Rohit was shocked was an understatement.

Rohit: Vami... You.. doc.. doctor??

Virat: She is an Army Doctor Ro.. And a damn good cardiologist.. to the level of a surgeon

His voice was full of pride for his daughter. Rohit could very well understand his emotions.. He too has two daughters and he too was equally proud on them..

Vami: Chachu.. Aapko kaisa lag raha hai ab?

Rohit: Better Vami

Vami: Aap na stress nahi loge kisi bhi baat ka and full bed rest samje..

Rohit nodded in yes. His gaze fell on Sammy who was not leaving his side and he hold her hand and gave it a gentle assuring squeeze. Finally after long time , there was a small smile came on her lips

Rohit: I want my Baba to smile always.. I love her smile..

Sammy hugged him tightly again.

Sammy: I love you Dada..

Rohit: I love you too baba..

Sana: Haan bas yeh karwalo inn dono se.. Ek ka self blame ka game finish nahi hota aur dusare ka I love you wala finish nahi hota.. ki baki sab bhi yahi hai.. Phir se hug karne ke liye khade hai.. Lekin yaha inn dono ko ek dusare ke alawa koi dikhta hi nahi.. Huh.. Give me a break guys..

All chuckled at her ranting. Rohit pulled her too in the hug and kissed on both of her daughter's foreheads.

Vami: Okay guys.. let him rest now.. Aap sab bahar jao and Papa aap ghar jao..

Rohit: Ghar se yaad aya.. Atharva ko samjaya kya kisi ne?

Vami: Isme samjane jaisa kuchh nahi hai. He said what he should have said. Anyways.. baki sab baad me discuss karna.. Everyone out now.. let the patient rest for a while.

AK leaned to Rohit to give him a parting hug. They were talking in low voice.

Rohit: She is khadoos like your Papa..

AK: She is "Khadooser" than Papa.. Specially Dr Vamika is to worst Khadoos.. Officer Vamika is still manageable khadoos..

Vami rolled her eyes

Vami: Khadoospanti pe essay likh liya ho to Akaay Maharaj aap Jane ka kasht karenge?

AK: Bye Ro chachu..

Saying so he went from there. Arya came inside..

Vami: Maine sab ko bahar jane ko bola. Inko rest karne dena hai

Arya: Yeah but main bas meds Dene aaya tha jo mangwayi thi

Vami: Oh..

Arya kept the meds on the side table and looked at Rohit.

Arya: You okay Chachu?

Rohit: Sort of Arya.. Dekho na kaisi Khadoos Doctor mili hai..

Vami glared at him.

Arya: Well I won't lie.. Khadoos to hai.

Vami glared at Arya too who was totally oblivious of the same continued talking to Rohit.

Arya: Lekin issi Khadoospanti ki wajah se aap aaj itne better condition me ho. Pata hai yaha ke doctor to data rahe the but she stood her ground and she was sure you will fight back and see..

Vami smiled at Arya who was already smiling at her. Rohit looked at them who both were just busy in looking at each other. Rohit raised his eyebrows and then cleared his throat..

That broke Arya and Vami's trance and they both started looking here and there. Rohit chuckled at their reaction. Arya went from there quite blushing. Vami was checking reports of Rohit though a blush was there on her cheeks too..

Rohit: Vami..

Vami: Ji chachu.. kuchh chahiye?

Rohit: Betho yaha

Vami: Ji??

Rohit: Sit baba..

Vami sat beside him on the bed

Rohit: You love him na?

Vami nodded in yes

Rohit: Then promise me you won't loose hope

Vami looked at him shocked

Vami: Chachu...

Rohit: Promise me Vami..

Vami: Chachu please.. It's not like I was not hoping or anything.. I didn't loose it for sure.. I know that but.. I wish a person could operate himself or herself too..

He forwarded his hand.. Vami put her hand in his.

Agu was shocked receiving the slap and so as others.. They too were shocked..

Agu: Mumma..

Yes.. It was Natasha who has come back to India from Serbia

Nats: What Mumma Haan? How dare you Agastya?

