(A/N) ~so I'm gonna start trying to do fist person point of view and see how it works out. Hope you enjoy!

Italics- dream

(Emma's POV) ~

  I was in a forest, frantically looking around for something. I didn't entirely know what I was looking for, but it felt like I was in panic.

  I heard a strange noise and started running in a random direction. I kept looking around, paranoid by the continuous noise coming from the distance.

I kept hearing that unusal sound, until heard another sound that was closer, crystal clear.

"EMMA!"

I froze. I was so sure that was-

"ETHAN!"

I called out. I was so glad he was here, maybe he can explain was going on.  He feels so close!

"EMMA!"

Why is he still calling out my name?  Did he not hear me?

"Ethan! I'm over here!"

"EMMA!"

Why is he not listening to me?  I start running towards his voice, completely ignoring the fact that the sound is still following my foot steps.

I kept running until I saw him standing near a tree. He had his hand over his stomach and his face was in total distraught.  I ran over to him almost immediately. When I got close to him, I found out why he was holding his stomach. There was blood slipping though his fingers and his eyes were full of tears. 

"Emma..."

He said in a whisper. He was the last thing I saw until a wave of black wash over me, while the sound of his voice echoed in the dark.

  I woke up to a lady giving me a light shake so I could wake up. Once she saw my eyes open she gave me a little smile. I didn't notice who she was until I sat up and rubbed my eyes.  I immediately felt embarrassed for not recognizing her before.

  Of course she's the Queen, why would she have a crown on her head if she wasn't? Which brings me to another question, why would she come wake me up her self? Doesn't she have maids to do that for her?

  I was about to ask her that, but I decided against it.  She turned around and headed towards the big dresser and grabbed something off of the top of it and headed back over to me.

"Here, drink up. I bet your thirsty."

She said in a nice and quiet voice. She handed me a cup filled with water. The cup looked like it was silver but also looked rusty at the same time, giving it a medieval look. I took the cup and drank some of water, not realizing how sore my throat was until now. It was so refreshing to just take a brink of water in my state, considering that I just woke up in a cold sweat.

"Thank you"

Was all I said, I could've said more but I was already too embarrassed since she probably heard me talk in my sleep.

When I have nightmares I tend to talk in my sleep. When I'm talking I'm usually talking about the main thing in the dream. So she probably just heard me say the word "Ethan" the whole time.

  "Come dear, we're having breakfast in the dining room. So go get dressed quickly ok?"

She said giving my hand a slight tug so I can get up.

"Ok..."

I groaned. I don't really like getting up in the morning. My mom says I act like a slug and I should drink some coffee. But the thing is, is that I don't like coffee that much. The smell is ok but the taste is like put vinegar on your tongue and then licking a cow!

Too much of a visual?

Ok.

I went to go get dressed and quickly realized that there was a lot of dresses in there, and I don't know about you but I hate wearing dresses. I just don't look good in them, even if other people say I do. So I kept rummaging around the dresses and finally found a pants suit. It looked a lot like a romper, but with longer pant legs.

I immediately put it on and took a look in the bathroom mirror. I didn't look great but I didn't look terrible either at least.

I walked out and headed out the bedroom door and went to the big dining room. When I walked in Ethan was already there, along with SaiAnn and surprisingly Ally too. There was also a 3 more people I didn't recognize who looked like guards from Lord of the Rings. The King and Queen were already there of course. So when I approached the door I could already tell that they've been waiting on me for quite a while. When I came in, they all started to stare at me and they were quiet until I sat down.

I sat down in between Ethan and SiaAnn.  Then all of a sudden, when I looked at Ethan, I remembered the nightmare. It gave me a very painful flashback, not just emotional but physical too.  I literally felt a pain on my heart. I just stared at him for a while until he cleared his throat.

"Wow. I didn't know I had that kind of effect on women."

He said it like he was talking to him self but he was staring at me the whole time. Luckily, the King and Queen were talking to the Lord of the Rings guards to notice this interaction. But I had a feeling that SaiAnn and Ally were listening to us.

"W-what effect?" I choke out

"That look that you have in your eyes. That sweet, kind, and caring look. But for some reason you have worry in there
too."

I wonder how he could have gotten all of that from just a simple look. I mean, yeah Im not good at hiding my emotions but still, that's a lot to get out of a look.

"Oh sorry. I guess I'm just stressed about whole ordeal."

To be honest I am still "ify" about the situation I'm in. I'm still trying to convince my self about this place being real.  I mean, even when I first found out about my ability, I still thought that I was dreaming then too.  I was always down to earth before my life changed.

"Oh,well, I totally get that." He said with a smile

He continued "I am also very worried about my family back home. Like my mom, my dad, and my sister. I just wonder how their doing."

Awwww..... He thinks about his family first than anything else! That's so cute!
Wait...........cute?

"So you're close to your family?"

"Yeah, I guess you could say we're close. Not as close as those families that do family game night every Friday night, but yeah."

He said with a chuckle. I looked down,  looking at my French toast that someone made for me. I remembered that I told him that my family does a family game night every Friday night to 'get closer cause I'm spending too much time with my friends' they say.

"Yeah I guess your right, your family isn't as crazy as mine."

He gave a little chuckle "Well my little sister, Sadie always says that she likes the idea of having a family game night, but I think she just wants to do that so she can get out of her homework."

I stifled a laugh, trying to keep my composer. If I didn't have my time powers so I can do my homework on time, I'd probably do that too.

