CHANDRIA'S POV:

Pauwi na ako sa apartment ko habang bumuntong hininga, napagod ako sa training na ginawa namin ni Lucas kanina kahit hindi naman gaanong matagal ang training na iyon. But I've used a lot of Magic Spells but different elements, it must've drained my Mana Pool.

Not that I'm underestimating Lucas, but the fact that he was so arrogant but lose from the very end is just.. funny. I just can't believe he was so boastful but that was one of the cute sides of him.

Naglakad pa ako ng ilang minuto bago ako makarating sa apartment ko. When I arrived at my humble little home, I saw the same Limo car I saw back on the first day of class. Who owns that car anyways? And why does it seems like the owner of the car is waiting for someone near my apartment? Not that I care but it's parking near the apartment's gate.

Deretso lang akong naglakad at linagpasan ang sasakyan na nakaharang sa harap ng apartment ko. Papasok ba sana ako ang may isang nilalang na tumawag sa akin. “Chandria!” tawag ng kung sino man. Well, the voice actually sound familiar. Lumingon ako sa gawi ng tumawag sa akin at napagtantong so Prince Nathan pala ang tumawag sa akin habang winagayway Ang l mga kamay nito sa akin.

“Prince Nathan? What brings you here?” I asked as I gave him a smile. I faced him and I could see him smiling back at me. “Well, I won't waste your time and go straight to the point. Uhm, I would like to give you an offer.” he said as he awkwardly smiled at me. Napataas ang kilay ko sa kadahilanang naguguluhan ako.

“An offer? What kind of offer?” I asked curious and at the same time confused. “Since you have already declined my offer a few days ago, it would be great if you accept my offer right now. Our house is lacking some people, so, I would like for you to work at our mansion.” he said, explaining.

“Is that so? Well, what kind of work?” I asked, a hit of excitement mixed in my tone. “I am really in desperate need of work too since my managers fired me for not showing up to work for three days without informing them.” I said.

“Do you know how to cook?” Prince Nathan asked and I nodded as an answer. I have been cooking for myself all my life and I think that I'm good enough to cook, in addition to that, I also like explore and make my own recipes from the knowledge I have about food.

“If that is the case, then having you as our cook is good enough. Since you'll be cooking everyday, I'd like you to stay in our mansion too.” he said.

“I have to stay in your mansion? How about my apartment? I haven't been able to completely pay my debts from the landlady.” I said.

“Yes, you have to. You don't have to worry about paying, I already paid for you.” he answered and I looked at him in surprise. “You what? I can't have you do that!” I complained. I don't like owing someone.

“Okay, how about this, you'll pay your debts through your salary.” he said, and I paused and then nodded my head. That acceptable, “Okay.”

“So, when will I start?” I asked.

“You have to start working this evening. I have already packed your things and have been sent to the mansion half an hour ago. You don't have to worry about me seeing your things, I asked the landlady to pack your stuffs.” he said and chuckled and I glared at him but sighed anyways.

“You'll have to start making dinner by in between 5 pm and 7 pm since we eat dinner at 8. My whole family will be there.” he continued and I nodded my head.

“Okay, can I ask for your address? I'll be going there as fast as I could.” I asked and smiled at him.

“You don't have to worry about commuting, since I'm already here with my Butler, you can come with us.” he said and directed his attention to his butler just right behind him. “Butler Ong, let's get going.” he ordered. The butler bowed as a sign of agreement and respect and made its way at the cars backseat door.

Prince Nathan made its way inside the  car while another butler assisted me and brought me to another car. He brought two cars, ghad, rich people are exhausting.

The cars engine was started by the driver and the driver started to drive. Tahimik lang ako sa loob, takot na may masira ako lalo na itong inuupuan ko. Tumingin ako sa gawi ng babaeng nasa gilid ko, nakasuot ito ng maid attire.

“Excuse me, may itatanong sana ako.” Sabi ko at tumingin sa gawi ng babae. Tumingin naman sa akin ang babae habang nakataas ang kilay nito. Ngumiti siya sa akin. “Ano naman po?” tanong nito sa akin.

“Masarap ba magluto ang mga chefs or cook doon?” tanong ko at ngumiti. Tinitigan niya muna ako bago siya ngumiti sa akin. “Siguro, base sa sinasabi ng co-workers ng chefs doon is masarap naman silang magluto. We don't really eat the chef's foods, kami lang gumagawa sa sarili naming pagkain.” Sabi niya at tumango ako.