Nats: No Harry.. he is not a kid. He is angry doesn't mean he has lisence to say anything. 

Atharva: Chachi.. It's okay na

Nats: How come it's okay Atharva?

Atharva: Bhaiya was angry Chachi and he didn't mean anything

Agu: You know what.. It's just useless to even think you both can even understand me..

Agu went from there. Atharva was about to go after him but Harry stopped him

Harry: Tum uske paas nahi jaoge Atharva..

Atharva shook his head at his antics.

Nats looked at Rahul.. He was standing in front of her. She hugged him.

Nats: I am soo.. soo glad to see you back Rah.. I am so happy for you

Rahul: Thank you Nats.. I am happy to see you too. But it took you long enough to come

Nats: I thought so too.. I should have come earlier

Nats met Athiya too..

Athiya: Nats.. go freshen up

Nats was about to pick her bag but Harry picked it for her

Nats nodded in yes and went to her room followed by Harry.

Nats: You okay Harry?

Harry shook his head in no

Harry: Agu is not okay Nats.. How can I be okay?

Nats hugged him tightly to which Harry shed his tears getting vulnerable.

Rahul came to Agu's room and sat beside him.

Rahul: You okay Agu?

Agu: No.. I am not..

Rahul: Agu..

Agu: I know I am not a good person.. May be the worst person.. I know I shouldn't have said what I said but I didn't mean it Chachu.. I love Atharva.. please believe me..

Rahul: I know bachcha..

Agu: No you don't know.. none knows..

Tears fell from Agu's eyes. Rahul took him in hug.

Agu: I am sorry Chachu.. I wish Atharva jaldi se theek ho jaye.. Usko life ki saari Khushi mile sach..

Rahul: Thank you Agu..

Agu: Meri dil se dua hai Chachu.. Atharva jaldi se theek ho jaye..

Rahul caressed his hair.

Rahul: Kis baat se naraz ho?

Agu: Papa needs his strength back Chachu.. I am worried for him.

Rahul: He will come around Agu

Agu: He can come around if he opens his eyes and accept the things

Rahul: What do you mean?

Agu: As if you can't see Chachu..

Rahul sighed..

Rahul: He is not ready Agu..

Agu: Whatever.. Leave him for a while.. I want to request you something

Agu: Atharva ki baat maan lo Chachu..

Agu: Give him his sibling Chachu.. Maan lo uski baat.. (in mind) kahi der na ho jaye..

Rahul stiffened hearing this..

Rahul: Ready.. Ready ho jao Agu.. B-Ro se milne Jana hai

Rahul went from there. Agu sighed and he too got ready.

Ritz was with Rohit and found him lost in his thoughts. She has observed him getting lost in thoughts a lot since he got consciousness fully. It's been few hours only but it's very much evident. She put her hand on his shoulder gaining his attention.

Ritz: Kya soch rahe ho?

Rohit quickly masked his expressions and plastered a smile on his face.

Rohit: Kuchh nahi..

Virushka who were about to come inside have seen it. They could see the distance which has come between Rohit and Ritz despite of them still loving and being there with each other. The sharing of everything and anything has lost between them.. Virat ran from there to the terrace. AK saw it and before he could say anything, he saw Anu too ran after him. He got worried and went after them.

Anu: Vi..

Virat: Pata nahi hamare jaane ke baad aur kya kya bikhra hai Nushkie..

Anu: Lekin hum aa gaye hai na.. we will fix everything

AK: But you don't need to fix anything. They should fix themselves

Anu: Akku..

AK: Mumma.. I know they have suffered. Lekin apno ko khud se door unhone khud kiya hai.. Hum log sirf unko push kar sakte hai samja sakte hai apno ke wapas apnane ke liye.. but we can't change what they have felt when they were at distance.. woh unko khud hi manage karna hoga.. Jaise Jassi chachu aur Sanjana chachi ne kiya

Virushka looked at him with shocked expression

Virat (shocked): Jassi aur Sanjana..

Anu (shocked): What are you saying Akku?

