Leave Fuuga
[Before dawn]
Yoko's pov:
"Nngh!" i groaned then fluttered my eyes open. "What happened?" i sat up on my futom then rubbed my head in pain. Memories started to flow back on me that made me realized about the events i did earlier.
Flashback...
I was fighting the soldiers without any sign of killing them, i started to have headaches then a voice kept whispering in my mind saying, "Kill. Kill!" i tried to concentrate to the fight, but the voice is irritating and its trying to control me. Good thing i can overcome it because i'm not sad nor angry.
It's so fun fighting the guards, especially throwing them up in the air, then they landed on the trees, and screamed like a girl.
After i left those bozos run away, i quickly put my mask on to ease the stress out. I need to finish this task before my strenght runs out.
Present time...
I moaned and rubbed my head in pain at least my mask is still on my face. "How long did i have been sleeping?" then i heard the door slide open.
'You're awake.' a familiar voice greeted me.
"Suzu?" i turn around and saw a brown haired woman.
'I'm not Suzu. I'm Kotone.' she joked. She is wearing a green kimono and it was held together with a orange sash. She brought along with a tray of food.
"Oh, hello Kotone. I'm Yoko." i played along that we laughed. I folded my arms over my knees while watching her served the food beside me.
"How long did i slept?" i asked while drinking a cup of herbal tea. I just love it when the sweet medicine healed my throat and spread throughout my body.
'More like two days, i guess.' Suzu shrugged like its no big deal.
"T-two days?!" i exclaimed.
XD 'Just kidding!' she laughs. 'You only slept for two hours.'
An irk expression appeared on my face. I furiously throw the cup at her head earning an "ow" from the fox.
Third person's pov:
After Suzu explained everything while Yoko is still unconcious, the black dragon was glad to hear Tae-yeon has already taken his medicine.
After the meal, Yoko started to notice Suzu is completely lost in her thoughts. She asked if there's anything wrong. The yokai shook her head snd answered, 'Nothing. Its just years ago a strong, brave warrior has saved my life.'
"Then who would that be?" Yoko asked, seemed interested at the subject.
'Elder Mundok.'
"What?!" Yoko's jaw dropped in disbelief. "Why him?! He's old!!" she blurted out.
'But that was decades ago. I was in my human form that time he saved me.' the fox explained. 'Besides we parted a long time ago.'
"Hm?" the black dragon was curioused about the nine tails and her life. "Suzu how exactly old are you?"
The yokai hesitated for a moment, then answered, 'You must have noticed that i still kept my disguise on. I lied that i was your cousin and went to the capital to see you.' she dodged the subject.
Yoko shook her head lightly. "Suzu that's not what i meant." as she looked up the nine tails dissappeared. "Gone?" she groaned from the fox for leaving the subject. It made her more curious about the yokai's past that made her wonder if Suzu is about a hundreds of years old.
Its no time to asked questions. Yoko picked up her tray of dirty plates, then exit her room, and walked towards the kitchen to return the dishes. After that she explore around the hallways until she heard General Hak and Elder Mundok's voices behind the screen door. Curiously, she eavesdropped the conversation.
Hak: Tomorrow morning i will leave the tribe. I'll return the "Son" name to you.
Yoko's eyes widened in shocked at the words. She can't believe it. Hak is leaving the tribe. What about the princess' safety?
Mundok: You intend to leave the princess?
The question interests her to hear the answer.
Hak: She's gradually gotten to the point where she can smile a bit. I think it was good to brought her here. Besides Yoko will take care of her.
"No wonder..." Yoko sweat dropped at the explainations. Hak even told the elder that he must hide the princess from the castle, but Elder Mundok reponse, "No". It made Yoko brightened in relief.
Hak: Gramps...
Mundok: As long as it is a request from my grandson, i won't listen. I don't intend to let you go. However, if it is a command from the Head of the Tribe. I will have no choice but to comply...
"What?!" Yoko was shocked at the explainations.
