(Hey guys sorry for the long wait I was really busy with school and my roleplays that I did have time to update this story but I'm gong to try to update this as much as I can. Now onto the story!)

Elise heard a loud explosion outside her window and sat up, her face was stained with tears as she held her pillow close. She looked at her window with a slightly confused expression and heard yet another explosion. Worried the castle was under attack she quickly jumped off her bed and ran to the window hoping to see the attackers. There was smoke covering the ground floor so it was difficult for her to spot who they were but then the two ponies flew up from the smoke and into the air at insane speeds. Elise knew there was only two ponies who could fly at such alarming speeds...Luna and Celestia. At that moment Elise knew there was something wrong. She ran out of her room with such speed it was almost as if she would break the sound barrier. Once she reached the courtyard she looked up trying to spot her sisters through the dark clouds.

Up beyond the clouds Nightmare Moon and Celestia were engaged in a heated battle. Celestia flew at Nightmare and charged her beam of light, firing at her. Nightmare did a barrel roll to the side dodging it and shot her own beam of dark energy at Celestia. Celestia just barely dodged it and a light aura surrounded her as she tackled Nightmare hard in the side sending her back a bit. Nightmare growled and surrounded herself in a dark aura and flew at Celestia trying to do the same but they bounced off each other. Elise could only watch as her sisters fought each other. She wanted to fly up there and separate them but she still couldn't fly even with her large wings. Elise spread out her wings and started running towards them hoping to gain some air to reach them. She jumped off the ground and flapped her wings quickly. She managed to glide for a moment before falling back down. "No no come on!" She said and continued to try and fly, panicking. "Luna! Celestia! Stop!!!" She yelled hoping they would hear her but they were too high up.

Nightmare managed to fly behind Celestia and kicked her downwards with her hind legs sending her flying to the ground. Celestia caught her bearings and landed on her feet, just a few yards away from Elise. Elise saw this as an opportunity and ran towards her sister. "Celestia you need to stop! Your going to hurt each oth-" "Don't interfere!" Celestia growled at her making Elise stop in her tracks. Celestia looked at her with narrowed eyes, her mouth in a snarl. Elise has never seen her sister so angry. "B-but...Celestia.." She tried to speak but she cut her off again. "Your just going to get hurt. Now look out!" Celestia yelled as she looked up, seeing Nightmare Moon launch another beam of dark energy at the two. Elise looked up and froze in place, Celestia growled again and spread her wings flying at Elise and knocking her out of the way before flying off again, the beam following her. This caused Elise to go flying and tumble into the dirt giving her a few scratches and bruises. Elise groaned as she slowly stood back up, she landed on her right leg damaging it. "But...why are they fighting..? And why does Luna look like that...?" She mumbled confused and hurt as she looked up at her two sisters fighting with tears in her eyes. "It's my birthday...."

Celestia flew above Nightmare and shot a beam at her it managed it hit and sent Nightmare back causing a small explosion. The smoke cleared at the two sisters shot at each other with their own beams. The beams hit each other forming a large sphere of energy in the center, right in front of Elise's Lunar Eclipse. Just then Elise managed to see her sisters expressions. Celestia looked weak and was frowning, her eyes were saddened but Luna's was the opposite. Hers were filled with anger and hatred. Nightmare Moon yelled and her beam over powered Celestia's, it directly hit her and sent her flying into one of the castle's towers. Nightmare Moon flew after her and Elise tried to run towards them but her leg was still injured, even so she limped as fast as she could to her sisters.

Celestia crashed through the window and slammed into the pillar holding the Elements of Harmony. One element knocked over and landed beside her. Celestia laid there panting, she was hurt and weak. She had used up all her energy and couldn't fight any longer. 'I let...everypony down...' She thought sadly. 'I let Luna down...I let Elise down...and I let my kingdom down...' She thought and looked to the side. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw the Element of Harmony magic and she got an idea. 'I have no choice... I'm sorry dearest sister but you left me no choice..' she thought. Elise made it to the tower and pushed open the door. She saw Celestia laying against the pillar when all of a sudden Nightmare Moon flew through the hole in the window towards Celestia at insane speeds. "Now die!!" She yelled but Celestia quickly used her magic to pick up the Element and held it in front of her, her eyes closed tightly as she prayed it would work. The element shone brightly and send out a rainbow wave of energy turning Celestia's hair rainbow and hitting Nightmare Moon and sent her back. To Elise everything went in slow motion as she watched in horror as her sister, no, her best and only friend Luna faded into nothingness. The clock struck midnight and the eclipse ended. The moon glowed and a outline of Luna appeared on its surface. The room went silent...

Celestia was the first to move, she slowly sat up and looked at the moon with widened eyes. She heard a sniffle and turned to Elise. Elise sat there refusing to look at Celestia. She stared at the moon as tears streamed down her face. Celestia started to sob, her own tears rushing down now. "LLUUUNNNAAAAA!!!!" Elise yelled at the top of her lungs as she cried.