AK: Yes Mumma.. Dono ladte rehte the.. Angad was too hurt you know because of them.. Lekin when I understood ki kafi sare issues hue hai apke Jane ke baad.. I decided to help them.. And they both are back together.. Apko kya lagta hai Jassi chachu kyu kuchh zyada hi clingy ho gaye hai Chachi ko leke..

Virat chuckled.

Virat: Definately it is our Akku's magic..

AK bowed down dramatically.

AK: At your service Sir..

Virushka chuckled.

AK: Ab batao iss baar kisko raste pe Lana hai..

Anu: Iss baar jisko Lana hai is not your cup of tea Akku.. It's our thing to handle.

Anu and Virat looked at each other and then nodded

AK: Papa.. Mumma..

Virushka looked at him

AK: Ro chachu is out of danger and hum sab unka dhyan rakh rahe hai.. Di is also better..

Virat: Come to the point Akku..

AK sighed

AK: We should also think about Atharva and Agu bhaiya

Virat: Atharva ka samaj me aata hai lekin Agu? Usko kya hua?

AK: He has suffered a lot Papa.. Unke parents ke divorce ne unko kafi affect kiya hai. Unhe gusse me kuchh pata nahi hota woh kya bol dete hai aur baki logo ko hurt kar dete hai.. lekin he didn't mean any of that.. He just wanted the happiness of his family back..

Anu sighed.

Anu: Let's try to help them too

AK nodded in yes

AK: And about Atharva.. Mujhe samaj nahi aata usko kaise samjao ki uski demand sahi nahi hai.. I tried lekin woh maan hi nahi Raha

Virushka just gave him a nod.

AK: Umm.. Papa..

Virat: Haan..

AK: Apko kya lagta hai? Rah Cha aur Chi maan jayenge Atharva ki demand puri karne ke liye?

Virushka looked at each other and sighed.

Vami: Lekin Chachu.. yaha pe abhi bhi aap ICU me ho.. Normal ward me nahi ki apko discharge Dene ke bare me soche

Rohit: Yaha ghutan si lagti hai

Vami: Don't worry.. Jaldi hi discharge ho jaoge aap agar apne Bina stress liye sab baat mani na meri to..

Rohit: Fine..

They were talking when Rahul, Athiya, Harry and Nats came alongwith Atharva and Agu..

Rohit: Nats.. what a pleasant surprise

Nats: What is this B-Ro? I have not come here to see you like this

Rohit: Sorry yaar.. Ab tum to baksh do.. sab ne achchhe se fatkar lagayi hui hai

Vami and Nats too meet each other while Harry, Rahul and Athiya met Rohit.

Agu: Get well soon Bade Papa..

Rohit: I'll bachcha..

Rohit then looked at Atharva. He could see the kid was quite pale than he has last seen him

Atharva: Apko kya? Aap stress lo aur enjoy Karo na

Rahul: And not to forget the tasty meds B-Ro.. Enjoy them too

Virat who has come inside heard the father - son duo's remarks..

Virat: Wohoo.. Looks like someone is getting the best sassy sarcastic remarks ..

Rohit made a face at him and rest all chuckled. Virat's gaze fell on Nats.

Virat: Hey Nats

Nats went to him and side hugged him

Nats: Hey.. I missed you and Bhabhi

Virat: We missed you too. Anu is outside with Akku

Nats: I'll meet her and come..

Harry: Main bhi aata hoon.. waise bhi kafi bheed hum log macha rahe idhar..

They both went from there after asking Rohit to take care.

Virat went to Agu. He kept his hand around his shoulder.

Virat: Don't ever think you are alone okay.. We are with you always

Agu gave him a small smile and then went from there once again asking Rohit to take care.

Athiya: Aap log baatein Karo main bahar hoon Ritz bhabhi ke sath

She went from there.

Rahul: Get well soon B-Ro

Rohit: I'll..

RohiRat looked at each other and then at Rahul who was checking the prescription and meds to check whether anything is needed..

Rohit: Arya aaj hi leke aaya hai sab

Rahul: Oh..

Virat: Sit Rah..

Rahul sat on the stool nearby Rohit's bed.

Atharva sensing that it was brothers' time, went from there asking Rohit to take care.