Hak: This is the final order of Son Hak, Leader of the Wind tribe.
Mundok: As you command.
The black dragon fell on her knees. She can't believe it... Hak is gonna leave them alone in the Wind tribe. It was supposed to be her to left the tribe. Without her happiness, Yoko might caused more bad luck to this tribe. She can't let this happen to the people.
Yoko quickly hide on the ceiling as Hak left the room. Once his gone she jump off the ceiling trying her best not to make a sound, but the former General sensed her presence.
"Yoko?" he was surprised to see her.
"Elder Mundok." she bowed respectly to him. She noticed there are tears trailing down his cheek.
The retired general urged her to come in. Yoko entered the room and closed the door behind her. She indian seated at the opposite side of the table in front of Mundok.
"You must have heard the conversation."
She nodded not wanting to lie the elderly. "Hak...is leaving?" she asked.
Mundok nodded. "I couldn't believe that i lost an another grandchild." he sighed in hopelessness.
The black haired girl adjusted the mask on her face and clasps her fingers at each other.
"I heard everything from the merchants. I was surprised to hear that you can fight." he said.
"It was supposed to be a secret that only a king and the Raijuu must know about this." she explained. "When i heard the rumors about Soo-won to be the ruler of the kingdom, i am relieved and glad that i escaped the castle with Hime-chan and the Thunder beast. If i stayed at the palace, then Soo-won will know about my abilities, and used me for purposes."
"I see."
(A/N: 9 years ago, General Mundok tried to adopt Yoko as his granddaughter, but she rejected his request because of being attached to her new-found job.)
"Elder Mundok. I need to go with you're grandson. Since i'd attacked the Fire tribe officials earlier, i might become a criminal as well. I don't want the Wind tribe get involve to this problem especially Yona-hime."
Mundok was shocked to heard this. "No. I'm not allowing you to leave Fuuga for the princess's sake Yoko!"
"I know but..." she exhaled. "With or without the princess, i am a free spirit. For 10 years in the palace, i've always wanted to see the outside world again. Hence the princess is staying here then i won't have a problem of keeping an eye on her."
"I can't believe i'm losing an another grandchild." he shook his head.
Yoko was surprised that he called her his "grandchild".
"For the past many years even though you're a servant; i have thought of you as my granddaughter. Even Lord Soo-won and the Princess as well."
"I know..." she looked down. "I'm sorry but i had to do this. For the Princess' sake."
"I understand."

After the dicussion, she left the mansion and started to find the store. Since she became the "Hero" to this tribe, the merchants gave her stuffs for free in exchange for saving them.
Yoko took a bow, a quiver full of arrows, extra daggers, a canteen of water, extra clothes (just in case), and even bandages. Also a small shoulder bag to keep her stuffs in.
While packing, a small hairpin fell on her pouch that tied on her necklace. She picked it up and stare at it on her fingers. It is embroided with precious stones and delicatedly carved out by hand. It is strange for a servant to had such an expensive item, but it is belong to her mother. She carefully put the accessory back into the pouch and hid it under her shirt. No one will know about this. No one.
-------------------------------------------------
This is the design of Yoko's hairpin; it is only 30 cm long by ruler.

Hak was walking towards the gate with his stuffs ready for long travels. He has a new attire which is a sleeveless blue overcoat seamed with bluish black hemlines over a royal blue robe with black collar and sash. He ties black ribbons in a crisscross pattern over the lower half of his sleeves to prevent them from getting in the way when he is fighting. Underneath his robe, he wears black pants and a pair of dark brown boots overlaid with more crisscross-patterned ribbons. He also brought his quandao that the blade is covered with a cloth and teid in crisscross-patterned ribbon.
He knew he had to leave Fuuga for the sake of his people, his friend, and for the sake of his master.
"HAK!!!" a voice yelled coming closer towards him. He froze and turn around to see Yoko like she is ready for travelling.
