Unknown P.o.V

"Fenris, what troubles you?" I asked blandly as I looked up to see the demon pacing the room, his arms crossed, his usually slicked back hair disheveled.

He didn't seem to hear me he kept muttering things under his breath like "I can't lose her again" or "I'll murder them all, then no one can have her". He did a crazed laugh that rumbled low in his throat, which resembled thunder.

"Fenris!" I yelled slamming my open palm on the desk. He jerked his head upwards and looked in my direction with a raised eyebrow.

"You rang." He stepped forward with an irritated look on his face. His arms were still crossed and his fiery orange eyes glowed brighter than usual.

"Five minutes ago, actually," I rolled my eyes," what has you so distracted. Your hair is a mess."

He made frantic motions to smooth back his hair and he straightened his shirt with a jerk at the hem and returned to his former position. "Nothing has me distracted." He huffed. I just stared at him and he could see the skepticism in my gaze. "Really, I'm fine." His signature smirk appeared.

I still have my doubts about this one. Still regretting my life's decisions. I gave him another look of skepticism and decided not to push the issue. "How has your mission with the girl been going? Anything new?" I raised an eyebrow.

His whole demeanor changed. "Nope. Nothing new." He said calmly, but his face and eyes said otherwise.

"It's been a whole school week there has to be something new." I looked at him intensely.

"Nothing. New. At. All." He said through gritted teeth his face white with rage -how that's possible I know not- his fangs were elongated. I shook my head.

"There is definitely something new and you are going to tell me this instant." I said firmly.

He cast his fiery gaze upon me and smiled pleasantly but his voice sounded enraged. "He took her, my Sotiria."

I sat back in my seat and folded my hands infront of my mouth. Great I revived the emotionally unstable demon.

"That's ridiculous! Booooo!" I heard Aali's angry shout.

"You deserve better! Find someone else!" Alana chimed in.

I peeped in the crack of the door to find the both of them on Aaliyah's bed watching a movie and Alana threw some popcorn at the screen. Aali was sitting at the edge of the bed and Lana was laying comfortably on her stomach, propping herself up on her elbows to eat her popcorn.

I eased myself in and quietly walked my way towards them. I lowered myself ontop of Alana and snaked one arm around her waist and used my other to prop myself up and I kissed her cheek.

"Whyyyy! I'm watching the telly! And why are you so quiet? I should start calling you Padfoot." She adjusted slightly so she could look at me.

"Isn't that one of the marauder's nickname?" I raised a questioning eyebrow at her.

"Yes, but it suits you. You walk like you have padded feet. It's bloody bonkers if I do say so myself." She said pointedly then returned her gaze back to the television.

On the screen was a brunette, crying one of those Hollywood hysterical cries. She was sobbing uncontrollably, mascara running down her face, nose a runny mess. I rolled my eyes and looked at both of the girls. They shook their head in disapproval at the girl on the screen.

"Let me guess she found her boyfriend cheating or whatever." I asked in a flat tone.

"Actually no. It's the other way around. He caught her being a bloody slag and he just shamed her. Hints why she's crying." Alana smiled, basking in the girl's pain.

"She deserved it." Aaliyah said bluntly.

Alana nodded in agreement and ate some more popcorn. "She really did." She muttered angrily.

I sighed and shook my head and adjusted my position to where I was laying next to her. I still had one arm around her.

"Wɛ ռɛɛɖ tօ taʟҡ."

I looked at Alana to see her looking at me with the same bewildered look.

"Did you hear her too?" I asked.

"Yes, I heard her." She looked back at the movie.

"Aaliyah. We'll be back. We have to go handle something important." Alana got up.

Aali narrowed her eyes at us and smiled broadly. "Take your time." She sneered.

I picked up a pillow and hit her on the head with it. "It's nothing like that you filthy minded beast." I laughed and walked out after Lana.

We found the Goddess in Lana's room standing near the bed. She looked worried about something.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"I'ʍ ɦɛʀɛ tօ աaʀռ ʏօʊ... Fɛռʀɨs... Hɛ's ɢʀօաɨռɢ stʀօռɢɛʀ."

"Well that's to be expected. He has been dormant, dead or whatever for all these years." Alana said bluntly.

"Nօ. Tɦɨs tɨʍɛ ɨt ɨs ɖɨʄʄɛʀɛռt. Hɛ ɨsռ't ʄʊɛʟɛɖ ɮʏ ɦɨs ʟօʋɛ tօ tɛʀʀօʀɨʐɛ ɦʊʍaռs aռɖ ʟʏċaռs aʟɨҡɛ. Hɛ's ʄʊɛʟɛɖ ɮʏ sօʍɛtɦɨռɢ ɛʟsɛ."

I blinked rapidly, unable to put my feelings into words. "How d-different?" I managed to ask once I got my voice back.

"Hɛ's ɛռʀaɢɛɖ... aռɖ aռ ɛʍօtɨօռ ɦas ɮɛɛռ aաօҡɛռ ɨռ ɦɨʍ ɦas ɮɛɛռ ċaʊsɛɖ ɮʏ ʏօʊʀ քʀɛsɛռċɛ, Aʟaռa. Yօʊ ɦaʋɛ aաօҡɛռ ʝɛaʟօʊsʏ."

"Jealousy? What did I do? Me?" Alana pointed to herself.

"Her? What does she have to do with him?" I looked at the Goddess.

"Haʋɛ ʏօʊ ɢʊʏs ɛʋɛʀ ɦɛaʀɖ օʄ tɦɛ stօʀʏ ɦօա Fɛռʀɨs ɮɛċaʍɛ tɦɛ աaʏ ɦɛ ɨs?"