Rohit: You okay Rah?

Rahul: Haan B-Ro. Mujhe kya hua hai?

Virat: Rah.. Ro is talking about Atharva's demand

Rahul looked here and there. Rohit hold his hand and gently squeezed it.

Rohit: We are with you okay

Rahul gave him a small smile and nodded in yes

Rahul: Aap rest karo B-Ro. Aaj sab ke sath bahut baatein kar li. Main bahar hoon

He too went from there. RohiRat sighed. Virat sat beside Rohit and started caressing his hair

Virat: Don't stress Ro.. I am here. Once you are back at home na, we will sort things out okay.. This is not the right place to discuss anything

Rohit nodded in yes. Virat kept caressing his hair to which Rohit fell asleep in a while feeling calm having him by his side.

Rohit finally got discharged after few days and now he was at his home. Rest all were too at his house helping the Sharmas to handle things properly.

Rohit saw Arjun too was there.

Rohit: Tum Bangalore nahi gaye?

Arjun: Nahi Dad ne sambhal liya sab aur waise bhi aapko aise chhod ke kaise jata

Ritz: You know Ro.. he helped us a lot alongwith Vi.. Aur bas ek din hi Arya ko Jana pada meds lene baki Yeh hi sab dekh raha tha.

Rohit: Thanks Arjun

Arjun: It's nothing Mr Sharma..

Rohit: Abhi bhi Mr Sharma..

Arjun: To aur kya bolu? I call you with this only na

Arjun saw Sammy was carrying a heavy bag and went to her. He took the bag from her hand

Arjun: Why didn't you call me or Akku?

Sammy: Tum Dada ke sath the aur tumhara Akku dusari bag leke aa raha hai

Arjun: Haan to Vami ya Amy ko de Dena tha. They are habituated na

Sammy: Okay baba I'll keep that in mind.

Rohit: These two are looking cute na

Ritz: Yeah..

Ritz hold Rohit's hand.

Ritz: You okay Ro?

Rohit: Yup..

Ritz gave him a forced small smile and left from there. Rohit sighed.

Ritz went to garden of the house and was taking deep breaths to calm herself.. to control her tears but they kept falling. She wiped them hastily.

Anu: Don't wipe them.. Let them fall Ritzy

Ritz sobbed. Anu took her in a tight hug rubbing her back while Ritz kept crying..

Anu: I understand Ritz.. Calm down please..

Ritz calm down after a while.. They both were sitting on a bench.

Anu: It's okay and it will be okay

Ritz: How? You know once you guys left, Ro kept shutting down me too.. Sammy too.. It were Jaddu and Rah with whom he used to share sometimes..

Anu kept mum.. She let her speak

Ritz: Sana and Ro ke beech ki problems badh na jaye to main aur Sammy hum dono ne apas me zimmedari baant li... Ro.. Why is he doing this? He used to share with me too.. lekin limited.. kyu gaye tum log?

Anu: I understand Ritz..

Ritz: No you don't..

Anu: I do.. Me and Vi.. we have been through this phase too.. There was a distance between us too. Woh bhi tab jab hum dono ko ek dusare ki himmat banna tha.. We were together.. Our love was there.. but the pain.. the grief.. every other thing took the control and we didn't realise when the communication started getting very much limited.. It was Vami who brought this to us and we realised what we were doing. But in your case, it's just.. Ro is still affected with whatever happened.. Ritz.. he was madly searching for us.. it was the main purpose of his life and in that he must neglected many things.. including his own health and including the health of his relationship with you too. It's ok if he is not able to share.. Just be with him. The love, comfort , care, trust , everything is still there.. He wanted to share too but he is just not able to.. Have patience.. He will come around soon

Ritz: Pakka na Anu?

Anu: Vi ki kasam.. Ro himself will share what is going on in his tiny brain okay..

Ritz hugged her once again.

Virat was with Rohit who was half laying on the bed while keeping his head on Virat's shoulder.

Virat: Why is this distance Ro? Between you and Ritz?

Rohit: I don't know Vi.. I don't want to hide anything from her but.. I.. I just am not able to share.. I don't know why..