"Yoko?!" "Is she trying to stop me?" he thought and clenched his spear.
She stopped without any single sweat or exhaustion at all. "I'm coming with you." she continued and stood up.
"The Princess?" he asked her.
"She doesn't know about your departure." she answered.
The Raijuu thought for a moment then accepted her to join his travels. They continued to walk towards the gate and spotted Tae-woo there.
"Tae-woo...it seems you're taking the gatekeeping seriously today." Hak commented.
The guard was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed on his chest. "I can't sleep if the guy who has my back isn't here." he replied.
"No wonder he didn't sleep at this hour." Yoko muttered.
"Where are you two going?" he asked them.
"We're leaving this place." she answered.
"Oh... See ya later."
They continue to walk, but halted as Tae-woo said, "You serious?" Yoko nodded.
"So the next head of the Wind tribe will probably be you." Hak added.
"No! That's such a pain!" he stammers. "Though there are few things i want to talk about first... YOU TWO ARE GOING TO LEAVE MISS RINA BEHIND?!"
"I thought about seeing her face a final time." he murmured. "I'm leaving her in your care, too."
The black haired guy smirked. "Taking care of a Princess with such circumstances is a huge respinsibility." His words that made the two froze that their secret is known.
"So you knew...?" asked Yoko, them they turn their heads at Tae-woo, but he immediately fall asleep.
"Haaak!! Yoookoo!!" a familiar voice shouted at the distance. "I'm leaving this place! Come with me!" Yona halted as she huffed from out of breath.
The two are shocked to see then listen to what Hime-chan has to say. "I'm leaving this place." she repeated. "If i stay here, Capitol Fuuga will just drawn into the conflict."
"Go back." her bodyguard told her. "I've already told the Elder what i want him to do. This place is going to be safe now. You can live here in peace."
"What about you, Hak and Yoko?" she asked. "I don't remember allowing you two to leave."
"It doesn't matter if you allow or don't allow us to go. I'm not the General anymore." he told her.
"I'm not your servant either, Hime-chan." Yoko crossed her arms. "We can travel freely now...without the troublesome obigation of caring for you."
"As long as you lie low Soo-won can't lay a hand on you, either." Hak added, then the two are on their way, but Yona blocked them. "Move."
"I've already made up my mind." she stammers.
"No matter how much you want us to i'm not taking you." he told her. "Well then... Do you has any money?"
She didn't answer.
"If you want to come with us then i'll had to protect you. Yoko doesn't need to pay since she is capability of protecting herself." he explained. "I'm asking you right now can pay me for my abilities in exchange for money. Or..." he grab her wrist. "Perhaps you'll pay with your body?" he gave her a seductive look.
0.0 "That's bold!..." Yoko muttered. All she did nothing, but to watch those two "love birds" hoping that there's something to record this amazing scene.
"I don't have anything to give you." she replied.
"It's nice to see you understand. Now go back." Hak let go of his grip. "Good bye. Princess Yona." he left along with Yoko.
But Yona doesn't want to let her bodyguard and servant go away. "However, i do want you." she grabbed the nearest person's shurt which is Hak's and forced him to face in front of her. "Give yourselves to me both of you, Hak and Yoko!"
Both of their eyes widened in shocked. Yoko noticed Hak's strange reactions as he kneeled down while muttering up some words. The black haired girl let out an applause that made the Princess confused.
"You won, Princess." the black haired male smirks, then stood up.
"Great job Hime-chan!" Yoko gave Yona a thumbs up and smiled gleefully.
An arrow flew out of nowhere and it aimed to Hak. They dodged then the former General showed up while trembling to pull an another arrown on the bowstring. "H...ak...!"
"Gah! Gramps!"
"Mundok?"
"I have been listening for a while, and i heard you repeated insults towards the Princess... What were you thinking?!" he is so angry that he squeeze both bow and arrow and it split into two, except for the bow.

"Calm down Elder Mundok." Yoko stated patiently and took the weapons away from him.
