Jacob
"Hello! Alana! What are you doing?" I walked alongside her waving my hand in front of her face. She was walking and talking to some unknown character in some sort of daze.
"Wait! Where are you going!" She ran after the person then stopped in front of a tree and just stared at the tree and tilted her head.
"Alana? What are you doing? And who are you talking to?" I asked her. She jumped in shock and turned around in wide eyes, Apparently confused.
"What? Where am I? How did I get here?" She looked around with wild eyes.
"You.... You don't know where you are?" I raised an eyebrow.
She just had the tip of her finger in her mouth looking around her, genuinely confused and shook her head no. I looked at her attire. She had on pajama shorts that were purple and white stripped with her name sewn onto it in pink letters, and a loose fitted plain black crop top and black vans on.
"I think she is genuinely confused, Jacob." Cameron said, stating the obvious.
I can tell... thanks for pointing that out.
"Alana... where were you before here?"I asked, crossing my arms.
"Um... in my backyard? Yea... I was definitely in my backyard." She nodded vigorously.
"And you somehow ended up here."
"As crazy as it sounds, yes," She crossed her arms and looked around still looking confused,"where am I exactly?"
"You are at the south side of town." I said.
Her eyes widened in shock. "I'm here? Why would she bring me here?! What am doing so far from home?!"She waved her arms frantically and paced back and forth.
I looked at her with unease.... this girl.... is she crazy? "Why did who bring you here?" I raised a curious eyebrow at her.
"The Goddess."She said with a huff with her arms crossed, obviously upset.
"Th-the Goddess? She brought you here? You talked to her?" I asked in shock.
"Yes. Why do you look so surprised? Doesn't she talk to everyone?" She asked very irritably.
"Actually, no. No, she doesn't. She doesn't just talk to anyone. What's so special about you?" I stepped closer to her.
"That's the same question I'm asking myself, and back up. You're in my space." She pushed me back slightly with her hand.
"Did you just push me?" I looked down at her.
"Did you just ask a dumb arse question?" She asked sassily then turned her back on me.
I growled and bawled my fists. I swear I want to hit her.. She's lucky she's a girl.
"What is that?" She pointed to a tree with a carving in it and stepped towards it inspecting it.
I walked to where she was, looking at the tree myself. "Oh! That's from an old pack that used to live here. They used to carve it in the trees." I looked at her.
She ran her finger lightly along the grooves methodically, looking somewhat entranced. "What was the name of their pack?" She said still running her finger along the grooves.
"Perigee Syzygy." I said.
She raised an eyebrow and gave a small smile. "The Super moon pack,"She chuckled a little,"I like that name. What happened to them?"
I suddenly felt uncomfortable, I don't know why. But it seems like telling her would be wrong, but she needs to know... I guess...
"My father and the Alpha of their pack went to war and they lost, so we own their land now." I said.
She looked at me with a look that I couldn't describe. i can't tell if it's hurt, surprise... hell... I don't know.
"Where there any survivors?" She asked quietly looking me in the eyes. He bluish-brown eyes piercing into my soul.
I looked away feeling....weird... "Only one, the alpha and luna if that pack had a pup, but she managed to escape. We don't know what happened to her after that." I said quietly.
I felt her gaze leave me and she went back to looking at the tree, studying the carving"That's fortunate on the pup's part." She chuckled quietly, then she stepped away from the tree. "Well, I have to go home.... wherever that is." She mumbled quietly.
"I can escort you back home." I said.
"No thanks. I don't need you to know where I live." She said quickly.
"Are you sure about that? Because... we have some hunters hunting rogues, and rogues looking for fine young females." I smiled slyly.
She crossed her arms and looked away from me and gave me a look of resentment and rocked on her heels then stomped her feet a little bit. "Fine. You can escort me home. No funny business, okay, mate?" She pointed a finger at me.
I raised my hands in submission. "You have my word." I smiled charmingly.
She rolled her eyes and shifted. Whoa.... Her fur was mostly platinum like her hair with brown streaks in them. The moon shone on her fur making look like she's glowing and her eyes.... the light caught the blue side.
"What are you staring at? Let's go." she said sharply, rolling her eyes.
"My bad, geez." I muttered shifting myself.
We trotted along the woods in silence for most of the trip to her house.
"So... Alana... do you know what pack you were apart of?"
"It's Eris, and no. I do not know. Or remember at least."
"Nothing? Nothing at all? You don't even remember your parents?"
" NO! I. KNOW. NOTHING! So leave me alone about it... please." She said quietly and her ears lowered and she continued to walk slowly.
"Well... if it makes you feel better, I never officially met my mom. She passed away when I was born. And my father died of grief afterwards."
"So who's alpha now?"
"My uncle."
" Oi, and I thought I had it bad....So we're both orphans...."
"That makes us orphan buddies then." I wagged my tail and nudged her with my head.
She rolled her eyes and her ears perked up and she showed me what I think was a smirk and kept walking.
Meh*shrugs* Probably not the best ending, but it ended. I'm like extremely happy about the amount of views I have now, it's like slowly moving up there....slowly... I said slowly... Anyways bye!