Virat: May be because you got habituated to keep things to yourself more than sharing it with Ritz??

Rohit: May be.. I know I am hurting her. I don't want to.. She is my love Vi.. I love her like anything. I should have been more open to her but I am not able to

Virat: It's okay not to be okay sometimes Ro. She is still your Ritz and you can still be that Ro in front of her.. take your time.. Whatever happened you are still affected Somewhere and it's just a phase.. it too shall pass. But you have to keep faith and have patience and most Importantly take steps. Try to share once, you will get the response of your Ritz only.

Rohit sighed and nodded in yes

Rohit: I guess I have again started overthinking.

Virat: May be Ro.. But you have come over it earlier and may be in the best way possible and you can do that again too okay

Rohit nodded in yes

Virat nudged him to which Rohit looked at him.

Virat: By the way, Welcome to the Club of Heart Patient Ro.. Now you have to eat that diet food..

They both chuckled. But then once again, there was a silence.

Virat: What is bothering you Ro?

Rohit sighed..

Rohit: Vi.. What if something..

Virat: Ro..

Rohit: Vi please.. we can't run away from the facts. What if something has happened, how will Ritz and my girls would have survived? I got scared Vi thinking about that

Virat took him in a side hug.

Virat: I understand this fear Ro.. I too have gone through this. But it's Nushkie who helped me to get over this thought. It's natural to feel like that.

Rohit: How is Vami?

Virat: She is doing good. Now you take rest okay. Don't think much

Rohit nodded in yes and layed down on the bed. Virat got up and was going to cover him but stopped seeing Ritz and Anu at the door. He saw Ritz was looking at Rohit who himself was looking at her. Virushka went from there giving them some space.

Ritz came inside and covered Rohit with duvet. She caressed his hair. Rohit turned to her and hugged her. A smile came on Ritz's face.

Rohit: I am sorry..

Ritz: I should have understood that it will take time for you to get back to that old normal

Rohit: I should have talked to you Ritz.. I should have shared things with you. Believe me I wanted to, but I just couldn't

Ritz: It's okay Ro.. we will get through this together

Rohit: Thanks for being so understanding Ritz

Ritz kissed on his forehead.

Rohit: Ritz.. I.. I have been thinking about Sammy and Arjun

Ritz: Unka kya?

Rohit: I guess.. we should talk to Batras

Ritz: And how come this came to your mind so suddenly?

Rohit looked here and there

Ritz: Don't tell me Ro just because you got heart attack you are thinking about this

Rohit sighed

Ritz: Not done Ro..

Ritz: Ro.. they love each other and we will talk to Batras when the time comes.. when we feel genuinely and not because of this stupid heart attack.. It will hurt Sammy and Arjun both.

Rohit: But.. I.. I am scared Ritz.. kuchh.. kuchh ho jata to.. bachche.. tum.. sab kaise..

Ritz took him in a tight hug rubbing his back.

Ritz: Calm down Ro..

Rohit broke into tears letting out his fear in the form of tears.

Ritz: We will handle things together Ro. This too shall pass.

Rohit nodded in yes and calmed down. Ritz made him sleep and stayed beside him only thinking about Sammy and Arjun

Rohit's health was improving. Arjun used to stay with Sharmas to help them. As Ritz was by his side, Rohit's fear too took a back seat and Rohit has started sharing everything with her though gradually but he started.

And today all were at Sunil's farm house at Khandala. They used to go there a lot.. Specially Atharva and he was really happy.. but little did he knew that this was a plan to divert his mind from having a sibling and a chance to make him understand he was not right.

Rahul: You know Atharva.. Kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahaan nahi milta. Hum jo chahe woh hamesha nahi mil sakta..

Atharva: It still doesn't gonna affect me Papa

Sunil: Atharva beta this decision should come from inside beta.. Should come by will and not by force na bachcha

Atharva: Haan.. I am sorry for that but I still want it to be happen and I can't compromise in that

Athiya: Atharva..

Atharva: Mumma Maan jao na please.. Papa please..

Atharva went to him.

