Clear as a Glass part 2

Yoko's pov:

Yona-hime and i, are in her room hiding. She is trying to avoid Soo-won for his sake from Kan Tae-jun.

"Hime-chan. You look glum than usual." i commented.

o_O "S-Shut up Servant!" she yelled then buried her face again on the table. "It's just... Hak is angry at me. I was just asking for help." she answered.

I pour her a cup of herbal tea to help her relax. "Hm- I did somehow noticed that Hak doesn't seemed in a good mood earlier." i sat down at the table in front of her.

I pour myself a cup of herbal tea and drink it. "You shouldn't asked too much to him. It could stress him out." i commented then place my cup on the table. "Why can't you asked Soo-won instead? He is your cousin and your crush, after all."

0///0 She raised up. "You sounded just like Hak and also, i can't...!" she flushed. "I don't want anyone to hear more about this especially Soo-won."

"-_- I deadpan. "Yona. You shouldn't asked too much to someone. Your a big girl now and you need to handle by your own. In that case, why don't you give Hak a peace offering?" i commented.

"Huh?"

"You said he's angry at you. Maybe he'll forgive you if you give something to him."

My words made her lightened her up. "Your right!" she stood up and left her room.

I stare at the cup of tea that Yona didn't touched. I sighed in complete boredom and thought, "Yona doesn't even drink her tea, not even a single sip."

Time skip>>>

I stride down the bleak hallways as usual. Its so boring. Remembering my childhood memories, whenever Hak and Soo-won visited the palace it's always fun.

"Sigh~ I wished that somehow this palace won't be boring as usual." i pondered.

I scratch my hair and adjust my mask on my face. Now what will i do? I accidentally bump into someone.

"I'm so sorry." i apologised and look at him. "Soo-won?" i was surprised to see him.

(A/N: Soo-won's hair is not long that time, but he still tied his hair.)

"Yoko-san, it's good to see you. :)" he greeted.

I pouted in boredom. "Yeah- Great to see you too." i greeted back.

He tilted his head. "Yoko why aren't you smiling? You always do that everytime." he asked me.

"Not in this time." i replied. "I was so bored today and i can't get into your royalty games Soo-won." i answered in my mind.

"Oh-" he sweat dropped. "So, where's Yona? I want to meet her." he turn his head left and right then walked foward away.

o_O "W-wait. Soo-won." i blocked him. "Yona isn't feel well today. I think it is the best for not visiting her in this time."

"Are you sure?"

"Y-yes." i justified my answer. "Her condition is worst and it'll effect you immediately if you get close to her. That's why i can't serve her today." i lied. "Gomenansai Soo-won, but Yona told me not to."

"I see..." he look down then smiled again. "In that case please say hello to Yona for me. I hope she gets better." he left.

I sweat dropped. "Whoa. He changed his expressions in a quick pace."

"No!" i heard Yona's voice nearby.

I peeked beside the building and saw Yona facing Tae-jun, protesting that she will not go with him. I smirked, "Looks like she followed my advise." I watched then i saw the lord tried to get Yona closer to him, but she's struggling to set free. Anger surges inside me. "How disrespectful!"

I cannot fight him so i ended up speeding on the hallway towards the throne room, without anyone noticing my stealthy speed.

I slowed up as i saw King Il exited the throne room. I halted in front of him then bowed.

"King Il. Yona is in trouble." i called.

"What?!" his eyes widened then i showed him the way.

We stopped as we saw Hak talking to Tae-jun while embracing the princess. We are shocked at it, but they didn't noticed us behind.

We eavesdropped at the conversation. Hak told Tae-jun that he and Yona make pledge since they are little. Tae-jun asked Yona if she loved Hak to prove that is true or a lie. That's the most difficult part.

Yona hugged Hak's arm and confidently confessed Tae-jun that she loved Hak. We are shocked after she said that. "Is that true?"

First, they had a ranking competition which Hak won and Tae-jun losed in humiliation. Tae-jun was about to unsheath his sword to test Hak. In a flash, King Il stopped him by grasping the blade with his right hand. I was utterly shocked at the emperor's actions, but at least Tae-jun left.

"I didn't know you two were in that kind of relationship." he said without feeling the pain at all.

I approached and stood beside the emperor. Both Hak and Yona parted away immediately.

"Fa-Father! You've got the wrong idea!" Yona protested.

"Yeah. He'll never come around again if i say that, right?" said Hak.

"You talk too much, Hak." i said, but still grinning from the scene.

"Hak... You're finnally willing to become Yona's bodyguard." said King Il with full of remorse. "I knew i could count on you."

"I'm honored." Hak replied with no hesitation.

I sweat dropped in disbelief. "What?!"

"I'm entrusting Yona to you." the Emperor added. "Yona's servant, Yoko will give you much information you needed."

Hak kneeled down in acceptance, then Yona and her father left us alone. I gaze at the Emperor's wounded hand. This is the first time i saw him hold and injured by a weapon without uttering anything.

Hak stood up then i snickered. "What?"

"Welcome to the royalty games, Hak." i teased. "So, by the way, why did you just suddenly accepted the Emperor's request even though you rejected it at first?" i asked him.

