*Percy pov*

Today started like any other day. I woke up to my alarm clock sounding off, so I quickly shuffled around trying to shut it off. When I finally did, I groaned  and sat up then stretched out while yawning. I went to the bathroom, took a shower, brushed my teeth  and threw on a plain white t-shirt and some jeans.

I slowly walked out of my cabin to the dining pavilion. I went and got a plate of blue pancakes drowned in maple syrup, with bacon and some orange juice. I sacrificed some of my bacon to my dad (because I'm not ready to sacrifice my pancakes ) and walked to the Posiedon table where Annabeth, my girlfriend was already waiting for me with the others.

When I reached her, I ducked my head to kiss her on the cheek. "Hey wise girl!," she turned around.  "Hey seaweed brain!," and sat down and greeted the others .

When we were almost done with our food, Chiron stomped his hooves on the table and said over the chatter of the other campers,

"Everyone we have an announcement!!".

When he said that everyone turned their heads towards him because whenever he used that tone we know it was important.

Then he said the 4 words that I had been dreading to hear;

"There is another war"

And with that the dinning pavilion burst into chaos.