Alana and I both shook our heads no in response.

"Eօռs aɢօ, Fɛռʀɨs աasռ't Fɛռʀɨs քɛʀ sɛ. Hɛ աasռ't the ʍʊʀɖɛʀօʊs ɖɛʍօռ tɦat աɛ aʟʟ ҡռօա aռɖ ʟօʋɛ (saʀċasʍ). Hɛ աas a ċaʀɛʄʀɛɛ sɦɨʄtɛʀ աɨtɦ a ʟօʋɨռɢ ʍatɛ at ɦɨs sɨɖɛ աɨtɦ a քʊք օռ tɦɛ աaʏ. Bʊt aʟʟ օʄ tɦat ċɦaռɢɛɖ."

"What happened?" Allie and I both asked suddenly immersed in the story, just realizing that we both were sitting on the bed.

"A ɮaռɖ օʄ ɦʊռtɛʀs attaċҡɛɖ ɦɨs ɦօʍɛ աɦɨʟɛ ɦɛ աas օռ քatʀօʟ. Hɛ ċaʍɛ ɦօʍɛ tօ ʄɨռɖ ɦɨs ʍatɛ, sօtɨʀɨa, ɖɛaɖ ɨռ a քօօʟ օʄ ɦɛʀ օառ ɮʟօօɖ."

"That's terrible." Alana said quietly.
"Shhhh.... Don't interrupt." I nudged her.

"Stʀɨċҡɛռ աɨtɦ ɢʀɨɛʄ, ɦɛ ċօռsʊʟtɛɖ աɨtɦ a ɖaʀҡ աɨtċɦ aռɖ sօʟɖ ɦɨs sօʊʟ ʄօʀ ɨʍʍօʀtaʟɨtʏ aռɖ քօաɛʀ աɦɨċɦ ɦɛ ʊsɛɖtaҡɛ ʀɛʋɛռɢɛ օռ ɦʊʍaռs ʄօʀ ҡɨʟʟɨռɢ ɦɛʀ aռɖ ʟʏċaռs ʄօʀ aʟʟօաɨռɢ ɨt to ɦaքքɛռ. I ɦaɖ to ɨռtɛʀʋɛռɛ aռɖ stօք ɦɨʍ ʍʏsɛʟʄ. ɦas ҡɨʟʟɛɖ tօօ ʍaռʏ քɛօքʟɛ."

I my mouth was slightly open and Allie shifted uncomfortably. "But....why does it involve me?" Lana asked.

"Bɛċaʊsɛ. Yօʊ ʟօօҡ ʟɨҡɛ ɦɨs ɮɛʟօʋɛɖ Sօtɨʀɨa. Hɛ tɦɨռҡs tɦat ʏօʊ aʀɛ ɦɛʀ aռɖ աɨʟʟ ҡɨʟʟ aռʏօռɛ աɦօ's staռɖɨռɢ ɨռ ɦɨs աaʏ օʄ ɢɛttɨռɢ ʏօʊ ɮaċҡ aռɖ tɦɛ ʄaċt tɦat ʏօʊ'ʀɛ ʍatɛɖ ʍaҡɛs tɦɛ sɨtʊatɨօռ աօʀsɛ. Tɦɛ օռʟʏ tɦɨռɢ tɦat's ɦօʟɖɨռɢ ɦɨʍ ɮaċҡ ʀɨɢɦt ռօա ɨs tɦɛ ɖɛaʟ ɦɛ ʍaɖɛ աɨtɦ ɦɨs ʀɛʋɨʋɛʀ."

"Oooh..... so that's why he had a bloody meltdown when he saw my mark." Alana said in a high pitched voice when she came to this new revelation.

"So.... basically what you're saying is that he's stuck on Lana and until we kill him, he's just going to get stronger and kill everyone in his path?" I asked.

The Goddess nodded her head and I laid backwards on the bed and stared at the roof in disbelief.

"Well this is...wow.... I don't even know what to call this..." Ryker paced back and forth, his head bowed.

"I աaռt ʏօʊ tաօ to ɮɛ ċaʀɛʄʊʟ. Yօʊ ռɛɛɖ ɛaċɦ օtɦɛʀ ռօա ʍօʀɛ tɦaռ ɛʋɛʀ." She smiled warmly at the both of us.

"Thank you... I'll take good care of this one." I pulled Lana down next to me which caused her to yelp in surprise.

"And I'll watch over this little bugger with my life." She smiled at me.

The Moon Goddess let out an amused giggle and disappeared. Lana looked at the spot where she once was and we looked at each other and sighed.

I pulled Lana close to me. We were facing each other, our legs were intertwined. We both used one elbow to support us up. I used my free hand to place on the small of her back and she used her fingers to walk them across my chest.

"I won't let him take you, you know that right." I looked at her intensely.

She met my gaze and smiled. "I know. And I won't let him kill you or anyone else for that matter." She played with my curls now.

I smiled and kissed her. I rolled over ontop of her and trailed my hand down the length of her body, loving the way she shudders under my touch. I pulled back and kissed the spot on her neck where her mark was and she gasped a little. Her hands roved everywhere she could put them igniting a burning passion in me. Ryker was clawing to get free.

"And you said it was nothing like that." Aaliyah smiled slyly from the door.

Alana sighed and shook her head and I just glared at Aaliyah. Ryker felt deeply disappointed and so did I. Why did I have to have such annoying siblings? Why me?
