Kurami and Atem stood in front of Yugi and Mizuki.

"Is this for real?"

Mizuki asked in shock.

"Are you sure you guys aren't rushing into things?"

Yugi asked worriedly causing Atem and Kurami to laugh.

"Of course not, I'm, I mean we're ready"

Kurami said as she linked her hands with Atem with a smile.

"So we decided for our last day to spend it with friends, make one more memory last"

Atem said hoping for Mizuki and Yugi to understand. Yugi smiled as he let out a sigh.

"In that case, let's do it"

"Mizuki are you okay with this decision?"

Kurami asked to her sister. Mizuki sadly looked down.

"I'm not ready to say goodbye to you and I don't think I ever will. You're the only family I have, I don't have anyone"

She said sadly. Kurami sadly smiled.

"You will never be alone. I will always be in your heart.."

But Mizuki cut her off.

"But I don't want you to be in my heart, I want you right here with me"

"You'll have Yugi and his friends that are like family"

"But you're my family"

Kurami sat down beside Mizuki pulling her into a hug.

"I'm scared too"

"Then why are you doing this"

She asked pulling away.

"Because I love Atem and with that love sacrifices and changes needs to come along. For example when you get married you'll have to move in with him, change your last name, and do things that you will never do for anyone else"

"But I'll never see you again"

"But you won't forget me"

Kurami said with a sad smile.

Kurami looked to her boyfriend who was also having a private discussion with Yugi.

"In a way you will always be my hikari"

She said as Mizuki threw herself into Kurami's arms.

"My heart hurts even though you're still here"

"I know sweetie, so for our last day let's have fun with our friends"

All the friends gathered together to say what they need to say to Kurami and Atem as they smiled and listened and happily embraced the friends.

Everyone was eating, dancing, laughing to their hearts content.

Kurami let out a sigh getting Atem's attention.

"Are you alright my love?"

"I'm fine beloved, just slightly nervous"

Atem smiled as he pulled her in for a hug.

"Same here but it's time to head home"

"I know"

Mizuki and Yugi were happily dancing until Mizuki slightly nudge.

"Are you really okay with this?"

"Not really but it's what needs to be done"

"I'm scared"

She said sadly. Yugi sadly smiled at her as he embraced.

"I'm scared too, we'll be losing our best friends but if we let them stay then it will just be selfish on our part"

"I understand"

"But you'll have me, as long as you want me"

Mizuki smiled at Yugi before giving him a kiss on the lips.

"Hey, this ain't a party unless we go to Kaiba Land"

Joey said over the music getting everyone's attention as they completely agreed. Everyone was happily taking photos with fun poses and going on the rides. The fun continued as everyone completely forgot the reason why they were sad in the first place.

*Next Day*

Ishizu and Marik were called as they lead the Pharaoh and his Queen back to the gate of the afterlife. All the friends gathered around and were once again back to feeling how they were in the beginning. Mizuki felt a lump in her throat as she watched Kurami stand beside Atem in front of the gate. Silent tears fell as she looked to her sister.

"Kurami?"

Mizuki said sadly. Kurami looked back to Mizuki with a sad smile.

/With wisdom, patience, strength, and guile/

"It's okay, you're going to be okay. I'll always remember you"

She said in a whisper.

Atem took a deep breathe before speaking.

"I am the son of King Aknamkanon. My name is Atem."

He said. Kurami took a deep breathe as she took a step beside him.

She said using her real name. Just as before the Eye of Wdjat began to open.

Yugi walked up beside Mizuki and held her hand as she tighten her grip.

Together hand in hand Atem and Kurami walked closer to the gate as the light shine on them changing into their royal outfits.

Mizuki gasp at Kurami's beautiful white attire. Kurami shyly blush as she saw everyone she seen once before as they happily cheered for her and Atem's return.

Atem and Kurami walked past the gate as the door closed behind them. The cheering continued to get louder as they walked down the carpet. They soon stopped as everyone gathered around. Atem smiled as he brought Kurami's hand to his lips giving it a light kiss.

He said causing her to blush. Mana happily jumped the couple embracing them.

She yelled happily as everyone began to chant.

Behind the closed gate, Yugi and Mizuki remained standing. Ishizu made her way to the teenagers.

"The Pharaoh and the Queen are now at peace. You should be proud of how far you've come"

"How were we certain that Kurami was the long lost queen if it was never recorded or any mention about her in the past?"

Ishizu smiled.

"I didn't know either, it was all on the Pharaoh. He was the one that gave the millennium bracelet to his future queen before Darkness had struck. The past change and so can the future"

She said causing Yugi and Mizuki to look to each other in amazement.