Ahan: It's too personal for a couple and none.. literally none is allowed to say a word on it

Angad: I am sorry Nanu.. Even though I know his demand is not right, I can't oppose him too. I know the importance of having a sibling

Arya: Same here Nanu.. we both are single child and we know the void we feel..

Vami: I understand where his this thought has come from. And I am at his side.

All the kids except AK and Sammy were at Atharva's side. The elders were getting somewhere a reality check on what they kids have hidden from them though they were having their own reason and may be a valid one too but not talking to their kids about some points openly, was something where they went somewhere wrong.

Athiya: Atharva.. I am telling you for the last time, forget about your demand. Agar Zara si bhi izzat karte ho na hamari to bas karo ab..

She ran from there crying. Rahul went after her. They were in the garden.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya hugged him tightly. Rahul was rubbing her back.

Atharva sat on a chair with a thud.. Vami sat beside him and took him in a hug.

Atharva: Why don't they understand Di?

Virat: Atharva bachcha.. kuchh cheeze hamare hath me nahi hoti na.. hmm.. abhi iss baat se aur stress mat do unn dono ko.

Vami: Papa please..

Sana: Vi chachu.. aap log please Atharva ko kuchh mat kahiye. Iske.. iske apne reasons honge.. Bachcha hai lekin samajdaar hai. Aur mujhe pura bharosa hai uspe

RahIya came back though they both were looking lost.

Jassi: I really think the silence is not a key here.

Athiya: Atharva..

Atharva looked at her.

Athiya: I am sorry.. I am hurting you but please aisa kuchh mat mago jo..

She again burst into tears. This time tears fell from Rahul's eyes too.

Rahul: Atharva..

Atharva went to them. He wiped Athiya's tears gently.

Atharva: Please don't cry Mumma.. Papa please.. I can't see you both in tears.. Aap logo ko nahi manni na meri baat.. theek hai..

Atharva went from there while wiping his tears which were falling continuously.

AK: Main dekhta hoon usse.

AK went after him to his room and found him crying hard. AK ran to him and took him in a hug to which Atharva broke it and went to a distance.

AK: Atharva..

Atharva didn't say anything but he went to bed and layed down covering himself fully letting him know that he is not interested in talking to him.

AK sighed and went from there.

It was lunch time and all were having food.

Athiya: Atharva.. dekho tumhare liye dosa banaya hai

Atharva: Thanks Mumma lekin mera man nahi hai

Athiya: Maine banaya hai

Atharva: Thanks for the trouble Mumma..

Rahul: Apne bachcho ke liye kuchh bhi karna trouble nahi hota

Atharva: Yeh baat aap dono na bole to better nahi hoga..

Saying so he went from there.

Sana: Aap log please uski baato ka bura mat maniye.. Uske emotions abhi over me nikal rahe hai. He is on high dosage of meds. Mood swings hote rahenge.. Aap log please khud ko shant rakhiye abhi..

RahIya nodded in yes but Rahul went from there. The men went after him while Athiya again burst into tears. The ladies were trying to calm her.

It's been two days and Atharva was way too much silent. He was not even talking to anyone.. even not Sana.. Rahul and Athiya were trying hard to make him talk but it was all in vain.

Finally Rahul had enough.. His patience broke .. he was feeling restless since the time they have come here but he didn't share it with anyone.. It was a strange restlessness which even he was not able to understand. He got up and went to Atharva's room.

Rahul: Let's go on a walk Atharva.. What's say

Atharva looked at other side

Rahul: Chalo bhi..

He dragged him from there to garden and they were walking side by side while Rahul has still hold Atharva. Suddenly Rahul stopped making Atharva too stopped at the place. He frowned and looked at Rahul who was looking at a particular place in the garden.

Atharva: Kya hua? Ab apko walk nahi karna??

Rahul smiled looking at the place whereas Atharva frowned more.

Rahul: Woh place hain na waha.. pillars hai..

Atharva: Haan to??

Rahul: Let's go there

They went there and Rahul was caressing the pillars. He stood at a particular place.

Rahul: You know Atharva.. I was standing right here when your mamu came here bringing your Mumma.. As my Bride..

