*2weeks Later*

"You can't let her get to you, people make bad choices when their sad or scared or stress"

Kurami said lowly to Yugi who was laying flat on stomach down on his bed.

"Kurami, I'm not going to tell you again. I'm not going to be in a relationship with someone who thinks badly of my friends or jump into conclusions. I'm not going to put up with it"

Yugi said burying his face to the pillow. Kurami let out a sigh before looking to her boyfriend Atem who was standing in the room listening to the conversation. Atem let out a sigh as he walked closer to the bed.

"Yugi, the reason I brought Kurami here is because you've been like this for two weeks. You say you don't want to be in a relationship with Mizuki but your action speaks louder"

He said gently to his best friend. Yugi remained quiet not bothering to look to the Pharaoh and Queen. Kurami cleared up her throat before speaking.

"Yugi, the bracelet has this power that allows me or anyone that beholds it to look into someone's past. Mizuki saw everything about you she was wearing the bracelet..."

"So that explains she nervous, she felt the anger and jealousy that was coming from Tea. What does any of that have to do with me?"

Yugi asked quietly.

"She's afraid that history will repeat itself and as you know, fate has a weird way of showing the true light. Mizuki believes her fate can't be sealed with you unless you get Tea out of the picture"

"I'm not abandoning my friends"

"Your friends will not always be there. Think about it, Tea given up her dream school for what? To help the Pharaoh find his lost queen, thinking she will be the one to be it. What if it was the other way around? What if the Pharaoh actually did went to the afterlife, would she still be here or would she leave?"

"Queen, I don't mean to be rude but get out of my room"

He said quietly. Kurami took in a sigh as she stood up from the bed looking to her boyfriend in defeat before looking to Yugi. As she made her way to the door with Atem following behind her, Yugi called out to her.

"And that why she let me kiss her? Because she already know how I am?"

Yugi asked curiously not bothering to get up. Kurami smiled at him sadly.

"No it's because she really liked you, remember when we first met she wasn't wearing the bracelet and she liked you right off the bat"

Yugi remained quiet signaling to Kurami that he was done talking. Atem was about to exit before looking to his best friend.

"If it makes you feel any better, Mizuki moved on. She has a boyfriend now. So now you won't feel stress about being in a relationship or not, just be her friend"

He said before exiting the room, unknowingly Yugi was in tears quietly crying before burying his face in the pillow.

*3 days later*

"I don't know if I should be there, I mean wouldn't it be awkward?"

Mizuki said sitting on the bed watching Kurami fix herself up for another date with Atem.

"Regardless I want you there. You're my best friend, so I want you to be there. I honestly want us to spend time together because you don't know when it will be my..."

Kurami said as she stop herself from continuing, she slowly looked to Mizuki who looked to her in surprise.

"Are you really planning on going to the afterlife with Atem?"

She asked in shock causing Kurami to blush as she turned around to face the mirror.

"I'm falling in love with him honestly"

"Have you told him?"

"I was thinking of telling him tonight at dinner"

"Wow, Kurami I'm so happy for you. You're actually gonna have a happily ever after"

She said causing Kurami to laugh.

"I would hope so"

"In that case, I would enjoy our every quality moment that we have left"

"So, enough about me. How are you and Conner doing?"

"Fine I guess"

"Just fine? I thought you would be happy with him"

She asked in concern for her sister.

"I am, well not as much as happy but just a distraction from that no good idiot"

She said slightly angry before letting out a sad sigh.

"I have it bad for him"

She said in defeat. Kurami stopped what she was doing and gently walked up to her sister placing her hand on her shoulder in comfort.

"Follow your heart"

"But what if my heart is wrong"

Mizuki said sadly.

"That's why we learn from the past and if Yugi didn't learn than that's on him. You stay you, remember that"

"Thanks Kurami"

She said with a smile.

"Anytime sis, now I'm off"

She said putting on her jacket.

"Have fun and good luck"

She said with a grin causing Kurami to smirk.

"Thanks"

*Dinner at the Restaurant*

"So did something happen that I wasn't aware about?"

Kurami asked with her arms crossed over her chest sitting across from Atem but he wasn't alone. Tea was sitting next to him glaring towards Kurami.

"Tea, found out we were coming to this restaurant and she begged me to take her because she's been wanting to try this place out"

He explained slightly annoyed that Tea was clinging on to his arm even though he kept brushing her off.

"I see. So of all days, you decided to intervene"

She said to Tea who glared at her harshly.

"You could have stayed home"

"I could say the same thing about you. Your presence here is killing me but I never mind a third wheel hanging around to hold my bags"

"Who are you calling a third wheel, you witch!"

Tea yelled causing some people to turn towards them.

"Tea behave yourself, treat my queen with respect or else you will be walking home"

Atem said causing her to hold her tongue. He then looked to Kurami as he held her hands with his.

"What was it that you wanted to tell me over the phone? You sounded really happy about it"

He asked with a smile trying to distract Kurami from Téa's presence. Kurami looked to him before shrugging.

"Another time my love, when they're is no rats around"

She said motioning to Tea who pouted.

*30 minutes*

"Tea did you bring your purse?"

Atem asked as he took out his wallet to pay for his and Kurami's dinner.

"Yeah, why?"

She asked happily at the fact Atem is finally talking to her at the end of their meal even though she tried getting his attention but his eyes were always on Kurami.

"Cuz you're paying for your meal"

"What?! I thought you were going to pay for my meal"

"No that would be ridiculous"

"But you payed for Kurami's meal"

She said with a whine causing Kurami to smirk at the scene before her.

"Because she's my girlfriend and you just tag yourself on to this date, now go and pay for your half which is $200"

"Ateeeemmmm but I don't have that much money"

Tea said whining once more.

"Then get started with the dishes"

He said pulling Kurami up from her seat as they exit the restaurant in hand.
