"What?"

Mizuki said in surprise looking towards her boyfriend.

"I'm breaking up with you"

He said calmly. The couple were sitting on a bench at a park.

"Why?"

She asked sadly.

"You know this was eventually going to end from the getgo"

He said with a sad smile as Mizuki sadly looked down to the ground.

"I just thought we could have stay together for a while longer"

She said quietly. Conner gently placed his hand over hers.

"I know you do and I did too but its best maybe it's not with me"

"Who was it?"

She immediately looking towards him with a glare. Conner raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Who?"

"Who as in who put you up to this? Was it Tea? It has to be her, did she tell you to break up with me?"

She asked angrily. Conner broke into a small chuckle before smiling.

"No. It's Yugi"

"What?"

She asked in shock.

"Well he didn't exactly told me anything but I notice the way he looks at you, the way he gets happy when he hears your voice. I knew their was something going on between you too but the eye contact was a dead give away. He likes you. Maybe you should give him a chance before we even continue on with this relationship"

He explained causing Mizuki to look to him with confusion.

"Are you seriously giving me to him?"

She asked. Conner laughs as he shook his head as he tighten his grip before letting go.

"No, it because he's your friend. I just met the hero in person a few weeks ago, so I know for a fact that you knew him longer than me."

"I don't know what to say"

She said in amazement at Conner's reaction at this whole ordeal.

"I honest don't know what you feel for him but if I'm wrong about this then my arms will be open for you and if he does accept you then I would be happy to know that at least I had you for a while. Give a friend a chance"

He said with a smile before standing up to look to Mizuki pulling her up.

"No matter what, we will still be friends. Call or text me whenever you feel like it and then we can hangout whenever we get the chance"

Mizuki couldn't help but to smile at her now ex-boyfriend.

"You're really something you know that. I know for a fact you will make any girl happy"

"Thanks. Now good luck with yours"

He said leaving Mizuki to her own thoughts.

*Motou's Home*

Mizuki rang the doorbell waiting for an answer. The door soon open to reveal Grandpa.

"Why hello there?"

"Hi Mr. Motou is Yugi home?"

She asked kindly. Grandpa smiled at her.

"Please my dear, call me Grandpa"

"I'll try to remember that"

She said with a smile.

"Come in and have a seat while I get Yugi"

He said as Mizuki followed him to the livingroom and waited on the couch. A few minutes later, the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs caught Mizuki's attention as she turn around to see Yugi at the bottom of the steps looking at her in surprise.

"Mizuki, what are you doing here? Kurami and Yami had went out a few hours ago"

"I didn't come here for Kurami, I came here for you"

She said standing up from the couch making her way to him.

"For me?"

He asked in surprise as Mizuki sheepishly smiled. Yugi soon frown as he looked to see if Conner was there as well.

"And Conner?"

He asked.

"He's living his life his own way"

She said with a smile. Yugi cleared up his throat.

"What is it that you need?"

"Just to talk, do you have a moment"

She asked as Yugi nodded as he led her to his room and closed the door for privacy.

"What is it that you wanted to talk about?"

He asked.

"To put it plain and simple, Conner and I broke up, well you could say it was mutual"

She said. Yugi was surprised and sadly put his head down.

"I'm sorry that happen, I could see why you came here for a friend's support. What's the reason behind the break up?"

He said making his way to sit on the bed. Mizuki went to sit beside him as she looked to him.

"You"

She said simply causing Yugi to blush in embarrassment.

"Me?"

"Yup"

"But I never told him anything"

He said in defense thinking Mizuki was mad at him if he said anything to Conner.

"I know but Conner notice it. He knew there was something there but the gestures were a give away"

"Gesture?"

"The longing eye contact stare"

She said with a blush causing Yugi to blush as well.

"Is it that obvious?"

"To others yes. So the reason with me being here is because....forget it. Yugi my feelings for you are still here"

She placing her hand over her heart.

"I can't let it go and I can't just be friends with you. I want more"

She said sincerely. Yugi smiled but frown slightly.

"What happen to just being friends?"

"I said it because I thought I could believe that we could just be friends but I was wrong"

"And here I was thinking of a way on how to win your heart because I didn't have a clue"

He said with a blush as Mizuki looked to him with a kind smile.

"But Tea would always be an issue for me"

She said sadly causing Yugi to laugh confusing Mizuki.

"What?"

"In case you haven't notice but Tea has mostly been a problem for Atem"

"What do you mean?"

"Tea keeps tagging along with Atem and Kurami's dates and then make a fuss the whole time. So I think you're safe"

"Is Kurami safe?"

She asked in concern for her sister.

"She's in good hands with Atem, he wouldn't let Tea lay a finger on her or be talk down too"

He said with a smile.

"So what about us?"

She asked. Yugi smiled at her as he grabbed her hand in his.

"Let's say it together"

He said causing Mizuki to grin with a blush.

"One"

"Two"

"Three"

"Continue where we left off!!"

They shouted together in joy as they happily hugged each other. The willingness to continue where they left off was a huge relief on both hearts.