Atharva who was disinterestedly hearing everything suddenly snapped his head towards him. As The importance of the place sinked in, he found himself smiling ..

Rahul: You know I used to claim that I'll treat my girl like a princess and see how I treated her..

Rahul: Agar sahi me I have treated her like a Queen na, she must not be crying till she fell asleep almost daily.. she should have smile on her face but what I have seen is just stress and tension

Atharva looked down

Rahul: Tia and me.. we both have siblings.. we know the value of a sibling Atharva.. And we.. we are really sorry for that void in your life bachcha.. We really are..

Rahul's voice cracked towards the end. Atharva's eyes instantly teared up. He shook his head in no

Rahul: Agar.. agar halaat kuchh aur hote to.. you didn't even need to demand it kiddo.. Having a child or not is the decision which is way too much personal for a couple Atharva.. It's not something which should be demanded Atharva.. It's not a thing.. It's a human..

Atharva looked down..

Rahul: Tia and me.. we always wanted two kids.. Pata nahi kyu but we just wanted two kids.. But having a baby is a Blessing Atharva.. One cannot even describe in words how it feels. And believe me we had our Gala time while Tia was carrying you.. It was not an easy one.. Not at all an easy one.. It was a difficult one but we still were happy and greatful for the blessing.

Atharva: Papa.. main..

Rahul: You know you would have a sibling if we.. we had not lost our first..

Rahul's voice choked. Atharva hugged his arm.

Rahul: Aur.. aur baad me when we thought we should think about.. about having another baby, that attack..

Tears fell from Rahul's eyes. Atharva rubbed his arm.

Rahul: Atharva.. we love you a lot.. khud se zyada.. Iss duniya ke sare sukh sari khushiya sab kuchh hum tumhare liye chhod sakte hai..

Atharva: I know Papa..

Rahul: Tum samajdaar ho Atharva.. Bachche nahi ho itne bhi ki aise hi koi bhi baat bol doge.. You must have felt the void of a sibling..

Rahul sighed.

Rahul: Will you believe me and your Mother if I say we would have agreed to whatever you asked if we could have?

Atharva looked at him shocked

Rahul: We are human Atharva.. Human body has its own limitations. After a certain age..

Atharva: I know Papa..

Rahul: Hmm.. All I can say is.. We are sorry Atharva.. Itne saalo baad hum sab saath me the aur tumne pehli baar kisi ko Dil se manga aur main aur Tia woh nahi de sakte.. We.. as humans have surpassed that age Atharva.. but.. But if it would have been otherwise.. we would have definitely tried to give you your sibling even if we would have to deal with anything.. Sach beta..

Tears fell from Atharva's eyes.

Rahul: Sorry Atharva..

Rahul got up and started leaving.. Atharva stopped him.

Atharva: Papa.. I know you and Mumma love me a lot.. shayad sabse zyada mujse hi pyaar karte ho..

Rahul: We love you the most Atharva

Atharva: I thought so too Papa.. Aur shayad yahi sach hai.. Aap dono mujse sabse zyada pyaar karte ho.. Kash mujhe samaj bhi paate.. Sirf pyaar karna kafi nahi hota Papa.. Jisse pyaar karte ho usko samajna bhi padta hai.. I was under illusion that aap dono samajte ho mujhe.. abhi nahi to baad me samaj jaoge mujhe.. Kuchh din me samaj jaoge.. But I was wrong.. Aap dono na mujhe pehle samajte the aur na abhi samaj rahe ho.. Aur ab.. Aur ab to shayad itna time bhi nahi hai ki samaj bhi paaoge..

Rahul's heart skipped a beat hearing the last line.

Rahul (angrily): Atharva...

Rahul slapped him..

Atharva: Sachchai yahi hai Papa.. Aur jitni jaldi aap iss baat ko accept kar loge utna apke liye hi achchha hoga..

Saying so Atharva started leaving but stopped hearing a loud sound..

Okay so that's it for this chapter. I really don't know how I have written it. I have literally deleted half of the chapter while writing as it was not going well. I still feel I fell short on this chapter..
