The air crackled with electricity around us as our kiss became deeper as our swirling tongues raced against each other for dominancy. I could feel her tugging at my hair as I ran my hands down her back while I continued to carry her towards my bed. As I trailed my fingers down her back sparks and tingles erupted causing goosebumps to rise as I trailed down her skin. Soft moans came from deep in her throat as we continued to deepen our kiss creating a longing that called out to my soul. A hunger deep from within edged itself close to the surface of my entire being, calling me to surrender to my vampire side as another burst of white hot energy exploded into the air around us. I had never felt a need so strong for anyone before and the intense pleasure that filled my veins created a sense of euphoria through out my body.

"Ethan" Emory said in a throaty seductive lilt.

"Emory" I said back to her as I placed my forehead to hers and started in to her stormy gray eyes.

We had finally made it to the edge of the bed and as I stood there with her wrapped around me, forehead to forehead, memories began to flow into my mind, chapter after chapter of her life flooded me. She was letting me see her life before we bonded into one. My queen was exposing herself to her king the only way she knew how in order to catch us up on too many years that had been lost.

"I want you to do that to me so you can see who I really am before we complete the bond" I told her.

"Are you sure, I don't care about your past, I only care about now and our future" she told me truthfully.

"We don't have a traditional relationship, and we don't have the time to do it different so this allows us to be fully mated and bonded without any secrets" I told her.

"If you sure I will, but it changes nothing, you understand that right" she asked me hesitant to proceed.

I only nodded as I closed my eyes and prepared to bare my soul to her. I had nothing to hide and I was not ashamed of anything in my past, on a regret that I could have not been in a position to do all of this differently. I could feel a light tug at my consciousness as she entered into my mind, flipping through my many memories and seeing who I was, my family was and what my life consisted of. I finally felt her withdraw from my mind with a sigh as she looked up at me.

"It wasn't that bad was it" I asked her worriedly.

"No, its was just a lot to process" she said with a faint smile.

"We will have a lot to catch up on after all of this over with and we settle in. I can't wait for you to meet the rest of my family. They aren't all like my parents you know" I reassured her.

"I am not worried, I know as long as we are together it will all work out" she said as she sighed and stepped back sitting down on the bed.

I sat down next to her and pulled her close, turning her slightly so I could look into her eyes. I could see how overwhelmed she was and I was not quite sure where all of her confidence had gone. She had been through so much and now I felt that it was taking its toll on her.

"Emory, talk to me please. I have no idea what I am doing here and without you I am not sure I can" I told her.

"Ethan, its not you at all, it just everything is happening so fast. Don't get me wrong I have worked so hard for this very moment, but after seeing everything, I feel so selfish for taking you away from your life and into this one" She said quietly as she looked away from me.

"I never meant for this to go like this, I thought you would be searching for me like I was searching for you. I never really understood that by bringing you back to this life that I would be causing so much pain. I never wanted to hurt you, please forgive me. I am so sorry" she whispered out pulling away from me.

I watched her sink back into her own mind as I processed everything she said. I ran my hands through my hair as I let out a ragged breath. She was so wrong about all of this, I never had truly felt whole and had always felt like I was missing something. It was not until I met her that I started to feel complete, like whole again. I needed to tell her all of this before I lost her completely. Grabbing her arm gently I pulled her back to me causing a shocked gasp to leave her lips and her eyes to fly up to meet mine. Pain and regret rocked my mind when I saw what her eyes held and I knew I had to stop her from self-destructing.

"Baby listen to me, I want you and me together. I know what you saw but my entire life I have felt like I was missing something, like going through the motions and just surviving. I was not living, and the few days with you I have felt more alive than I have ever did without you" I told her as she watched me intently.

"I just don't want to be the reason you have regrets or family issues. Your mother didn't exactly like the fact that I brought them into this" she said sadly.

"My mother is difficult to begin with, but she is madder at herself and my father for all of this backfiring on them. They should have been a better King and Queen, hell they should have been better parents. My mother will come around and if not its her loss" I told her emotionally. I meant every word and I wanted her to know that.

"If your sure because in order for this bond to work we have to be completely genuine with each other" she said hopefully.

"I am more than genuine when it comes to you and I want things that I have never wanted with you, only you" I growled possessively earning me a shy smile.

Leaning down I captured her lips with mine in a possessive and hungry kiss that was meant to show her just how much I wanted her and wanted this. As our lips met and melded together I ran my tongue over her bottom lip, lightly nipping it asking for entrance. Granting my tongue into her mouth I was rewarded with a small groan as our tongues twirled with each other deepening our kiss. My hands were in her hair pulling her closer to me as she wound her hands around my neck. Breaking away from her lips I placed small feathery kisses down her jaw line as I made my way down her neck to where I mark her as mine. It was weird how all these instincts that were foreign to me days ago now seemed normal and expected.

Flipping Emory over to on her back I hovered over her as I continued my assault of kisses back up her neck towards her lips. I could feel a small bit of hesitation as I leaned over her searching her eyes for an answer of her sudden apprehension.

"What's wrong" I asked her puzzled.

"I have never done this, I saved myself for you" she whispered as she blushed slightly causing me to smile.

"Its fine love, I will take it slow with you and its my first time as a vampire, so I am not real sure what to expect" I told her smiling at her beautiful face.

"Oh that, it will be a bit different, more intense, well its what I heard anyway" she said as she tried to look away but I caught her face with my hand gently.

Instead of trying to calm her nerves I kissed her gently pouring everything I felt for her in that kiss causing her to moan into the kiss as I felt her relax underneath me. This was going to be a night of rebirth for both of us as we became one with each other and the new King and Queen.
