Hanna's POV

Me and Emma were almost to Fire Light, the kingdom that ash told us about. I had sleeping Kyra in my arms, Emma had her sword out and was ready to protect us. Please tell me ash saved the boys! She said she would, I thought.

A guard in a blue and red suit of armor stopped us outside of the main gate to the kingdom. Emma had put her sword away.

"Who goes there!" Yelled the guard.

"I am Hanna, I'm a friend of Princess Ash from Fire Light. She promised us and my child safety here." Hanna said.

"The Princess has been missing for 15 years, how can I trust you?" He said with a harsh tone.

"She has a locket with a picture of your passed king and queen. I promise you, she is our friend." Emma said.

The guard let us pass and the village was enormous, shops everywhere. A huge castle with no lights loomed over everyone and everything. I saw a banner that showed a picture of a crown surrounded by red fire.

Blake's POV

"Landon, no. Ash is a princess of the kingdom that Hanna and Emma are at with kyra. I know they are in good hands, my father has to wait for his death." I said to Landon as I held onto ash's limp body. She was healing quite fast, i was happy to see that she was ok.

"Blake, you don't understand. Ash was trying to kill us and who knows if she's telling the truth about being a princess!" Landon yelled. He was full of anger and I could tell he was growing impatient.

I set ash done on a soft patch of moss and grabbed the front of Landon's shirt, lifting him up. My eyes bored into his and he had his dagger ready to kill me. This boy has major trust issues, literally.

"Landon, you hurt the one girl I'm meant to protect and you think killing my father is more important than your own family. I can't believe you! Kyra has magic and ash has magic, no one else does." I said in his face.

I dropped him when I heard ash groan in pain from her wounds that Landon caused. She was still just a girl who I had to protect, Landon wasn't going to kill my father because ash was going to. She has skills and power and determination that can kill him, the man who destroyed her family and everyone else's. Ash was the girl that everyone needs as a queen but she wasn't going to be my queen.

I picked her up and started walking north east, the direction the girls went. Landon followed me and he wasn't happy about, if doesn't let ash kill my father, he would have to pay big time.

We made it to Fire Light, ash's kingdom. A guard was in our way. He had a blue and red set or armor on, a sword was in its sheath. On his chestplate, a crown surrounded by red fire was painted. Landon was ready to unsheath his swords when the guard didn't let in.

"Who are you and who's the girl?" Asked the guard.

"I'm Blake and this is Landon. The girl is Ash, she's the princess of Fire Light." I said to the guard.

He let us in without any questions or problems. We saw Hanna and Emma looking at all the shops and restaurants. Little kyra was asleep in Hanna's arms and Ash was unconscious in mine.

Landon ran over to his wife and child, Emma came over to me and ash. She was furious and wouldn't stop questions. This girl can talk fast! Ash woke up and looked around, then she stood up and sat next to me.
