Meeting

Alright, on with the story
Far from Earthrealm, in a larger realm called Outworld, stood a large palace adorned with stone columns and bronze statues of Outworld's emperor, Kotal Kahn.
Within this palace's meeting room, around a triangular table sat six varying characters with varying emotions.
One of these characters had a distinct feeling of apprehension upon hearing that there would be a meeting held soon. He was frowning under his brown bandana and was covering his dark eyes with a cowboy hat. This man was a gunslinger named Erron Black. Formerly from Earthrealm, this man looked like a wild western cowboy in every sense of the word, and he served the Outworld emperor primarily for one reason; money.
"I ain't gettin' paid enough to sit through five godforsaken hours of boring meetings," Black mumbled an ode to his priorities under his brown bandana, "I need a raise."
Seated next to Erron Black, and nearly as apprehensive, was Reptile. In Earthrealm, Reptile would most likely be called a monster or a wretch. This is most likely on account of his green, scaly skin, wide mouth full of sharp teeth and an unnaturally long tongue, his nose or lack thereof, his snake-like eyes, and his clawed hands. In this meeting room, however, he was more honorably known as Reptile, the last of the Zaterrans, the once great race of reptilian warriors. He, being the emperor's personal friend and loyal general and warrior, had no choice but to attend the meeting. This, by no means, meant that he enjoyed them, however. "Let's just hope it's not as long as the last meeting, Erron," Reptile replied to the gunslinger. These meetings were often long and continuous, and there were many things he would rather be doing; such as training or hunting for rats. The day was still young.
On another side of the triangular table, sat another character that would frighten-- or at least creep out--most Earthrealmers. She was a Kytinn named D'Vorah. She was unique in the sense that she had yellow skin and black eyes similar to an Earthrealm fly's. She also bore a black, crescent-shaped tattoo on her hairless head. Being a Kytinn, a race of humanoid hives, she possessed the ability to conjure bugs and larvae from her body and control them at will (she was currently holding and stroking one of her favorite children; a green, slimy larva she named Qint'l). Unusual for a Kytinn, she was surprisingly intelligent, which gained her the position of the emperor's second in command. Contrary to the others in the meeting room, she anticipated this meeting and was looking forward to it. "This one wishes for you both to cease your childish complaints," D'Vorah said with a clicking voice, "Such meetings must be endured for progress to be made."
Reptile growled at her while Erron gave her the finger and said, "Easy for you to say, beehive. You enjoy these meetings."
D'Vorah, unable to deny this claim, simply scowled at Black and resumed petting Qint'l.
Sitting next to D'Vorah was Ermac. Ermac looked like what an Earthrealmer would call a mummy, for he had black, leather straps wrapped around his entire body. Most of these, however, were covered by his black and red cloak. What skin could be seen was gray and ancient, due to him being centuries old. He was a soul keeper--a single body inhabited by many souls with telepathic powers. He was currently engaged in an internal argument with one of his louder souls.
The last two characters at the table were Ferra and Torr. Ferra was a little girl who looked about eight or nine. She was currently adorned with a feathered headress and armed with bladed gauntlets. Her and Torr had just finished training when the meeting was announced. Torr was immensely muscular and stood about six feet tall hunched over. He was almost always wearing a burlap mask with a single eyehole upon his head; as he was now. He was undoubtedly what would be called a brute. Due to the two's symbiotic relationship, Ferra/Torr form a deadly combination and have earned themselves places as Kotal Kahn's personal bodyguards.
Ferra was laying on top of Torr's back, waiting for the meeting to commence. The little kutter did not mind long meetings because she always slept through them; hiding behind Torr's masked head. All of the generals knew she did this, but none woke her, for she would just complain throughout the whole meeting if they did.
At long last, the emperor of Outworld, Kotal Kahn, walked into the meeting room followed by two Osh-Tekk soldiers carrying a cushioned seat. They placed it at one of the tips of the triangular table and Kahn sat it in it. A third soldier walked in carrying a pack full of various parchments. Kotal Kahn took it from him and dismissed him to his post, leaving him alone with his loyal generals and trusted companions.
"Good evening my friends," the Kahn said in his deep voice. This greeting was met with a chorus of good evenings, a "Hi" from Erron Black, and a low grunt from Torr.
Kotal Kahn was most likely the most outstanding of the Outworlders in the meeting room; and with a reptilian, a centuries old mummy, and rugged symbiotes, that is no small feat. For one thing, he was once an Aztec god of war, blood sacrifice, and the Sun. His skin was entirely painted blue, save for lines that go down his arms, legs, and torso that glow different colors at will depending on which powers he wished to conjure. He was currently dressed in a red loincloth decorated with a skull and jawbones of creatures he has hunted. Upon his head, he wore a large, eagle headress adorned with feathers. He gazed at the generals with his glowing, blue eyes and gave a small smile.
"Let's get this started, shall we?"
He pretended not to hear a groan, a growl, and a high-pitched yawn.
