opened, there are some senseless blackmail, trying to threaten me.

Rolling my eyes, I just walk towards my classroom, making sure everyone can see me throw the letters into the bin. Some of the boys' excitement immediately disappears, but the others only have a look of happiness, which is poorly hidden.

"Ai-chan!" Hearing someone running towards me, I step aside, letting Sho hit the ground. He stands up immediately, pouting. "Ai-chan! You are too cold!"

"You are a boy, not a girl." I said coldly, but the corners of my mouth turn up slightly.

"You say the same things as Kar-kun! Where is he!? Did he poison you with his words!?" He exclaims, and I can't contain the short laugh inside of me anymore.

Giggling, I hit his head. "I am not your sister, Sho-kun. And besides, Karma-kun is nothing but a jerk. He..." Stopping, I pretend to become upset for a split second before putting on my cold façade again, walking towards my seat.

He seems to notice the changes of my emotions, and quickly changes the subject. "By the way, Ai-chan, are those letters love letters?" He whispers loudly, winking playfully.

Rolling my eyes, I sit down, leaning my chin onto my hand. "I don't really care about them. They just care whether or not the girl is beautiful."

"And so you think you are beautiful? Give me a break, slut."

Hearing a high-pitched voice, I look behind Sho to find a bunch of girls with heavy makeup with a clearly dyed blond haired girl at the front with her skirt barely long enough to half of her thigh.

I ignore them, and instead ask Sho, "Sho-kun, are you sure this school is a prestigous school?"

"Why do you ask?" He asks back, clearly knowing what I want to do.

Shrugging slightly, I reply, "Well, because the definition of a slut doesn't really fit me. I mean, I don't wear makeup or dye my hair, and my skirt isn't short."

"Oi, what do you mean!?" The girl rages, slamming her hand onto my desk.

Looking at her with cold eyes, I stand up. "So you are admitting you are a slut? I wasn't even talking about you. But if you are going to call yourself one, I can call you that."

She grits her teeth together, yelling as she raises her hand, "You bitch! You are going to pay for this!"

She lowers her hand to slap me, but I just catch her wrist, squeezing her and causes her hand to go purple from the stop of blood flow. "If you can make me pay for it, do it." I whisper, pushing her away.

She stumbles backwards, her group of friends quickly supporting her. Sitting back down, I look at the others, causing them to look away in fear.

"You...you...just wait!" She screams, running away in anger and her friends glare at me before running after her.

"Don't you think doing this to them isn't this good? You are just making enemies." Sho asks, and I smile. "They are the ones who came for trouble. so I gave them some."

He sweatdrops and is about to answer when the bell rang. "Go back to your seat. Class's starting." I wave him away, closing my eyes tiredly.

Third Person's POV

When the teacher walks in, everyone quiets down and look at the box in his hands. "Min'na, today you will be changing your seats. Boys, come out first to pick a number and you will be sitting there for the rest of the year." He explains, pushing the box closer to them.

The boys stand up and line up in the center of the classroom, taking out a piece of paper one by one.

"Oh man, I am sitting in the center."

"Hey, I am sitting with you!"

"Can anyone tell me where this seat is?"

Chatters spread throughout the classroom, and everyone starts to move around. Sho stands up and looks behind him, frowning when he sees Aira sleeping.

Quickly walking over to her, he reaches out to wake her up. However, the second his hand touches in contact with her clothes, her eyes snap open and in just a second, he suddenly see a leopard pouncing on him.

Fear immediately hit him, and he falls to the ground, blinking rapidly to find a gun aimed at his forehead, Aira's eyes filled with...

Bloodlust!?

Before he can speak, the gun is already gone and Aira quickly pulls him up, smiling apologetically, but her eyes are filled with nervousness.

To the others, it looks like Aira accidentally tripped Sho when he tried to wake her up, but only the two of them really know what happened.

"Gomen, Sho-kun. But I don't really like people touching me." She apologizes, taking a step back.

He swallows thickly and quickly smile back, scratching the back of his neck. "It's fine. I understand."

When Aira sees the slight fear in his smile, but his eyes are still sincere, she relaxed.

"Heh, if you don't like people touching you, then why did you let Karma-kun? And even...kiss him?" Yui grins, and Aira's eyes darkened, but when she sees the teacher frowning, she ignores her, taking up her bag and walks past her.

She grits her teeth and tries to stop her, but Aira just escapes her grasp swiftly, taking out a number and walk over to the corner of the room next to the windows.

"Shimizu, shut up. This is not a place for you to say things like this." The teacher scolds her. "Go to your seat and remain quiet."

"But sensei, I—"

"If you don't know what shut up means, go buy a dictionary." Aira said out loud, smirking. "And by the way, my private life doesn't include you."

"I am not talking about you! I am more worried about Karma-kun! Who knows what you gave him to make him like someone like you!?" She screams, not caring if the teacher is watching as she races over to Aira, lifting up a hand.

She just catches her wrist effortlessly, her grasp tight enough to make Yui's hand become slightly purple. "So? To my knowledge, Karma-kun doesn't even like you. If he can, you would be dead by now." Aira continues smiling, throwing her away.

Yui stumbles backwards, hitting the table behind her. Aoi quickly helps her up, but anger and jealousy has already blinded her eyes.

"You bitch!" She yells, and tries to hit her again, but Aoi quickly stops her, whispering, "Yui, calm down. Sensei is still here."

And speaking of which, the teacher is already furious. He slams the table angrily and points to the door, exclaiming, "That's it! Shimizu, Murasakino, you are coming with me to see the principal!"

Yui immediately becomes nervous, and opens her mouth to argue, but Aira just yawns. "Okay, but just to be clear, she started it."

When Aira walks past Sho, he quickly asks worriedly, "Ai-chan, will you be okay?"

"It's just the principal. It is not like I can't handle him, so relax. I will be back." She grins, patting his shoulder.

"But..."

"Shimizu-san, if Aira said she can handle it, let her be." Gakushu suddenly said, but his eyes are looking at her gently.

"Thanks for believing me, Gakushu-kun. I will be going now." She smiles softly, leaving the room.

"Yui, you should also be going." Aoi said, pushing her out.

Yui huffs, stomping away angrily as she mumbles, "Let's see what you can do, Murasakino. After all, the principal knows my dad, and he won't not help me!"

So this is the end of this very very very very very very very very very late chapter, I will try to publish more chapters frequently, but just to be clear, this sequel will only have about 20-25 chapters, and the specials will be in the first book, so...cya!