“Well, we did eat it once when both the princes were not around, and I can say it does taste good.” she continued at tumango na naman ako. “Is that so,” I said and smiled.

“Can I know your name?” I asked. “I'm Chandria.” I introduced.

“I'm Shandel Kim, you can call me Del, nice to meet you.” she said and smiled. Ngumiti din ako at inabot ang kamay ko. Tinanggap niya ang kamay ko habang nakangiti. “Nice to meet you too.” I said.

“My power is Telepathy. How about you?” she asked.

“Mine's fire.”

“Oh, nice.”

Nagku-kwentuhan lang kami ni Del. Marami kaming napag-usapan at nakisali nadin si Manong Edgar ang driver namin ngayon.

“Nandito na po tayo, Ma'am Cha at Del.” sabi ni Manong Edgar habang pinark ang sasakyan sa harap ng mansion ni Nathan.

Lumabas kami ni Del sa sasakyan, “Salamat, Manong Edgar.” sabay na sabi namin ni Del pagkatapos naming makalabas sa sasakyan.

Well, everything seemed to have turned slow mo. I was left at awe after hearing the mansion's scenery. Everything appeared only to be gold and silver. I never knew mansion could be this big.

It's very beautiful! Every corner of the place define elegance but at the same time simplicity too.

Nang makapasok kami sa mansion, mas nanlaki pa ang mata ko. Maganda na ang sa labas but what's inside is even more astonishing. All the unique antiques, gorgeous figurines of gods and goddesses, abstract paintings from famous painters, and even nice designed vases was placed all over but it suits the mansion's interior design. And if your eyes meet the ceiling, you could see gold crsytals and diamond chandelier, so huge it lit up the whole place. That chandelier is more expensive than my life.

“Cha, we're roommates.” Del said as she smiled at me. “Seriously?” i asked, surprise.

“Yes, nasa third floor ang room natin.” Sabi ni Del habang nakangiti at napatango naman ako.

“Talaga? Samahan mo ako, mag-aayos pa ako ng mga gamit ko.” Sabi ko at hinawakan ang kamay nito.

“Hindi na, pina-ayos ko na ang mga gamit mo sa co-maid ko. Besides, kailangan mo nang magluto malapit na ang dinner time ng Hari, Reyna, at ng mga Prinsepe.” sabi ni Del, tumango naman ako nang makita ang isang gintong wall clock sa likod ni Del.

“Okay, then lead me toward the kitchen.” Sabi ko at marahan siyang hinila. Napatawa naman si Del at dinala ako papuntang kitchen.

Makalipas ang ilang minuto, nakarating na kami sa harap ng isa na namang hunting pintuan. Binuksan ito ni Del at nanlaki na naman ang mata ko nang makita ko ang loob ng kitchen. This mansion is killing my eyes.

The kitchen is huge, mas malaki pa sa apartment ko. All materials necessary to a kitchen are complete here, even the interior design of the kitchen is better than what I thought it's design would be.

“This kitchen is exclusive for you, if you need help you can call for other cooks or maids. Well, that's it, see you later!” Sabi ni Del at lumabas sa kitchen. Ngumiti naman ako nang maiwan na akong mag-isa.

What should I cook? I have less than three hours to make the food, so I would it to be simple but delicious too. Cooking the recipes I've made would be nice.

Since I will be cooking for four people, I just thought of three recipes to serve.

The first recipe is called Spaghetti ala Cheesy Chicken. I made the recipe a few years back after eating spaghetti and chicken at the same time. I made the recipe out of speculations and after making it myself it actually tasted good.

It took me almost an hour to make this, the food is plated with spaghetti in the center, its sauce is tomato sauce mixed with chicken broth and chicken slices as well. The spaghetti pasta is not normal since it's home made with mozzarella and cheddar cheese at the center of the pasta. After the playing is done, a pinch of salt was placed above and as well as lemon zest for a little acidity.

The second recipe is called Meat Balls with Veggy Flavor Spicy Sauce. This recipe is easy to make, could be done for only half an our or less. The meat balls are home made. The sauce is Veggy flavor wherein I have to squeeze cabbage and pechay juices, and slice it as tiny as possible. Then after mixing the sliced cabbage and pechay, the vegetable juice would be mixed in as well. A slight chili powder is also mixed in for a little spiciness of the sauce.

The recipe is plated wherein vegetable Cole slaw is placed with lemon vinaigrette for flavor, two meat balls that was rested for a few minutes inside the vegetable sauce was placed around, and another batch of sauce was placed around the meatballs.
