After spending time together and getting to know each of the friends, it was time to go home. Atem and Yugi had offered to take Kurami and Mizuki back home. Yugi and Mizuki were a couple a feet away from the Pharaoh and the Queen for to give them time to talk.

"Are you sure you want to do this? Because this is your freewill now, no more advisors or meeting from the counsel to tell you what to do. You no longer have to pursue me"

Kurami said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Shouldn't I do what is suppose to be written of my past?"

Atem asked causing Kurami to look down to the ground.

"You really want me to go back so badly right?"

She said with a scoff. Atem looked to her in thought.

"Kurami, you know as well as I do that this is not our time"

He said.

"I guess I'm just hoping things were different"

She said.

"So, what do you say we start dating and little by little work our way up"

Atem suggested. Kurami looked at him with a smile.

"On one condition"

"You name it"

"We can go on dates but I will not be going back to the afterlife"

Atem let out a slight groan.

"You're not making this easy for me"

"And you think I want this?"

She asked sarcastically.

"The Gods have spoken, I can't return with out you"

Atem said pinching the bridge of his nose.

"You're the Pharaoh, Pharaoh. Can't you pick someone else because it seems to me, this is a challenge that's way out of your league"

She said lowly seeing the Pharaoh a bit stress. Atem removed his hand away and looked to her with a smirk.

"Are you challenging me?"

"No, it's a way for you to chicken out"

She said as she walked up ahead from him. Atem quickly caught up to her as he got in front of her with a smile.

"Very well, challenge accepted"

"Good, I always wanted to be played like a pawn"

She said nonchalantly. Atem looked to Kurami in surprise.

"I didn't mean it like that"

"Well you said it!"

She said raising her voice.

"You walked me right into it!"

He said matching her tone of voice.

*Mizuki and Yugi*

"Hey look, they're actually fighting like a married couple. The Pharoah works fast"

Mizuki said impress walking beside Yugi taking their time while giving Kurami and Atem some privacy. Yugi smiled in agreement as he actually watch Atem being himself.

"So Yugi, tell me something"

Mizuki said breaking into Yugi's thoughts causing him to blush as he immediately looked down to the ground watching his steps.

"Tell you what?"

He asked. Mizuki simply smiled as she nudge Yugi's arm.

"Are you just planning to hanging out with me because of the queen?"

She asked curiously.

"That's not the only reason I need"

He said quietly. His remark sparked Mizuki's curiosity.

"Can I know?"

She asked. Yugi lift up his head as he stopped walking. Mizuki stopped as well in concern as she saw he was quiet.

"Did I say something wrong?"

She asked hoping she didn't press any buttons.

"It's better I show you"

He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him as he leaned in slowly causing Mizuki to blush more as she slowly closed her eyes just as their lips touch. Everything around them seems to fade to black.

*With Atem and Kurami*

"Wait"

Kurami said as she felt something inside her tingle. Atem froze as he felt the familiar feeling. The Pharaoh and Queen turn to look behind them and were surprise to see their vessels that they once shared a life with were kissing each other.

"I didn't expect this from Yugi"

Atem said in surprise.

"Ditto, but weren't we the ones that needed to be hook up?"

Kurami said tilting her head. Atem soon chuckled causing Kurami to look to him in surprise.

"What?"

She asked.

"This just proves it"

He said as he linked his hand with hers.

"Proves what?"

"We are meant to be"

"Come again?"

"Think about it, our vessels brought us together and yet they were the ones who got together"

Kurami couldn't help but smile.

"That actually makes sense"

She said as she watch Mizuki continuing to kiss Yugi. The two teenagers pulled away blushing and panting as they remained close staring into each other's eyes.

"You know, I gotta be honest. I don't know how to kiss"

Kurami said with a blush. Atem looked to her with a slight smile.

"That makes two of us"

He said in understanding. Yugi and Mizuki finally pulled away but remained holding hands and gasp in surprise to see Kurami and Atem watching them with amusement.

"H-how long you both been staring?"

Yugi asked blushing bright red. Atem smirk as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Long enough to know you both work faster than us"

"Uh actually it was unexpected"

Mizuki said with a blush.

"Don't be too modest Mizuki, you were telling me how he looks good, and if he's single"

Kurami said making her little sister blush more in embarrassment. Yugi wasn't any better as he was blushing as he looked to Mizuki.

"Is that true?"

He asked. Mizuki put her head down.

"I wouldn't have kiss you if it wasn't true"

She said lightly kicking her leg.

"What are the chances? The same thing happen to Yugi"

Atem said in amusement.

"Atem!"

Yugi shouted in embarrassment.

"Hey now where did that confidence go when you kissed her?"

Atem said with a grin.

"What did he say?"

Mizuki asked curiously.

"Well, after we left he was saying how adorable you are and that you were out of his league"

Atem said as Yugi glared at him with a blush plastered on his face.

"Thanks Atem"

Yugi said sternly.

"Anytime Yugi"

Atem said with a smirk.

"So you like me?"

Mizuki asked causing Yugi to look at her shyly.

"I have a better question. Would you like to go out with me tomorrow at noon?"

He said. Mizuki smiled at him.

"Yes"

She said breathlessly as she gave Yugi a kiss on the cheek. Kurami gently nudge Atem who look to her curiously.

"Maybe there are somethings we still need to learn from these two"

She said causing Atem to smile.

"I couldn't agree more"
