*Percy's pov*

When the group of lyprads disappeared from our view, we stopped roaring suddenly feeling drained. We both turned around and kneeled down in front of Sophie.

"Sophie, are you-oomph" I didn't finish because Sophie tackled us into a hug.

"Thank you, thank you"

"You're welcome!!. But, could you please loosen your grip. I think I'm choking" I gasped out.

"Oops, sorry" she replied sheepishly, releasing us from her hug.

"It's okay", I replied.

Anoushka came up to my face, and started licking me.

"Anoushkaa", I whined wiping my face.

I turned back to Sophie, to see her sitting on the ground holding her knee with both hands wincing.

"Sophie, are you okay?", Annabeth asked noticing the position Sophie was in.

"No, I hurt myself when I tripped running from those bad men" she answered.

"Here, let me see" I asked. Sophie slowly pulled her hands away to show a scraped knee.

"Aww. It's not that bad" I said sighing in relief.

Annabeth ripped the sleeve of her shirt off and passed it to me. I gratefully took it and gently wrapped it around Sophie's bruised knee.

She winced slightly as I wrapped it around her knee, Anoushka whined and licked her face.

She giggled seeming to forget the pain. I smiled slightly at the scene and turned towards Annabeth. She was smiling too. I cleared my throat and looked back to Sophie.

"Done", I said as I finished the last knot.

"Sophie, do you want me to carry you or......", I didn't bother  finishing because Sophie had already jumped into my arms.

"I'll take that as a yes".

I stood up with Sophie securely in my arms and turned towards Annabeth, who was standing up with her hands folded, laughing.

I laughed back sarcastically and I very maturely stuck my tongue out at her.

"Come on lets go" she said rolling her eyes at my antics.

I looked down at Anoushka who had magically turned back to her normal size.

"Are you gonna walk or do you wanna be carried too" I asked

As if to answer that, she jumped into Annabeth's folded arms and made herself comfortable.

"I figured you would", Annabeth said, smiling. She slowly brushed Anoushka's fur with her free hand while humming and rocking the pup back and forth until she released a cute little yawn and fell asleep.

I gapped at her actions, then after a few minutes said,

"I never thought I would see the day you acted girly"

"Shut up!!, seaweed brain" she replied sticking her tongue out at me. I heard a soft, light, snoring noise and looked down to see Sophie, like Anoushka, had fallen asleep during our mini argument.

"Wow", I said looking up.

"Are we really that boring?", Annabeth responded to that by smacking me outside the side of my head.

"Ooww!!", I complained, rubbing my head.

"Come on we have to get going", she said walking away.

"Hey, wait for me!!", I whined, catching up to her.