"Yeah I guess that's what happens when you don't do your work on time."

He laughed and turned to his food again taking a bite of his French toast. We didn't talk for a while and it was getting kind of awkward.

Until SaiAnn started talking to me

"How did you find out about your powers?"

This question was enough attention grabbing for Ethan to turn around and pay attention to SaiAnn's question.

"Well....... Um.. You see.. I don't really know.  It just happened all the sudden. Last year I was being goofy and I snapped into a finger gun-" I chuckled "-and all of a sudden everything was frozen in time. I was so freaked out that I didn't un pause time until five hours later, it went back on by it self. Then I tried to snap again but it wouldn't go back until three hours later."

By the time I finished explaining everyone at the dining table were listening in on our conversation. I was so embarrassed that once I was done talking I looked back down to my now empty plate.

"So you have no idea if you got electrocuted by a watch or if it's genetic?" Ally asked

"Nope, no idea."

A little later after that, everyone was finished with their food and right as Ethan and I were about to leave the king stopped us.

"Wait before you to go I want to remind you that you have to train after you digest the food you just ate."

He went and pushed the Lord of the Rings guards over to us then waved a hand over to them as to show them like they were some kind of 'Price is Right' prize.

"These are the people who are gonna be training you and going with you on the journey.-" He looked over to the guards "-Please introduce your selves."

The first one, who looked like a guy walked one step closer.

"Hello my name is Landon."

He was followed by the next one who was also looked like a guy.

"My name is Zane."

Then he was also followed by the next one who was a woman this time.

"And my name is Madison."

"Hi" I say with a hint of excitement in my voice.

"Hello" Ethan says, making a little salute with his fingers.

"Ok you two better get going and digest that food before you start training."

The king said. We walked to our rooms with me in front of Ethan as we walk down the hall. Once I got to my room I immediately noticed that Ethan was following me. I turned around to him stopping abruptly in front of me.

"What are you doing?" I asked with a concerning look on my face.

"I just wanted to talk to you about something." He said returning my concerning face.

I was intrigued by his request, so I went to sit down on my bed and patted the spot next to me so we could talk easier.

"Ok what do you want to talk about?" I asked

"Have you noticed that everyone here - that is our age - has looked like our friends and conveniently, the first letter of their names are the same letter?" He asked, or more like said.

"This may come as a surprise to you, but no, I have not once gave a thought to that." I replied.

"Really?  Not one bit? At all?"

"Nope!" I said popping the 'p'

He seems surprised by this, but what does he expect me to be?  Sherlock?

"So....... I had the weirdest dream last night."

Why is it that when he changes the subject, that it has to be about dreams? It's like everything is trying to make me remember the nightmare that I just had. I hated that nightmare. I'm just glad that it's not real. I can't bare the thought of my new found friend hurt like that.

"Oh really?  What was it?" I replied.  My curiosity got the best of me.

"Oh it was REALLY weird. I was at my house, and I saw a little stubby fat man outside the window leading into the backyard. He was wearing a black suit with a ski mask on. He saw me see him and then I walked outside. When I got outside, he said 'I'm gonna rob your house tonight. Shhhhhh!!!  Don't tell your dad!' And then I said 'ok' and went back inside. When I went back inside I found my dad and immediately said, 'there's an idiot in the backyard claiming to rob our house.' Then he just nodded and he went back to his room. Then the dream skips to night time and the robber is now in my room and I immediately scream to the top of my lungs, and my dad came running in. Once the robber saw my dad and turned his back towards me, I grabbed a random baseball bat and swung at his head and he was on the ground in a matter of seconds. That's when the dream ended." He said.

"Wow that was a really weird dream." I said back, speechless.

"So what about you?  Did you have any dreams last night?" He asked

I had no intention to share my nightmare to any one, and especially not him! But what are the words that comes from my mouth? This!

"Yes, but It was more like a nightmare."

Ugh! It's too late to turn back now! When he heard this his face immediately dropped.

"Oh I'm so sorry. What was it about?" He asked with a concerned look on his face.

Don't say what it's about! Don't say what it's about! Don't say what it's about! Don't say what it's about!

"It was about.............you."

...And, I said it.

"Wait....really?  What happened?"

I swear, if you say what it's  about, I will internally kill you.

"Umm...... I was running in a forest-"

Aggrrhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Are you serious!!

"-and I heard you yell my name and when I heard you I called back, but you kept calling for me,...and I ran toward your voice. Then once I was close enough, I could see you holding your stomach. I ran even closer to you then quickly realized why you were holding your stomach. You were bleeding, and you were bleeding a lot. It scared me. Then you said my name one more time and then my dream ended. "

He just looked at me for a while with a concerned look on his face until he gave me a hug. I was surprised at first but then returned the hug. He whispered in my ear sweet nothings, but one thing he said stuck out to me.

"It's not real, I'm still here."

We just stayed there in comfortable silence until we heard - which is most likely the Queen - to come to the training room for our first lesson.

"Wow, time fly's so fast" I said.

"Yeah, let's get going shall we." He put his hand in front of me as he got up, offering me his hand.

"We shall" I giggled, taking his hand.

And off we went to our first training lesson.

YES! I'M SO GLAD THAT I'M FINALLY FINISHED!  I was so busy with all my Saturdays that I haven't been able to get any writing yet. And believe it or not, but I started Saturday and now it's Monday. And I'm sooooo sorry for not writing sooner. Have a great week
