Prologue (1)

It started off like a normal summer day in the city, the wind was blowing gently, hardly a cloud in the sky. Birds were singing their summer songs and in the city cars were beeping while people were talking.

Somewhere fairly far away in a forest a strange woman was trekking through the wilderness.

Her body was tense as she crouched down towards a small stream that was trailing next to the sandy path that she was following.

She cupped her hands and drank some of the water, its cold yet fresh taste awakening her senses as she sighed in relief.

Closing her eyes the lady listened to the forest sounds, little birds singing and animals scampering all around on their tiny paws.

Far away from this woman, right above the city, there was an argument going on between two powerful beings called gods.

"He's already saved this world twice! I will not let you send him again!" One of the gods shouted, glaring at his brother, Zeus.

"Well someone needs to rescue her Poseidon! She is my wife, and your queen!" The other god, Zeus, angrily shouted back at Poseidon as he stood up and scowled over at Poseidon.

"Why don't you rescue her if you love her so much!" Poseidon roared at his brother, clenching his fists in rage as he too, stood up.

Lighting thundered above as rain clouds started forming above the city below, people quickly getting indoors so that they do not get hit by the dangerous bolts.

"Zeus, you need to calm down before you kill someone." A kind looking goddess softly told him, her eyes as warm as fire on a cold night.

Zeus closed his eyes and looked down, breathing in deeply to restrain himself from putting his brother in a choke hold.

Zeus slowly raised his head, opening his electric blue eyes which were narrowed in anger.

"I am your king, Poseidon, and whatever I say, you do" he said slowly, teeth clenched in anger from all of this disrespect.

It looked as if Poseidon was going to say something as he opened his mouth but another god beat him to it.

"My lords, I think you should calm down, they just left the elevator" another one of the gods, Hermes, told them.

Zeus and Poseidon glared at each other one last time before looking towards the door, just as seven teenagers walked in.

(It's going to be longer but was that good? Or should I change something?)