He smirked. "Did you noticed the king's wound?" i gaze at him. "He didn't show any pain at all."

"Yep. I clearly noticed." i nodded in agreement.

"That king..." Hak muttered. "Is no coward."

[night time]

Hak's pov:

In the end, i became the royal's pet dog. Sooner or later, i be ended up just like Yoko.

(Yoko's reation: I'm going to kill you HAK!!!)

I stroll alone in the hallways of the palace. Remembering earlier when King Il grasps the sword, i was amazed to see him didn't make a single express of pain at all.

*sigh* "I'll be stuck here. Forever." i halted as i heard the sound of metal at the training area. I followed the sound and saw Yoko, weilding the sword while doing some different types of moves.

I watched the scene in awe. This is the first time i saw Yoko hold the weapon. Also, those moves she used are quite unknown and amazing.

She stopped her training, and took a bow and arrow, then she aimed it at me. I dodged and the arrow embended on the wooden wall.

"Oooh-! Nice reflexes Hak. *^v^*" Yoko hummed.

(Author: o_O Is she's trying to kill him?

Sister: You made her do it.

Author: Shut up! Lemme do the talkie here!

Sister: This girl's retired here from writing and she wanted to join.

Author: "-_-)

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME OR SOMETHING?!" i blustered.

She smiled like it's no big deal. "That was your first test and now your second test." she gestured me to come.

I climb down the railing, then approached to her, and halted a few meters in front of her.

"I thought it was supposed to be daytime?" i crossed my arms.

"You showed up so i changed my mind that we'll do it tonight." she answered. "Your second test will be your abilities. You need to fight in order to prove you're worth it to protect Yona."

"Yeah, yeah. I already know that." i blabbered in disinterests.

She snickered. "Good. Picked out your weapons and fight me." she pick out an another sword.

"Does she really have to be my tutor?" i picked out the nearest weapon which is a Hsu Quandao.

"Since i had no choice, but to show my abilities. After all, it's the king's decisons. Ready Hak?" she asked as we stood in defensive stance. I nodded in annoyent. "Good." she smirked.

I charged towards her. Yoko blocked my blow using only one sword with the other one behind her back, still grasping it on her hand.

"W-wait a minute... How did she outmatched my strenght?"

Third person's pov:

The black haired male and the masked female fought with a tremendous battle. Strenght over speed vs. Speed over strenght. Yoko has speed and intelligence unlike to Hak, he has speed, intelligence, and strenght. All three can make Yoko lose if she didn't use her powers.

Hak tried to hit Yoko again, but she shielded his blow with her swords positioned in "x". Both Hak and Yoko are struggling, but their eyes are filled with determination to win. The masked girl released her block that force the black haired male slid on the cobblestone ground. He stop using his Quandao with clouds of dirt on his feet.

"That is the more fun than i ever had in the palace for 6 years." Yoko grinned between panting from tiredness. "I never met someone who can fight this bad." she charged towards to him.

Both slashed their weapons at each other. They're bodies are sweated from the over worked, but they didn't mind and continue to fight. Hak swinged the blade at Yoko and she ducked at it. She swung her sword at him then their weapons clashed at each other making noises from the metal of the blade.

Hitting the swords several times while Hak blocked it using his Quandao. The two never stopped until they grew tired from overwork.

They dropped their weapons on the ground. "That was tiring." Yoko slump on the ground and leaned her head on the stone fence, Hak did the same thing too.

"How long you've been doing this?" the black haired male asked the masked female.

"When i was still 10." she answered. "I trained in the middle of the night just to ease the boredom out, yet it was still boring if i trained alone."

"I see." he gaze up at the stars.

>v> A playful idea came into the servant's thought. "Earlier, i saw your reaction after Yona-hime 'confessed' to you in front of Kan Tae-jun." she said sarcastically. "You even blushed...!" she laughs.

-_- Hak pick up a stone and threw it annoyingly at her. "We were just playing." he replied in a monotone voice.

T^T "But that was fun!" she whined while touching the bruise on her head. "Hm? Do you liked Hime-chan?." she asked him.

"HOW DID THE HELL YOU WOULD KNOW NUISSANCE THINGS LIKE THAT?!" he yelled in fury.

"You liked Yona!" she gasped.

(A/N: Yoko used reverse psychology to trick people often.)

"That means nothing to you!"

"Oi~! Hak and Yona kissing on the tree. K.I.S.S.I.N.G~!" Yoko sanged while mocking the taller male.

Veins started popping on his head. "Damn you!!" he chased the annoying girl around the whole area.

Yoko had never felt this so happy in her lifetime. "Oi~ Hak loves his Princess, little Yona." she teased while skipping away from the angry male.

***

Sorry 'bout that, but i'm terrible at actions. I am completely had no ideas and my sister (who is also my assistant) is not helping me!

A/N: Yoko was actually 17 after they escaped the palace. She'll be turning 18 at fall. It was a mistake for putting 18 at her character bibliography.

Special thanks to everyone whom voted, followed, supported me, and add my story to their reading lists. Arigatõ!
